Carrier Ops how fast does the Kutznetsov steam for flight ops
ruddy122 replied to ruddy122's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
Thanks for the advice I'm setting up the Kutznetsov to steam at 59 KMH on a straight track with at least an hour leg For an Su33 carrier approach at around 290 KMH (156 knots) with a ground speed of 126 knots How do I make the "meatball" work on the Kutznetsov? Can you run out of trim authority in the Su -27?
ruddy122 replied to ruddy122's topic in Su-27 for DCS World
Thank you for the responses. I treat it as a limitation that I take into account when I go to battle with the flanker I love that plane Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Just looking if this Is the case in real life I noticed that as you approach 1100 kmh TAS you hit the limit of Nose Down trim and you can't trim the airplane anymore in 1.5.6 Is it true in real life? Cheers, Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

IMPORTANT MiG-21bis StarForce PATCH - MARCH 2017
ruddy122 replied to Dolphin887's topic in MiG-21Bis
Hi Guys, Long story short I installed DCS 1.5.6 before deleting MiG21Bis resulting in Activation Key Issues. I tried everything in the PDF file provided, but still having Starforce Activation Problems. I even tried to delete the key from the windows registry manually but did not work. I attached the error report (It's pretty big had to somehow save it as a PDF) and deinstalled MiG21Bis from 1.5.6. Completely confident this will get resolved soon. Keep up the good work, hopefully its a simple fix Cheers, Lucky Error Report.pdf -
Hi everyone Loving the Viggen Got a quick mission editor question What type of warship can I sink with a pair of Rb04e's? So far I can sink one Molniya but are there any other ships besides cargo, civil ships, tankers and armed speedboats I can blow up ? Getting good with Rb04, still trying to figure out Rb15 but great airplane Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

To the great folks at Leatherneck, Just a heart felt thank you for the Viggen. This has now became my favorite attack aircraft to fly. Off to study the Flight Manual. Cheers,

Hi, If you have the financial resources upgrade your PC to the recommended specs. Other things to think about is disable Shadows, Lens Affects. Set water texture to Low, and lower your aircraft and terrain texture by one level (High to Medium) and set your preload radius to Max. That's just a couple of settings you can set and see if it works. Lastly, we might need to be patient since its openbeta and see what the next round of updates bring. Hope this helps. Lucky

I have a 6 yr old computer and I want to tweak my graphics settings to get the best FPS out of my computer for the new DCS update How does Preload radius effect FPS? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had to disable a program called rapport (IBM Trusteer Services) My bank and some credit card companies use it to prevent identity theft and protects like your antivirus and Malware protector The program believed DCS was a threat and prevented it to work properly Once I disabled it DCS worked just fine Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

PS Read both Chuck's Guide and the flight manual just looking for any additional advice Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi everyone Curious to know if the gun sight on the Mirage 2000 is a WIP or final? I'm not real good in using the gun and waste my 150 rounds real quick I'm guessing I need more practice Any thoughts on making my aim better? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Another thing you can try is add an exception to your DCS for your antivirus, firewall, or Malware protector I had the same problem but when I disable real time scanning in Mcafee Antivirus and turned off my Malware Protector while playing DCS. DCS worked as advertised Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like the way it handles It gives me more brain bytes to use my sensors and weapons more effectively The Mirage still deserves your full attention because the FBW system can protect you so far before you get yourself in a bad situation If you fly precisely the jet is a joy to fly You fly her sloppy and she can be a real nightmare Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Everyone, Just a quick note. I discovered in the latest update on 2 December that the ADI needs to be caged during preflight in order to work. As soon as you have electrical power preferably after Engine Start there is an ADI Caging Lever on the Main ADI you need to switch to Cage the ADI and be good to go. The switch is located near the top right of the ADI Also, make sure when your initializing your position between Nellis and Georgia that you have the appropriate East or West Longitude in or you INS is going to be way off Happy Flying Lucky

Hi Everyone, Just a quick info note, the latest update for 1.5.5 on 2 December added a new switch to the Mirage 2000. During a Cold Start, the main ADI (Attitude Indicator) is powered off. To cage the ADI once you have ship's power (Generator On with an operating engine or battery power) there is a lever on the top right of the indicator. Flip the switch to turn it on and your ADI is fully functional and you are good to go. Also when switching between Nellis and the Caucasus Theatre make sure when you align you INS that your E and W is correct when initializing or your 70nm mission leg becomes 500nm or greater which results in some head scratching as you are fighting enemy air. Happy Flying Lucky

GBU12 + JTAC Lasing is a little tricky I put the JTAC almost right next to the target and make sure it's immortal and invisible Quick note unarmed Humvees will not laser designate. I use a Humvee from the Armor category and I have no problems lasing the target Going to try this weekend if my JTAC can lase 3-5 Km out to make it a little more realistic Still trying to figure out how to launch more than one GBU but I'll keep studying the manual and Chuck's guide Happy flying Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi everyone An even better solution is to read Chuck's Mirage 2000 guide It explains and walks you thru the FBW test and the PA (Autopilot Test) and then some more Kudos on RAZBAM on creating a great module Cheers Lucky Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
