I was actually thinking of exactly this earlier today. I remember how big a part Mumble was in Project Reality for me. So when they included it IN the game as a feature in later updates, they crawled up to one of my top 5 major mods/sims/games of all time. A similar solution for later DCS verrsion maybe? A man can dream.

Hey. I'm using a Delanclip and FTNOIR as well. You need the pointrack plugin for it to work. They should remove the "NOIR" part of their name hehe. http://ftnoirpt.sourceforge.net/

Thank you everyone for replying, but escpecially thank you Blooze. Renaming the DCS folder in my documents worked, and seemed to fix a lot of other small things. Thanks!

Well yeah, of course. Since my wingman mostly follows the commands and I can see the ATC line in the top left. It's just that I don't get any responses in form of audio from any where. Awacs doesn't respond, wingsman doesnt respond (altough seem to follow orders), atc doesnt respond (altough I get the text when I call inbound).

Sorry forgot to mention that. Realistic of course. I've tried to switch to see if there is any difference but there isen't.

Heya. Didn't know if I should put this here or in the bugs forum. Anyway I stopped hearing responses from atc and tankers some weeks ago but didn't think much about it since it happens all the time in multiplayer. However this time it doesn't appear to dissapear. I don't get any response from ATC, Tankers, Wings ect. ect. I do get the Arrival message up in the left corner when contacting ATC, and wingman appears to follow orders, but tankers don't responds or connect. But no response from anyone. I have deactivated all mods and tried to check files but nothing works.

The mig21GCI mod is installed via JSGME but I get no radar response from GCI. I also get no response from ATC or tankers..... But at least the ATC recognizes me, the tankers dont.

To (kind of) respond to Xaoslaad: I like what I see just as much as the next person but they haven't given a release date for a reason. The last time they gave a (hint of) release was for the Holidays. That is now almost 8 months ago. I'm not trying to be a dick in any way but saying that "the dont hold your breath comments arent much warrant anymore" ect. doesn't really ring true, does it. Even if it turns out that you are right and we see a release in September, the "dont-hold-your-breath"-crowd would still have statistics on their side. For all we know it might be here in a week, in September or maybe around the holidays. I sure does looks good though and one thing is for sure, I've stopped holding my breath :).

I also agree with wolle. I have only been active member since 2013 (registered 2014) but even I have learnt not to take any consideration regarding estimate releases for DCS stuff. If it is a finale release with a specific release date, only then might I get excited. Not complaining! Just saying. I have yet to be proven wrong though. It is good looking however. The pictures sure are pretty!

Like you, and a lot of ppl, I am using PeterPs proper neck. It stopped working a couple of months ago an I didn't bother to solve it. Couple of weeks ago I had a look in JSGME and disabled and then re-enabled it again and got it working. But I've also been annoyed with the HUD being kinda of high on the screen and the TTV not being visible. I think what I do is: I zoom out a bit to get some periferal and then I center my head and TIR a bit lower to see TTV.

Put luas on the shelf for a while but decided to try this again. Everything is working now except the keybindings. I cant get them to work at all. I have looked through the thread but not found anything, apologize if I missed it.

Hey cheers for the reply. However we managed to find the solution. I don't have the URL to the fix but, for people having the same problem, apparently you need to remove the stick from the registry (regedit). Google the solution above and you should find it.

Hiya. A friend just installed DCS for the first time and is trying to change the controls but when he tries to go to the control tab DCS CTDs. It's a FFB stick and we found only two posts on possible solutions. One is unplug and plug back in when in controls but it still crahses. The other post got deleted. Anybody had this problem? Thanks.

Yeah I was thinking that the back rest might be a big problem as well. It seems that the belt tensioners are big part of the build so I don't think I want to skip them. Currently it looks like I will need to build a new chair from scratch. I might just buy the recommended parts and see what I can do. Thanks.

Hey Rico! Yeah I understand that it is hard to comment without seeing the chair. I was just thinking that maybe you, or anybody els doing this kind of build had any general tips. Maybe they built their own smaller version, or maybe know of a smaller build or something. Anything that I can steal Ideas from, so to speak. I think the biggest problem is implementing the flaps in to the chair, in such a way that it is still comfortable when not flying. Don't care if it looks ugly, as long as it's relatively small, movable and comfortable. EDIT: Also, looking at Bergison's chair, I have a hard time seeing how it can be made smaller. But then again I know jack Shite about this.

I was searching for solution like this as well and stumbled on to Bergison's site and later found his thread here. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. However, I have almost zero experience in this kind of stuff so glad to see other people trying to do it too. Gets me motivated. I am a student and live in a very small apartment so space is extremely limited. Hence I'm trying to look for a smaller solution. I have an old office chair from the late 80's, made out of like cast iron or something (except the seat and back rest of course) and I'm thinking that maybe it can be converted. Otherwise I'll have to build a seat from scratch and throw the regular chair out. That's how little space I have. If any one has any ideas for a smaller chair or something please do advice me!
