  1. Thanks! I can quit trying to fix what is not broken.
  2. Populates in the saved Game folder instead of the DCS folder in Saved Games?
  3. I'm just now wondering about this thanks to a squady messing with it. I used to host the original IL2 with labels gray dot at 5k then aircraft type at 2k then pilot name at 500 meters. I'm hoping to sort out something like that for this Simulation. Considering Ground targets I'd like to do the same. for my old eyes and also compensate for the lack of real vison of the real world looking at a screen.
  4. Nice! I have done the same but my CH Stick is not quite the same, in this thread looking for what ever software you guys are using to tweak the FFb for our bases
  5. I have a Modded FF2 with a CH Combat stick for a handle. when you say Trimmer button? I'm at a loss here I see 4 trimming buttons up down left right
  6. Thanks SkateZilla I thought I posted some text to the above picture last night. I have no idea why or how it works but it did. again Thanks
  7. I have an odd thing going on, and not sure why. My beta is looking at my Stock Saved game folder when in my game, but the this App says it should not be. Is there a way to redirect it, other than using this program? Thanks in advance Even renaming the DCS folder and firing up the Beta It creates a new DCS folder, What am I over looking here.
  8. I'm just getting around to finding this stuff, But PeterP is still lurking it appears.
  9. @PeterP Thanks for Pioneering this! Is this the program your using to test your stick? It is asking for a payment, and even though it is cheap, I don't want to buy it and it not be the right thing. https://download.freedownloadmanager.org/Windows-PC/CL-Eye-Driver/FREE-5.3.0.0341.html
  10. EDIT: Resolved Mediacom says I have it right and they are open, Albeit the port checking sites say otherwise. I found some breather's and they are able to connect to my game when hosting. Are any of you on Mediacom, and port forwarding with the Mediacom supplied Technicolor CGM4231 router/WiFi? I have set my machine with a static IP and have it on the Ethernet and not WiFi. But none of the port checker sites IE https://www.whatsmyip.org/port-scanner/ show that I have an open port on 10308 I may have to invest into a router and dump theirs. I've scoured their site and any others that I can locate on a search with no luck all morning. Thanks for any input on this.
  11. Thanks Wood, as I figured, since I couldn't find an auto-updater for this app. I'll toss out the old and drop in the new.
  12. Howdy, I'm just now getting back into having broad band after about 4 years, I have a very early version of this, do I just toss it away, or can I just drop the EXE. in on top of the old version? I totally gave up Simming, due to the size of downloads and and frequency of them, I've got a lot of catching up to do.
  13. My solution to this PIA!!!!! https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4188288&postcount=15
  14. Solution Started all over with new install, but first I renamed old install and the DCS folder in 'Saved Games" located in 'My Documents to protect it before the install of the new installation. That did not work, I guess I don't understand how to make that text file work. I then took my Mods folder from old install and copied it into my new install Then I downloaded the installers located here. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1FNNwU4xwU-Ti00QWE2cWF6c2s Info on that I ran those to get my modules to install into the new installation. Once that was done I deleted the new DCS folder in "Saved Games" and renamed my original back to DCS Fired up the game, and began reintroducing my Input files back to the config of each aircraft. That is the most annoying thing of all this, so many updates in the past forced this, and something like this requires it also. Why or is there a easier way I just don't know. :( to get this new install with no decent broadband required installing it on a laptop with an external HD, and borrowed broadband in town. Then taking that materiel and transferring it to my gaming machine. So all the above was basically done with the laptop. Short installing DCS world in both machines so I could get the shortcuts in my Start Menu. On my Gamer I just stopped the download so I didn't waste my allotted 50gig a month and then the introduction of the input files after it was all transferred into my gaming PC. I have my actual install "X:\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe" in a separate SSD drive from my OS so if you do that you have that to consider when setting up.
