  1. Thanks. Then I know it's not just me. I was going slightly mad over it. :)
  2. I have been trying to make use of the SPA-mode (SPA=spaning=reconnaissance) of the Viggen, but I am unable to make it work. I am able to use the MÅL function, in order to mark a target for coordinates, but I am unable to use the SKU function. From reading the SFI for the Viggen you are supposed to be able to take a fix on a naval target, wait for about 3 minutes, take another fix on the target (that has now moved) and get a heading and a speed of the naval target. I am unable to make it work the way it is described in the SFI, and the DCS manual doesn't really mention it. My question is: are the SPA functions properly implemented yet, and if so how do I use them? Thanks in advance you guys! You are all making this a great community, and we have something awesome going here.
  3. Works great as a kneeboard mod. Very well compiled with a lot of important information that is easy to read and still is only two pages. Another great job by FunkyFranky. Well done!
  4. Afaik the RB15 is independent and self guiding. It should not care about what happens to the launching craft after launch. It would make no sense if a plane launched missiles at a ship and they were to self-destruct if the plane was shot down afterwards.
  5. It currently seems like if you launch a RB15 and crash before the missile hits a target, the missile is destroyed. It just detonates mid-air. I have only tested this by crashing into the ground. I have not tested if there's a different result when you get shot down. I have only done tests in SP. Can anyone else confirm this? Update: After some more testing the RB15 is indeed destroyed if the launching Viggen crashes. If I instead eject, the missile makes a sharp turn upwards or downwards and crashes/explodes. Very strange behaviour. The sam thing applieas for the BK90. If I crash they expplode.
  6. I have had the same experience. Starting using the normal start switch works, but "återstart" only moves the throttle to high pressure fuel valve off.
  7. For starters I am familiar with, and actually like, the way the TILS leads you to the threshold with a 3 degree offset. With that said, it seems like there are some runways that doesn't work properly. So far it seems that the NAV landing guidance and TILS is broken on Anapa runway 22 and Sochi runway 06. I follow the nav system guidance, but it doesn't lead me to a proper landing. Approaching LB1 seems ok on both, but then it craps out on me and leads me astray in a weird way. I'm happy to be proven wrong. Can anyone confirm these errors?

  8. The "E" is for "Egenfix", meaning you have pressed T1 to make a waypoint fix. Make sure you have T0-T1-TV bound in a way that works. The original bind for it doesn't work with the 2-stage trigger on the Warthog, if you have the warthog that is. If not, press your T0 binding to get out of it.
  9. The pre planned flights from the mission editor is no trouble at all, and punching in waypoints manually isn't the issue. Getting the proper QFE readout is. As of last night the kneeboard doesn't update when you punch in coordinates. If we could get barometric data from the F10 map that issue could be tackled. As is, we need to compare altitude differences between sea level and target, and that won't work with dynamic weather.
  10. How come Chucks guide gets stickied straight away, whereas this gem (from which Chuck pulled a lot of his info) doesn't. Please make this thread sticky so it's easy to find in the future.
  11. I do like this solution until we can get a better way to extract QFE data from DCS via the F10 menu or otherwise. Great help. Rep incoming.
  12. Franky has answered your prayers (or at least mine). :) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=181720
  13. That's what I meant as well. Rear position one light. Middle position two lights. Forward position three lights. You read our minds Franky. :)
  14. That is a great idea! I have been using the same switch but flicking it down and back to center to engage/disengage attitude hold and up and back to center to engage/disengage altitude hold. Your idea is a lot better though. :) I am confident Franky can pull this off, since he so far has answered pretty much all of my prayers when it comes to Viggen keybinds.
  15. I did not. That might be the error then.
  16. Did you update the mod then? :) I just saw you did. Thanks! Great job!
  17. Thanks for the answer. I did try to add one of the square waypoints, but it completely broke the ability to do radar fixes. I can't figure out why. Maybe I did it wrong?
  18. There is a keybind made for it, but it doesn't work properly with how the dual stage trigger is configured. Currently it's configured for a "normal" 3-way switch (ON-OFF-ON) which translates into T0-T1-TV. That works great if you use something like the boat switch. If one would like to use it with the dual stage trigger on the warthog however the configuration of it is (OFF-ON-ON), so the code doesn't work properly for it. There are workarounds, but I would like the state to revert to T0 when the trigger is released from T1. Currently it sticks in T1 when the trigger is released. I hope this rant makes sense to you. I think it will once you start flying the plane. :) Once again, great work!
  19. This mod is the best thing since the Viggen was conceived! Thank you good sir! Rep. inbound. One thing to add could be a dual stage trigger for T0-T1-TV where releasing the trigger (for the Warthog) reverts back to T0. Again, great work!
  20. Wow! I'm really really enjoying the Viggen, but I'm swedish so I'm biased. Anyway, I'm sorry if this has been asked in another thread I haven't found. I have been trying to figure out how waypoints work and are designated in the mission editor. Normal waypoints are fine, but how do I add/edit BX points, M points or U points? Is it even doable from the mission editor? I have been unable to find more out in the manual. Any help on how nav points work from the Mission editor is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
  21. It might be really obvious, but how do I vote?
  22. That would be awesome! Great idea.
  23. Yes please! :joystick:
  24. I am very much looking forward to the Viggen release, and when it comes along I will likely be building some panels for weapon selection etc. My question to the developers is if there will be controls supporting toggle switches? And by toggle switches I mean a standard switch, as seen in the cockpits of many planes, with a ON-OFF functionality. There is of course the HOTAS controls of the A-10C that supports this, as well as some of the controls for the Mirage. The Mig 21 gets some of this functionality with mods, but what will the philosophy of the Viggen be? A separate input for each command, like it was in the beginning with the Mig 21? Toggle commands? Support for toggle switches? All of the above? I have already begun planning my panels, so some light on the matter would be much appreciated. Thanks! /Emil
