  1. Got another crash after a second DDU and reinstall, any ideas? dcs.log
  2. No shader mod installed that I can remember and I dont have VR I have actually just updated to nvidia 457.09 and did a DDU uninstall of the previous driver yesterday, so that's somewhat surprising

  4. I created a steerpoint to CCRP a laser guided bomb on a specific target, which was successful. Using that same steer point I slew the TGP to a different target about 2-3 miles away, TMS up to get a point track and went on to CCRP release on this new target, it seems as though the release point was still on the original target so the bomb missed and did not pick up the laser. Should I create a whole new steerpoint on targets that are outside the envelope? or perhaps would making the hud soi and moving the target box be a quicker way to reengage a target until the markpoint system is implemented?.   5. Both aircraft were meant for higher altitudes for either intercept or escort, would be nice if they add AI B17's. Both aircraft will fall into their role better. The P51 doesnt stand much chance in these low altitude engagements we currently have if they are up against a competent enemy pilot, up high though, that would make for some interesting duels.

  9. I would gladly accept a 100/150 P47 if it meant giving a percentage of people their pacifiers. I'm fine with both sides being represented with the equipment that was most common at the time. In fact I think each aircraft should have full access to the various fuel grades, sights, and boost systems that way the mission designer can accurately replicate a engagement with the proper equipment for each unit at the time.
  10. You mean the server just applies the necessary mods for you when you join? I doubt that can be done currently but that would be a very nice system.
  11. I noticed when the modpack was forced in order to join, the player population dropped. Those missions were pretty nice and stood out from the normal low alt. frag fest DoW had on some of its missions, and ofc what the current air quake mission is.
  12. ok how about this, I am aware of all 3 aircrafts strengths IRL. what I meant by test was to verify my self of the new control stiffening on each plane. you needn't tell me realistically what to expect of each aircraft as im already am aware. :joystick:
  13. Im aware what they are good at and dont get sucked into those kinds of fights, you said vastly outperform.... I dont fight them on their terms, so like I said I still down them easily, Im all for realistic control surfaces, bc it doesnt change how I play, and it adds to realism if you fall for a dive trap. :doh:

I'm ok with the new stick forces IF this will apply to ALL aircraft that should be affected by said forces, also it seems that the rudder in the 109 was not affected by the new forces in my few flights yesterday, again if this is the direction the FM is going the changes need to be consistent across the board.

  18. The MG131's can be fired on the ground, apply your toe brakes and increase RPM with a little power, after a certain RPM is reached you can fire the MG's

  20. yup, just to contribute more evidence to the matter here is a video showing exactly this. Below 1500 rpm no flicker, above 1500 intense flicker depending on how long you have been flying. 4TZYDDylfAw

The great thing about the 108 and its mine shells is that it doesn't require a "critical hit" against a fighter, hitting it just about anywhere would cause catastrophic damage, take a look at the damage done to spitfires wings from 1 shell, the structure would be severely damaged, if it didn't immediately tear the wing off wind forces and G-stress would take care of the rest, meanwhile you can lob several 30's against the P51 in game and it will continue on until you hit the magic damage number to kill the engine or knock a wing off.
