  2. You can. You can do this ONLINE, i don't think there is a LAN option in DCS You must buy 2 modules, you and your wife must have the module activated. You must buy them on different usernames. After this just create a map , add a clinet plane , make an online server, and you and your wife can jump into the same plane :)
  3. Yes it is ! Just like Joey said , Orbits! Do this, add you aircraft add a waypoint select waypoint 0 click on ADVANCED WAYPOINT ACTIONS click add, (a new options menu will appear) on TYPE select Perform Task on Action select Orbit on PATTERN select Race-Track set the speed and altitude DONE Remember this when you make the mission: If the aircraft is damaged by enemy, the ai will stop orbiting and RTB on the nearest friendly airport. If there is no such thing he will land on neutrals too. The same will happen if the AI runs out of fuel.

  10. Do you use the 1.5 or the Early Access of the 1.5? i use the Early Access version and i get this.
  11. I'm not sure if this is intended , not finished or a bug; Cloud altitude cannot be changed. No matter how low you set the cloud altitude in the static weather panel, the clouds will always appear at about 4000 meters. However, if you set the cloud density to 9 or 10 (cloud cover) the altitude function works and the cloud cover appears at the altitude you want. Sorry if it was reported , i searched the forums as best i could before posting and i could not find any postings about this. ( i'm not sure to what section i should post this so sorry if i posted in the wrong section)

I'm happy that we finally have the WG-21 and R4M rockets on our D9 but anyone knows how to use them?( manual is not helping ... ) What i mean by that is not how to arm them and fire but how to effectively aim with them in DCS at what ranges, speed(if required), angle and so on; even more how they were actually used by the Luftwaffe... wikipedia is ..well .. wikipedia, you never know what is actually true in there. If any of you have any info on this matter please share it.:helpsmilie:
  13. Owwww, the DC3 project is coming to life slowly but surley! I can only hope you will use TF 51 instead of P 51 (DC 3 doesn't have weapons anyway) or make a stand alone module that does not need any other module to be flown.. i would love to fly this when it's done but i'm on the other side in DCS (FW 190 D9) so, hopefully i won't need the P 51 module to fly this beauty:)

I will try one of the methods , btw i never asked you guys to do all the scripting, i just asked for a tiny example so i can have something in front of my eyes to rely on (if you just tell me do that and that in scripting language i can't understand much from MIST cuz like i said before i'm a MIST noob) Thx again :)
  15. Yes , that would work but it it would have to be a ton of groups on the map, like a said that is not good for us so that's why we use MIST to respawn a small number of groups again and again forever. Problem is that that's about the only thing i know how to do in MIST ..simple respawns ..

Hello, i need some help with MIST, I want to make a group to respawn when killed as another random plane so for example if the original plane was a MiG-29 when killed i want it to have an x chance to respawn as something else let's say an Su-27. I want to do this because i need to randomize my coop missions ..we are getting bored to know what enemy is coming at us. I know you can do this with the normal editor but i want MIST because i need that unit to respawn forever and to do that with normal scripts you must fill the map with tons of groups that make lag and stuff for ppl.. you know.. If you are a good man and want to help please paste me an example because i'm a MIST noob :) Thank you for understanding:)
  17. There is a simple solution for you with MIST, here let's say you want to make a MiG-23 to fight you and respawn when you killed him and so on. In the editor place the enemy mig group add the flight path and all (for some reason the script works if there is 1 unit per group so don't put 2 units in one group or the group will spawn but do nothing .. just fly. If you want to add 2 migs add 2 groups) i will name the mig group for this example mig1 Go to scripts and make the first script MIST activation TYPE - mission start | CONDITIONS - none or time less than x | ACTIONS - do script file (last version of MIST.lua) Now make the respawn script for the mig group TYPE - continuous action | CONDITIONS - none | ACTIONS - do script (add this) if not Group.getByName('mig1') then mist.respawnGroup('mig1', true) end DONE Another thing , do not use later activation on the units you want to respawn (or else they will just do nothing just like if you add more than 1 unit per group) Save and try it .. to all ppl around here if this is a horrible way please don't swear me or anything i'm a scripting NOOB so ...

  20. I feel you ... that's why i don't use it ..in fc3 it's almost ok but in dcs level the pilot obstructs alot of stuff that you need.

  22. It's the same problem but in a different spot. Go to your DCS World\Mods\aircraft\F-15C\Input\joystick\ < --- LAST TIME IT WAS KEYBOARD, NOW IT'S JOYSTICK READ CAREFULLY BEFORE EDITING :) inside you will see a "default.lua" file. open it Go under the "--Systems" tab and add these lines {down = iCommandPlaneHook, name = _('Tail Hook'), category = _('Systems')},--Su33 {down = iCommandPlanePackWing, name = _('Folding Wings'), category = _('Systems')},--Su33 If you already have the line for tail hook , delete it and paste this one instead. (Don't worry about the "--Su33" terminations they don't do anything , they are just reminders for modders) They will fix it , (hopefully) Until then use the version of the Mod that borrows the controls from the Su-33. (If you don't have it contact me on steam i typed my id and stuff in some posts above)
  23. Idea for the HE 111; it could be made flyable(if not advanced then at least FC3 level) There is a Free Cockpit mod for He 111. The mod is for War Thudner BUT the model of the cockpit could be ported. here is the link , it's in a pack(you will see) http://live.warthunder.com/post/162881/
  24. First i want to say a big thank you for the mods, finally i can shoot down something other than Mustangs.... Can you make a Stuka dive bomber please? I know Polychop Simulations is working on it but it's not going to be anytime soon. A Stuka with FW-190 cockpit and avionics .. perfect in my eyes :).. if you can and have time of course.
