  1. Hi! I read the whole manual and chuck's guide and all I learned was alignment, wp entry and edit. there is nothing about offsets, and the position update in the manual is quite poor. I could not find Zeus post about offset so I came here to ask for help. Can anyone teach me or point me into the right direction for learning about offsets and position update? Also, how can real mirage pilots update their ins in bad wheather conditions? They just dont take off?
  2. Hi Bignewy! Did you have time to check the mission I attached? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi Bignewy! Is there an ETA for this update? Thanks.
  4. Ok, try placing the cursor over the mouse assignments on the right and click "Clear" in the bottom. Then you should be able to map the axis.

    What is this?

    Right! Thanks

    What is this?

Did not know that. How do I? Also, can you make jtac to give LL coordinates as well? If so, which system?

    Radar Filter

The 2000 5 is a dream for any pilot.
  8. Thats because you are not in the axis zoom. Press the axis menu and double click the zoom line at the end.

    What is this?

The pcn has decimal system for minutes, and i think the editor has hexagecimal, so 6 seconds will be .1 in the Mirage. I think.

    What is this?

I just read in the manual that WP00 is in fact your aircraft so we are good there. I think what does not work are the bullseye switches on the left of the VTB.

    What is this?

Its quite awesome actually, you should try :) It even does the flare, or perhaps im losing it.

    What is this?

Awesome! Is it normal that the autopilot performs perfect autolands all the time??? I thought it was for approach only, but it touches the ground even better than AI :joystick: :book:

    What is this?

    Absolutely!

    What is this?

Aaaaah I see. So the prep button is for PCN visualization and the DEST for navigation. So prep is for the info I was looking for before, no matter what the dest is at. Thanks a lot! And yes, the Mirage is an absolut joy to fly and I cant stop reading and flying and testing. I still think all the things I said before though :D But I wont touch an FC3 plane never again after seeing the Mirage.

    What is this?

And what happens when they both not have the same WP selected? It seems to still show both figures, but I wonder if they are correct.
  16. Joni

    What is this?

Again, nevermind. You are right, now it works!!! Thanks!

    What is this?

This question still stands. Is it normal that these PCN modes only show the second part of the description (after the slash)? TR/VS Time remaining to waypoint/Ground Speed D/RLT Distance / Bearing to waypoint or offset waypoint. So the first one only shows me GS and de second one just bearing.
  18. Joni

    What is this?

Ok no! Nevermind. The option tab is just to set the VTB as WP1 (for example), but the bullseye must be placed on a WP or the other way around.
  19. Joni

    What is this?

But I dont think thats the way it works. You see, the tab option is just a virtual way to tell the aircraft that waypoint 1 (for example) is going to be your bullseye but in the mission editor the actual WP1 may not be over the mission bullseye. Thats why I doubted. Sorry I could not test it now thats why I asked you to. Thanks! Is it normal that these PCN modes only show the second part of the description (after the slash)? TR/VS Time remaining to waypoint/Ground Speed D/RLT Distance / Bearing to waypoint or offset waypoint.
  20. Joni

    What is this?

Perfect! Now... What about if you put the WP1 over the bullseye instead of using the option in the aircraft tab? Does that work the exact same way?
  21. Joni

    What is this?

Right! That's what I knew, but then I dont understand what you said about the VTB being independant from the PCN.
  22. Joni

    What is this?

Oh, so INS and PCN are two separate things? Now I dont understand sorry
  23. Joni

    What is this?

Okok, I started to think I hadn't understood anything from before :joystick: Manual states the following: The INS controls the information displayed in the following instruments:  HUD: Aircraft heading, attitude and current waypoint navigation.  HDD: Aircraft heading, attitude and waypoint position, including bullseye. So I thought they were not independant. Thoughts?
  24. Joni

    What is this?

You meant 01 would be WP1-Bullseye, right? 00 is your own aircraft, always.
  25. Is this due to the last update? I believe so since its the first time it happens to me. Thanks.
