I would love to have the famous A4 missile playable in the asset pack. As complex as it can be done, with refuel trucks like A stoff, B stoff, T shoff and everything, controlled through maybe combined arms or something of sort. Player would have to find a good launch location deploy the rocket fuel it up calculate direction and the rest and fire it. One can only dream...

A few updates ago an interesting bug appeared, the dreaded CPU bug that affected mostly AMD (and not only) users, where the game would just use way too much CPU than it should, you know what bug i'm talking about. After the fix, DCS works well in SP and MP servers however i noticed that on MP servers that have the DCS VOIP enabled .. the problem seems to still be there. I have been playing on some of those servers with VOIP enabled before the dreaded update that brought us the CPU bug and there were never any problems so clearly the VOIP system doesn't use so much CPU. Here is a list of servers that i tested this on they are from different regions and with different numbers of players, the only thing that seems to affect this is the VOIP function ON or OFF. SHADOWREAPERS PvE BUDDYSPIKE GROWLING SIDEWINDER SHADORREAPERS PVP 4YA PVE BURNING SKIES ROTORHEADS I also tested this on a multiplayer server made by me, super simple mission no scripts no nothing, same results, here: VOIP OFF VOIP ON All the tests were made on 1080p resolution and 60 fps as you can see. My system specs in case you need them: CPU: AMD Rysen 7 7800 X3D GPU: AMD RadeonRX 7900 XT RAM: 32Gb ddr5 6000 mhz

CPU runs +20° hotter in idle after update to 2.9.16.10523.
predattak replied to Dmsea1's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Same here me and my friends are also having the same problem. After the newest update ( 2.9.16.10523 ) the CPU consumption went crazy. In the same Single Player Test Scenario the usage went up from 14% - 16% to crazy 24 26%. temps went up almost 20 degrees C lol. BTW the test map is empty caucasus with different clients in different parts of the map for testing. Also even in the main menu where before this update i got almost idle temps and cpu usage .. now the CPU is at crazy 16 to 18% and temps as high as 62+ degrees C instead of the 37 - 38 i usually had. I reverted to the penultimate update ( 2.9.15.9599.1 ) and the temps and CPU usage are just fine, as the always were in DCS .. something is wrong with the new update. -
Game freezes when I try to select aircraft in MP lobby.
predattak replied to AJaromir's topic in Game Crash
Well, after the last update at least for me it seems that the game freezes for 5 - 10 seconds when click to spawn inside aircraft on multiplayer, issue i never had before the update. -
This is an interesting phenomena. So, at night, in a moonless night scenario, if you look at different angles your image darkens by a lot for a few seconds. From my testing, the angle at which this phenomena occurs seems to be related to the time of night and maybe even location. Also you can get this thing even from third person if you look at the right angle. Here is a video i took of the thing happening. Also i have 3 tracks, one where this thing happens when you look straight up, another track with changed location and a different hour where the angle changed and another one with a little light when the "bug" is absent. (i only get it on moonless nights, pure black so far) Another person i could test this with also has this happening. WhatIsGoingOn.mp4 dimming 12am.trk different angle required.trk little light, no dimming bug.trk

I understand that. My problem is that you can't control what tank will drain first If i start in air or i start both pumps on, that's it, i can't shut them off and start only one of them and so, both tanks get drained at the same time instead of the right order. The only way to select what tanks are emptied first is to close the valve on one of the tanks with the fuel selector lever and the manual states that doing so it's not the procedure and that you're supposed to control what tanks emptied first with the electric pumps. You may say that well the engine pumps are doing this but they are not because as i said before IF you start cold and only start with one pump only one tank will be used. (until you turn on the other one and after that there is no way of controlling the fuel flow) You should try and see if you can replicate that if you have the module.

I noticed that my engine runs perfectly after turning off the fuel pumps (E13 E14). The fuel gauge indicates that both pumps feed the engine from both tanks at the same time EVEN when one or all of them are turned off. I cannot control the fuel flow unless i use the fuel selector lever, manual says i should not do that instead i should control the fuel flow with the E13 and E14 breakers. it's as if the pumps refuse to turn off once you activate them. super frustrating. Can anyone replicate this on his machine? Spawn a D9 in air by default all the pumps will be turned on monitor the fuel gauge for both tanks, they drain at the same time. Good. Now turn on or all pumps off and monitor the fuel gauge again the same result the fuel will drain from both tanks as if the pumps where working. Now you can do another thing that proves even more that this is a bug (i really hope it's not but) Spawn a D9 coldstart start the plane with only one pump on fly and monitor the fuel gauge it should drain fuel only from the tank with the activated pump now start the second one and stop the first one you will notice that both pumps cannot be turned off you can even land the plane and stop the engine, disable all the pumps (it would be impossible to start without at least one activated) you can start the plane just fine.. as if (and i know i'm repeating myself ) the pumps were on even when they were supposed to be off.

NOW AVAILABLE: Community A-4E-C Mod
predattak replied to Merker's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Thank you for this. Also, for the extremely small portion of players that for one reason or another still play on DCS 1.5.8; the plane works in 1.5.8 too. Not sure how much % but it works. I started the plane, took off started the radar and that's about it by now so if you are one of those very few that use 1.5.8 and you want to fly it, give this a try. -
DCS version 1.5.7.9337 port 10308 is opened on both UDP and TCP. (tested in other games, even in DCS when i run the server i i look with any port checking program the port is opened) Do i have ipv6, Yes. (see the attached piucture) Do i have ipv4 , yes (see the attached piucture) Do i have any virus/malware ? no , i formatted my HDD.(all my partitions) Did my provider changed any settings or anything since my last successful DCS public server hosting? No. Did i installed any other programs that weren't on my computer at the time my DCS server worked? No. Did i changed any settings on my internet connection? No Did this happened to any other game/application before or after DCS server bug? No. Did you had any connectivity problems with DCS before the update? Never. Are you the only one that has this problem? Obviously not. My wingman has the same problem , he is from another ISP btw plus people here in this thread seem to have the same problem and i bet there are alot more ppl out there with this problem that just don't bother to write on forums instead they are waiting for a fix.
