  1. Well i added a new button i needed for a mod that i have by modifying the keyboard.lua from C:\Users\USERNAME\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\YOUR AIRCRAFT\
  2. (My post is little late but for ppl who will have this problem from now on) Yes it is, use the RCtrl+RShift+* and RCtrl+RShift+- to make the hud smaller and fit in. After that use the zoom out and zoom in from the mouse scroll to adjust your cockpit view. don't forget to save the position with Ralt+numpad0 when you are done.
  3. Don't look at the boom ..fly formation with the tanker , remember that in the f 15 has the refueling "hole" on the left side not right in front of you so it's slightly harder for the first time. Now with our current AI system, you must be careful because sometimes the AI boom operator does nothing even if it's in the ideal position so take a quick look at the boom from time to time when you are close and you get no contact. If the boom operator is having a beer instead of dealing with your f 15 , go back and reset the boom. Be careful where you stand and how high from the tanker you stand ( after refueling the AI suddenly drops the boom down so it can kill you (you just blow out of the sky because the upper part of the boom is collidable.) One thing to avoid this is to be slightly lower than normal and fly formation slightly on the right side of the tanker. Remember the first 2 or 3 times it's hard .. after that it's easy as pie. If you feel that you can't control so many aspects like altitude etc , use altitude stabilizer autopilot when you have reached the optimal altitude and go from there. Another thing but i guess that you already know this if you made air ref in the a 10(did not watched your vid, no time :(), micro adjustments on the throttle and very careful with the rudders! Keep in mind that the F 15 has more powerful engines so the micro adjustments that you made in the a 10 are 2 much on this bird also when you are going to be full of kerosen the plane will be little harder to control (especially when you have 3 bags) so you know how it goes with DCS ....PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. After you have coupled with the boom, take a reference point (ex: tanker's engines) and keep them still on your monitor; if your speed is a little lower or higher than the speed of the tanker, the boom will disconnect due to drifting away or moving forward too much. The same goes for lateral movement. One thing i use is to lock the tanker in TWS and read the speed difference between the 2 planes .. it must be 0 if the speed goes to -1 you are too slow and you must add power and so on. I hope that all this helped you at least a bit, sry for my bad english, good luck.
  4. Me and my friend we both have these "Connection Interrupted" errors when we want to join any server. We can't join even the server that we play on (if i'm the host i see my friend trying to connect and after 2 seconds "username" has left the game...(he gets Connection Interrupted) The ONLY server we could join is the jg27 fighting legends WW2 server. That's it. Yesterday everything was fine, we did not installed any programs, no updates we did not changed our ISP or anything. The only mods we have are the F-14A, F-16A, F-15E, Su-17, Su-24 and one ship mod BUT we had these mods for a long time and it worked perfectly that's why i don't think it's from the mods. I uninstalled the mods and got the same results, i used the dcs repair, same results, renamed DCS folder from my docs and entered Single player so that the game can create a new DCS folder and settings.. same results. I have no idea on how to figure this out except reinstalling DCS which is a pain in the ass. Ow yes sometimes if we don't get connection interrupted we get "DCS has stopped working" I flew in MP for years and i had no problems with the sim.. until now ..
  5. Ty, this will be useful in mp. I'm gonna add this to my Kneeboard :)
  6. Same problem here, with or without payload the jet rolls to the right. Ailerons and rudder are in neutral position and it's not from the stick either. I tried the instant action and map editor or loading custom missions.. the result it's the same the jet loves to roll right. I guess it's a module problem or most probably some "update" to the f 15 because the Su 25t does not have this problem. I'm gonna try other planes but i'm sure that they are fine. The F-15c is grounded until the next update :( it's impossible to bleed incoming missiles with this roll
  7. Yeah .. i'm an idiot ... :))) thx alot for helping :)
  8. Hello, i have a problem... i don't know if i'm doing something wrong or if my game settings are somehow changed in the config files or whatever so here it is: I create a mission, put my plane on the ground and select the option TAKEOFF FROM PARKING LOT and i select a lot. Usually the game spawns me in the plane with everything switched off (Power Engines Taxi lights all) Now here is the problem : today when i tried the same thing the game spawns me on the ground(witch it's good) but with engines on lights on everything on ... this kills realism and i have to shut down my plane to rearm if i want to change the load at the beginning of the mission while i'm on the ground. Is this a problem or i do something wrong? This never hapened to me before.
