  1. Hi, Thanks, I also think its ГУ-6, do you have any idea what it means? Could it be some kind of serialnumber? And thanks everyone, for the confidence in this project, greatly appreciated:)
  2. Hehe, yes just like wasserfall says your nice comments are of great help, they are really motivating to make this project work.:) Thanks for the offer, :joystick:
  3. Hey looks great ruggbutt
  4. Hey, a small update, I had a little time to draw:) I made the payload armement trigger. I hope I have some more time to draw the coming days. :joystick:
  5. I just saw your post this morning, thank you for coming in, your input is of course of great value, thanks:) :joystick:
  6. Well honestly I haven't desided yet, it was and is a lot of work, but on the other hand the community is very helpfull, so I don't know yet. Maybe a 2D DXF file will be available, or an Edrawings file with the measurement option on. But a full 3D file with the possibility to export it to a machine, I don't know yet . I hope you understand:unsure: :joystick:
  7. Hey, some nice work here:thumbup: keep de updates coming, also with the lights and all. :joystick:
  8. Hey, here's a small update to keep you informed:)
  9. Wow, that is some stick:thumbup: I like the idea with the dampers, but it is very big. I think he should make some construction that the dampers are in an angle of 90 degrees, but maybe he already thought of that. Thanks for the link, I will look there when its up again. As for our project, I'm quit busy at the moment with my daytime job (at the moment it is also an eveningjob:() overtime, overtime, overtime. But in some spare moments I make some time to draw but not much. :joystick:
  10. Well we have plans for both, but both have their problems. With A standalone we have to make a lot more parts, and we have to design the Gimbal ourselves. For our Cockpit we are going to use a standalone but that one may differ from the one we are going to design for a series. With the Cougar we have the problem with the analog Hat switch, in which the circuit in the Cougar grip is not designed for. And when we want to make an easy interchangable grip, we need a big nut for fastening the grip like the original one, and make a circuit board like the original one with the 5 point PS/2 plug as the connection. :joystick:
  11. Hehe, no worries I have seen them all on frugals, and I know that they are no longer available (the top two ones) but I didn't know the todays price of the NXT. Did he ever sold them without the hall sensors, because I didn't see them on the photo on the mods page on frugals.
  12. Can you tell me how much such a NXT mod costs, or is IJ the only one I can ask:)
  13. Well, then this WIP screenshot will make you happy:) :joystick:
  14. Hmm, strange place for an autopilot button, but I think you are right because when I look at the text on the red left button the words look familiar :hmm: the right button on the front of the stick has another function in the article photo, it says "Bring Level" Auto-Pilot engage Data- Link Couple. :joystick:
  15. Well, the designing is hobby of course, but material costs will be the greater part of the cost, and those are unfortunatly not cheap, the silicon for the molds is the most expensive one, but that will be spread out over a series of sticks of course. At the moment I can not give you a cost estimate because I still haven't all the parts of the stick designed yet, and our company normally doesn't sell to private customers, so we have to make another price calculation as normal. With some costs spread over more then one customer, that is not what we normally have to do. And normally we garanty the customer that we can make 20 castings out of one mold, after that the mold gets worn out, but that also depends on the casting resin we use, because one resin is more corrosive for the molds then the other. And of course I don't know what the demand will be for such a stick, but when i look at the pageviews of this thread :shocking: :joystick:
  16. Specnaz: I've red your topic on check six, impressive stuff, is Nicegame the one you are building with? The document you askt for can also by found on your topic, but only the panel buttons are explained in english http://www.checksix-forums.com/showthread.php?t=111644&page=24 by jojo I've got a good photo from -The System- he copiet it from a magazine and it also explains in english what the buttons are for, but I can always use a second opinion:) :joystick:
  17. Well I can tell you that at the moment I'm very busy looking in to that:) :joystick:
  18. Wow, that is quite something you got there:thumbup: At the moment I haven't got the time to read the hole topic but this evening I will. And Thank you for the offer :pilotfly::joystick:
  19. Yes I have thought of that, but at the end it is more work to make any molds of that original one, then to make a 3D drawing because the real one is solid aluminium. When I want to make copies of that, I still need to hollow a casting from the first mold and make all the holes and connection points parting lines etc. by hand to make any plastic copies of them. With a 3D model I can do wat ever I want inside the stick. :joystick:
  20. Thank you very much, dank je wel:thumbup: we had some discription but that was still in russian so this may come in handy. The text imprint in the stick will be in russian to be authentic, but its nice to have a real translation, because the translation websites are not very good
  21. Yes, that is what I do for a living:) making prototypes, if there is a high poly 3D model we can make it. And to roque_blade: Because there never was or is a russian joystick, I still own a Suncom stick which is a F15 Stick, but who knows what the future brings. :joystick:
  22. Yes, I will make molds, Silicon molds to be specific, for the vacuumcast technik. Then I can produce this stick in small series, and the material properties are way better then the Stereolithographie materals, you can compare those resins with normal plastics. For a movie on Vacuumcasting go here http://www.mk-technology.com/schulung.html?&L=2&= This is the company from which we got our Vacuumcast machines
  23. Well thank you:), you have also been busy lately, I saw your thread on making your own cockpit in the 3rd-wing.net forums:thumbup: also a great job.
  24. I know its a little late, but wow what a great model:thumbup:, I always wanted a new Su-27 in Lock-on, the original one is getting old. I hope your personel life is ok, keep up the great work.
  25. Hehe, I know wat you mean, These parts are only for demension testing, the real stick looks like they have modelt them in clay and used the wrong paint that won't stick:) But when the hole stick is ready we will make it look old and dirty:smilewink:
