Looks great you guys. Awesome work LNS!

Landing the Viggen Can be pretty automated if you want to. You can lower the gear lever, and the gear with flaps (or is it slats) will come down automatically at the appropriate speed. You can also enable reversing, which will also engage automatically, and then engage an automatic thrust controller that adjusts thrust to a certain AoA. All that's left then is to concentrate on the stick. Pretty much at least.

Oh sorry. When I said wheels down I meant on the ground, as in weight on them. Will edit. :)
-
You enable it by pulling a switch in the cockpit. The reverse shields will then be lowered when certain paramaters are met. I think they are weight on the rear wheels (might only be one side that's detected). If the nose wheel isn't touching the ground within a few seconds the reversing shields will be raised again. When the shields are lowered you reverse it simply by increasing standard thrust to full mil. I hope that clears it up and that I'm right. If not, please correct me. :)

Finally indeed! It's so close I can taste the jet fuel and burnt treetops.

I also have the same issue. Many of the switches are unlabeled.

[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

Hey Andre and the community. Since the last update it seems like the Simshaker sound module no longer works. It doesn't seem to recieve any input from DCS. Is this a known issue? Thanks in advance! /Emil -
Pants... soiled. Again. So damn awesome! ÄLSKAR DET!!!

I'll just grab a new pair of shorts. If the Viggen release coincides with my Oculus Rift arriving this weekend it will officially be the best weekend ever.
-
The tactical instructions would be a treat. Preferably with as much Viggen in them as possible. :)
-
I honestly don't know. Perhaps I have made it up? Sounded right in my mind, but it might just be me assuming the third pilot would be the "rotetrea". I'm sorry if I caused any confusion.
-
I'd perhaps go with wing? A wingman is "rotetvåa, rotetrea osv." Tricky one.
-
Great summary! My Oculus Rift is in the mail. :)

Great read! Very nice work renhanxue!

It does doesn't it. Feels very descriptive of what is actually being done.

Could "flygläge" be translated into flight situation or flight position perhaps? From the sentence it seems the text is refering to how the plane is situated. There are alot of these tricky words in swedish flight manuals, like flare (before landing) is translated as "övergångsbåge". I guess that could be a mouthfull to non-native Swedish speakers. :D

And apparently the superstall of the Draken was very smooth and pleasant, and not very hard to get out of. :)

Hmmm... The Simple radio client crashes as soon as I try to open the radio overlay. Anybody else had this? [Edit] Reinstall solved it. Sorry.

Ok. I will give it a go and report back.

The profile is selected, and the viewporthandling.lua seems to be edited with the numbers I put into the kneeboard builder. The kneeboard still isn't relocated or resized though. I use 4 screens. Three on top and one below. The three on top are "as one" with nvidia surround, but part of the kneeboard end up outside of the view below my surround screen.

Yes. I do realize that in the real world the Missile would be programmed according to recon data. I was however curious if the thing even could be programmed in flight or in mission (if you were to fly something like blue flag, and the missile can't be programmed in the mission editor). It turns out that can, which makes me very happy. Even if the default settings probably will cover most situations pretty well, it's good to actually (both in game and in real life as it were) be able to tweak it should you want to. Can't wait to sink fleets with this thing. :)

Moving and resizing the kneeboard doesn't effect the kneeboard in game. I wonder if I'm missing anything. Installation seems proper. Which file is it supposed to alter?

In the recently declassified manual, thanks to renhanxue for that, there was a part about the RB15 sea skimming anti ship missile that caught my attention. It described how you could set the behaviour for the RB15 missile, and I took it upon myself to translate it to english. The page I translated is page 92 of the AJS37 part 3 (page 92 of the pdf that is). There is about 9 pages after that describing the various settings with images and such. As far as I can tell these are the settings you can set from the cockpit, and it seems really awesome. And here's a link to it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JVoI4SDFulOEPx3GnQq28QoRWdedKJeEVRCV2aYkXAk/edit?usp=sharing I was very tired, but inspired, at the time, so I apologize for any silly errors in translation and brain farts that might be in here. Also feel free to correct me if I got something wrong. Enjoy

How do you mean delete the old double assignment? I have deleted the old bind and tried rebinding it, but it simply doesn't work. I can see the slider move in the axis tune screen, and binding the slider to another axis works as well. Not binding the slider though. :(
