X52 pro...is it "that" bad today???
RFC Rudel replied to Ala12Rv-watermanpc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
the sliders and all potentiometers (rotaries) can be cleaned with a fast end to end fast movement. Also many problems are do to usb power. Try to use a usb powered hub that use decent cables, route the usb cables so don't end up crating a tesla coil around ups/power cables´ early x52 great early x52 pro great happy 6 months of use on any madtcaz device..... -
I have write a lot about this……….. Imagine if a x55 go for 700US…….yes, after taxes in some countries that’s what you pay….a Immoral amount of cash for a plastic toy……. But the problem is more complex, Saitek was great, the SAITEK x52 give me years of service, but the madcatz is crap, even Logitech is not the same. Quality is hard to find even if you have the cash, put in the mix that sims a niche market and you buy what you get if you get it. Gaming I will be heartbroken to use a quality device to my arcade games…….yes I like to play some arcade sims too. Today many of the readers here are not in the 15s………already have to find time to play and we want to play not to troubleshoot crap devices. Biometrics: Lests face it, we don't like to remove hands from devices to turn a switch.... The more reachable and NATURAL to use the better, sometimes you have hats or buttons that fell so unnatural that you don't even configure. Need to stretch your finger and do the Kennedy bullet dance to reach it. The x52 regulation for your hand, it was very handy and was replaced in the x-65 and abandoned in the x55 The x-65 use plastic add on to elevate your hand but was crap I think that add ons like the pistol grips options in handguns could be used and even used on the stick to increase its diameter. I hate the lack of proper support for the arm on all flight devices, car games have lot better attachments on their devices. we have 4 holes to screw if we are lucky. Logitech 3d, very small but it just work always. Controls: x55 mode switch on the throttle? it was much better place on the x52. the mouse on the x52 throttle, and the slide, very easy to use. The front controls on the x65 throttle handle, now deduced to crap in x55. Love the Panels in front of the x-65 throttle, I Really get surprised on how natural I fell using them. 8 Way Hats: HATE THEM, you can use more than 4 way hat whit precision’s? and way so big? and close to each other.. .. Today I can say The best throttle experience (how it fell switches positions) the x-65 best joy experience, x52 Best usability, Logitech 3d (it works, don’t have many controls so you can complain where are the missing ones) I think that a modular and scalable system whit spare parts and upgrades are the answer PERIOD, and that’s why I help VKB on all I can, especially in the critics area (they love to hate me J ) And Fidelity....... You want a replica or more multi-function device? modular will fix that. And like someone post Crap devices still sell well........hope I can change that here PD: I am not part of VKB, I am a future reseller (if VKB decide to drop the soft lunches :)) and gamer and simmer, I really want build solutions to simmers not problems, I don't even sell hardware, I am a IT consultant. it not a joy is a modular system http://dhrf01.wix.com/vkb-com-ar -
get VKB pedals. http://www.mudspike.com/vkb-t-rudder-mk-iii/ I'm going to challenge you on the price point. Saitek's Pro Combat Pedals are about $180. They have exactly the same internals as their $150 Pro Pedals; and from reviews, it's a highly serviceable piece of junk. They are made mostly of plastic; plenty of reviews complain about breaking it, or needing to take it apart to fix. For an extra $20-$50 you get an all-metal, quality piece of equipment, one that will hold it's value if I ever need to sell it? It's a no brainer are in stock in usa for usa Canada customers and fsc Europe handle worldwide. I can assist you if interested, and if not I can help too.

your critics are very important and I am VERY happy to have you available. yesterday I literally say that this is not the Manhattan project.......... EJ functionality that was a NO (and a deal breaker for some) is now been designed, the specifics if made public can help customers decide. We plan ahead when thinking on buy this type of solutions.......and the lack of info is frustrating. momentum can be replaced by uncertainty still you get confused easy -

Rasputin from the 143.900Mhz? (who told you that?) epileptic seizure 7 days ago......do to firmware hung:cry: 7 days offline, lot of data loss..... What you call confusion is the flexibility of the core design used to fulfill customers request. Now that my country has been jump started, I will be for real soon. also I will like to talk to you by phone. -

scalable will mean it can grow, can start low, later you upgrade to metal gimbal, later upgrade electronics, and grow as your wallet allow. -

one because I will kill VKB if they sold a hotas whit a mamba and a gametrix..... 2 IT will be a complete solution whit rudders and other parts. 3 They cant compete whit half a solution. VKB cant afford not to have a hotas the must be modular escalable and very nice like the mamba. -

one thing must be resolved. the use of a extensions to implement twist. I think It could be made very short pro line require rudder, that's a no deal for many. imagine if rudders are out of stock...... That kill part the flexibility and scalability of the system. -

you don't want to know how crazy UIV and I end up......jajjajajajaaj they make me crazy whit the secret plans, and I always point out the things to fix, the things that where wrong........imagine 7 months of that..jajaja Rudel:WE cant lunch if you don't fix those broken links in your site!!!!!! VKB: I understand Rudel: no you don't Rudel:My name and reputation will be linked to VKB………I Do not make that type of decisions lightly…..And if I were unsure of my ability to deliver I will not get involved. Since VKB have no marketing whatsoever (it may be by design) have great products and a competition that is ready to be overrun, success is almost hard to avoid. People will google VKB….. a nice touch will be no broken links on the sites….. jajajjajajajajaja I design a marketing strategy, prepare de server for dataminig of the sites and emails.............and they change dates, names , products.......all the research and work Pluf, jajjajajajajaj 14 months ago my email when I was a future customer only, they offer me one of the few king cobra they have a 380 US I ask for pictures and manuals, link to 4 pictures in a free picture site, no manual in English. lock today at VKB, worldwide resellers, no more post whit fear about VKB, the post are about the new producs and what came next Yes they cant everyone happy (special sokol1) but if they keep going like this they will have a great future (and I a heart attack)
