you need to perform autopilot and fbw test, after that if the decol light is still on is because you touched trim while on the ground, if so you need to click on the button just below de fbw a/a-load switch.

Hi, I cannot get this to work. Every time the CCRP release cue appears I press the pickle button and the bombs fall away, they dont wait until the cue centers with FPM as always. Is this broken or something? Thanks!

Wonderful information, thank you Art! I knew about inconsistencies in DCS maps but what I did not know was that not all modules show the same information in their compass, that is SO wrong and sad; because not only we dont count with a proper map system but also each module deals with it differently, wow. I guess that as long DCS disregards the meridians lines we're fine. The problem is when dealing with GPS or INS systems. I understand now why the Mirage doesnt have the correct spots even after starting from the air with "perfect" alignment. Other sulution will be as simple as make both rulers (f10 and me) show bearing angle from meridians lines and bearing angle from grid north.

Hi guys, Now that I jumped into the Mirage, I need to know exactly how is the information presented in DCS in regards of headings. Im a pilot and these things are very important for my sim experience. The ruler in the mission editor is in true or magnetic heading? the ruler in the F10 map is in true or magnetic heading? all the VAD charts say that there is a 6° magnetic variation in the caucasus zone, is it actually that way in game? Batumi for example has rwy 13 at a heading of 126 according to the mission editor, so that means that the true heading is 126 but the magnetic heading necessary to fly 126° is actually 120°. Thats how it is in real life, is it that way in game? Does anyone know exactly if all the inputs in the INS PCN of the Mirage are in true or magnetic heading? Im asking about inputs, not readings. I guess these are questions for ED more than anything, since user answers would be nothing more than a guess or a confirmed guess at the most. But im happy so see what the community thinks. Thanks a lot.

Hi razor! I wasnt actually asking if it is simulated or not, rather than trying to know if it will be in the future. Oxygen level has a gauge in the right part near the warning lights. Check there and you'll see the level, when is 0 you should get blurry vision if flying too high, like the A-10C does.

Hi guys! Was this ever fixed? I got the Mirage and started wondering about a lot of stuff.

Yeap, I've been flying that way for more than a decade. Here in Argentina we dont have much technology to help. We fly planes without DME so you can imagine. What I enjoy of a sim is the technology, because that's what I dont fly in real life. For using maps and mind calculations I already have my RL flying :)

Oki doki. I dont think I fully understand the whole INS nature yet.

Yeap, I did an update with a TACAN station on thursday I think, and it works, not so good but it works. But I wasnt referring to landing obviously, but for bombing and navigating in enemy territory where there's no nav aids. I was wondering if you have IMC then perhaps they didnt fly that day if you are in deep enemy ground. By the way, the TACAN offset feature is a BLAST!! I've never seen something so simplified. If there real Mirage also has that, then it is a tremendous aircraft. Also the radar has some awesome features. I'll never jump into any FC3 cockpit again!

 And how do you plan on doing that if there are none? :megalol: So ins bombing is not an option in IMC? Does anyone know how do real mirage pilots do to update ins on IMC?
-
And how do real pilots do to update their INS when there are bad wheather conditions? They just didnt fly that day? Thats something I was wondering since learned INS update.
-
Ok. After doing that, what I noticed is that only by pulling some Gs in two or three turns after starting in the air, the WPs get to drift. Is this normal? With just a few turns and the INS starts to suffer?
-
Woow, nice work! Although I just installed it and it shows quite a lot of bugs, like french circle and several other markings over the ones of the skin itself. Is there any way I can fix that?
-
Oh ok. Kinda imagined that. What is the way of knowing the alignment status in flight?
-
Baltic, Hi!! The training missions say that the operational mode in STS gives you the allignment status. But it doesnt seem to work while in the air. I want to see how not aligned it is while flying to see if it requires an update. But in STS it only shows me the WP number :(

Today's Update???? So I just read the changelog and found this: DCS World German soldier with Mauser 98 is available for all localizations. Briefing. Added pressure in hPa and measurement units for QFE pressure indicator. Su-25. Fixed cockpit glass. Decreased CPU load of SAM groups. Su-25T and Ka-50. Phantom images will not appear on TV screen. Ka-50. Added trimmer mode for joysticks without spring and FFB into Ka-50 special options. Fixed in-game manual window is less than game window in minimum resolution. They fixed the new stuttering problem on 1.5 but only on 2.1??? Meaning that the 1.5 will remain unplayable.

Yeah, I just saw you created them after Zeus posted the INS Precision Bombing thread. Thanks.

One last question. Are those missions updated enough as of not to confuse the user? I know zeus changed a lot after they were created. Maybe im wrong

Sure! I was looking fwd to do both, just had little time. But now that am done with whole manual and guide its time to fly. Ill provide feedback soon. And thanks!

I learned that the wp are shown by clicking validate on ins, but they must be in range for them to show on screen.

I havent, was planning to do it tonight. So i will thanks!

Also want to learn about mark points and showing WPs in the VTB
