Can someone who owns the NTTR map confirm if a straight line with the ruler in the mission editor shows 0°? If thats the case, then the new maps will suffer from the same error as the Black Sea one. If the NTTR is correctly modeled, then the ruler will only show 0° when aligned with the meridians.

I do it all the time for emergency training purposes and every time I do, the controls are gone for 10 seconds aprox.

Does anyone know why the controls are dead when engine shuts off in flight but then they come back again after a few seconds?

As per the manual: Operational Modes The HSI has four operational modes: INS/VOR Navigation (NAV), TACAN/VOR Navigation (TAC), TACAN Offset Point/VOR Navigation (VAD) and Ground Controlled Interception (TEL).  NAV (main INS/VOR navigation mode): In this mode, the HSI connects with the INS and displays waypoint navigation information along with bearing to selected VOR/ILS station. This is the only mode that allows to select between true or magnetic headings, through its two sub modes: Right now, if the airport where Im landing is not a waypoint and has no TACAN or VOR then there is no way to get DME anywhere; nor in the HUD or the HSI. The thin needle should point to the ILS station and provide DME as all ILS do but all it does is stay there and do nothing. The thin needle flag if off so it should work.

that was actually pretty good, the only thing is it took away my soundboard eco cancellation and environment suppresion features. ill look for one similar though. thank you very much

Well, I just saw it changing the number to 89.0 and back to 0.0 just one time in an entire flight. Strange right? The wind speed works, but some magic makes the INS know the wind speed while on the ground, which is impossible.

I noticed the wind direction is always 0.0 regardless of wheather settings. Is this a bug or I missed something.

yeah I know, but i guess i dont feel comfortable with it, maybe Im too old (32?) :music_whistling:

I dont agree. If you read the thread, you'll find out that the issue discussed here is not the accuracy but the different behaviour in different approaches. If you dive just a little the accuracy is almost perfect, but if you do level or pull up (pull up is the way it is in the Mirage according to documents and manual) then the accuracy is very bad. So the bug exists, its not a matter of perspective.

Has this ever been acknowledged by Razbam? Its been quite a long time since the initial discussion and we still have to deal with this bug, which is a pretty deal breaking one. Thanks!

Did it to you? :D I was referring to the interrogator knob in the right panel. Those are the modes and how they work, thanks anyway Strong!

Anyone knows for a fact if that knob is for interrogating different amount of digits or to interrogate different modes at the same time?

I rolled back to 1.5.6 and the AI works fine, so its a matter of the last update.

I rolled back to 1.5.6 due to huge amount of bugs and performance issues. Now i cant change the month manually. On 1.5.7 AI planes flew at stall speeds. So no way to have both fixes i guess :( Omg

If I copy them I still cant edit. And the workaround is not the cv nav as that only works for WPs.

I cant save those missions, are blocked. Any way?

If I change the missions month will they then update if an update comes up? Or by modifying them they will no longer update?
