  1. This is a simulator so I assuming it has nothing to do with balance, but I was reading on the forums a couple of months ago and IIRC a developer said giving the P-51D 150 octane would ruin the fine balance between a Mustang and a Dora.
  2. Flying the P-47 will be quite difficult considering the late 1944 prop competition. At the moment the servers are just spawn, start up your engines and fight. Which is typical low altitude dog fighting and that's exactly what you shouldn't be doing in a P-47. Giving the P-47s some ground targets to attack or some high altitude dog fighting would be nice .
  3. I personally can't wait to fly the P-47D-30. Coming in with 8x50 Cals blazing :pilotfly::joystick: P-47D-30 SL-345 MPH 10,000 - 383 MPH 20,000 - 417 MPH *29,000 - 443 MPH* 32,000 - 435 MPH (Estimated) "High Speed of the airplane is 443 MPH at 29,000 feet." I made some adjustments to Narushima's original Fighter Comparison. http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/p-47/comp-p47dmn.jpg http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/p-47/p-47-differences.jpg "P-47D-30 which has a critical altitude of approximately 24,200 feet and high speed of 445 MPH." 150 Grade Fuel? http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/mustang/Comparative_Fighter_Performance.jpg http://www.wwiiaircraftperformance.org/p-47/P-47-high-speed-30sept44.jpg
