  1. But they are brandnew:)
  2. Hello again, this weekend I made some testparts of the stick on the stereolithography machine, I wanted to test the demensions of some buttons and the toplid so that I can check them on proportions when comparing them to photos and some videos. I made some pictures of the process so that you can see what rapid prototyping is al about, the rest of the stick will be made in the same manner. First the build in the Stereolithography machine After the build the platform emerges from the Vat I've blurred the customer parts because they wouldn't be happy when I publicized their parts on the internet:music_whistling: After that I let them drain a little After cleaning the parts When the parts are removed from the platform I can remove the support structure and sand the parts to have a smooth surface After that the primer can be applied And to make them look a little authentic, some paint:) Thanks for watching:)
  3. Are you a rapid prototype engineer like I am, in a rapid prototype company, or does your company only make testparts? You say 3D printer, is it an Objet or SLS or SLA, or some other type of machine?
  4. Hehe, yeah for me its totally absent sorry :) And thanks everybody for the nice comments, greatly appreciated
  5. Hi, Finally some updates from me, I had some login problems:( These are still in an early stage, the parts are still solid exept the top lid and the rubber from the left HAT switch. I'm still busy with getting the demensions right because I have no blueprints, only some very good photos of the stick in all angles (Thanks to Wasserfall) When I think the proportions and the dimensions are right I will start to make them hollow, and make some room for the electronics from Joe Kurr. The parting lines will be difficult to create but are necessary when I want to make some silicon molds of the parts. The parts will be made with a Stereolithography machine at work, (I will try to make some pictures of that process) and then make the Silicon molds for the vacuum cast process so I can make some small series of them (again I will make some pictures of it :)) Thanks for watching
