It really depends. You will easily win a turn fight against a modern jet if they don't use their plane's advantages.

I know very well that it is a beta, but that doesn't make it immune to criticism. When Leatherneck released the Mig-21, there were training videos and a campaign, even though it was a beta release. More importantly, people are paying full price for this module on a promise. If you ever go to Steam, you'll know that a lot of early access games are never upgraded.

I know this is very late to the party, but I feel that this review is needed. This is my take on the mod.

Well clearly it is an AI because if that were me, I would use the 21's radar advantage. The F-86 has no flares and no RWR. However, it does have maneuverability. Against an enemy player, he would still have a tough dogfight if it boiled down to that. And I think there was one instance where the F-86 won against a Mig-21.

Not at all. So I decided to do an experiment. A dogfight between the F-86 and the Mig-21. The results were unexpected.

It could, but the best way to use FRAPS is to record video to a separate hard drive. Frames really go down when you both read from and write to the same hard drive.

I found that I can outflank him, but the problem I found is that the weapons aren't set up, so it's a mad dash to get everything ready.

I noticed that if you really eff up a landing, you can still survive. I remember clipping the roof of a building, losing all momentum and landing very hard. Apparently aside from everything being destroyed, I survived.

With a few days of heavy cramming, I was able to muster up a review. I tried to get this rendered earlier, but there were issues the heat wave and humidity doing a number of my video card. Luckily I was able to get this done and I am happy about it. I'll be looking to test this thing out in the multiplayer maps. In short, I recommend it.
