  1. Don't worry mate. Got it sorted.
  2. Hey Strut, I downloaded the package but there are no instructions as to where the files need to be placed. Some help please mate.
  3. I received 2 as well and deleted them. Come on DCS, what is going on ?
  4. BTW Boarder, are their going to be addons for the BS2 ? Just thinking ahead.
  5. That's great to hear. Sometimes you just don't know, you know....
  6. Boarder, I just went to the link for the full featured cockpit and received a malcious web site warning. Any ideas ?
  7. Well I did the update and still TrackIR will not work with the Huey. It works fine in a-10C and BS2 though....so considering that the Huey doesn't use many HOTAS buttons or swithches, I mapped the look up / down / left / right / zoom to two of the hat swithches on the joystick.
  8. Mate, After your suggestion I looked at the mapping in both DCS and the X-55 software. Evrything is now working well for the A-10C. My problem now is the UH-1H module will not recognise any of the TrackIR profiles. I made the one for the A-10 as exclusive in the TrackIR software but nothing happens. I also made the profile non-exclusive and still no joy. Also created another profile for the Huey and no go... Any ideas ? Dave.
  9. HiJack, which program do you want screenshots from ? The software for the X-55 or the ones for the A-10c in DCS ? The original Athlonic file for the X-55 software file is somewhere on this forum. Am also confused as to why the TrackIR doesn't work with the Huey. Many thanks for replying mate. Please be aware that I am a total newbie with DCS and the various types of programs required for the flight control and head tracking.
  10. G'day all, I have a weird problem which I hope someone can help me with. First of all I have the latest version of DSCW and have the A-10C, UH-1 and BS2 modules. Am using the X-55 HOTAS and last week received the TrackIR 5. Here are my problems. 1. Using the X-55 software for the Huey I am able to use all of my flight controls but, TrackIR will not work. I have used the default profile, created a new one for DCS but no go. 2. In the X-55 software for the a-10C I loaded Althonics mappings. TrackIR works just the way I want it however, at first only the throttle controls worked. The joystick did not respond to the X and Y axis. I found in the profile that these were not mapped. 3. After mapping the joystick X and Y axis for the A-10, neither the throttle nor the joystick work. The rudder pedals do however as they are mapped directly into into DCS. Any thought or solutions please as I am stuck with a helicopter I can fly (only just) but doesn't recognise the TrackIR while one the other hand, I have the A-10 which recognises TrackIR but not the flight controls.
  11. Have a look at this YouTube video. It should help you out.
  12. A problem I have encountered. Got my X-55 last week and installed the newest drivers and software. Windows recognises both the throttle and stick as does the HUD software. The problem I have is that I can program the buttons, toggles, hats, etc using the HUD software BUT, cannot use the Settings part of the software. It doesn't respond at all. Any ideas as I can't set the deadzones and curves. Many thanks in advance.
  13. OK, I have the 3 screens worked and just received my X-55, which I am starting to program. I have downloaded TracknoIR 1.70 and have a logitech quickcam. Does any think that the headtracking software and camera will work together ? Many thanks in advance. Dave.
  14. llama, I had a problem setting up multiple monitirs last week. Had great feedback. This is my thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=127029 Hope that helps.
  15. Everyone, Many thanks for your help, the problem is now sorted. I selected 1 monitor and unchecked full screen mode. works like a charm !!! So I got through the Huey start-up procedures, then went to the take-off tutorial. Crappy take off but I got the bird in the air. Then my wife comes in and wanted to know what a button on my collective stick did. She dropped my throttle to 0% and I went out in a ball of flame.... We had a good laugh though. Happy simming all and I hope to meet you on the servers one day, when I learn how to fly.
