Wow great stuff Gromich, this is going to be very good

HI JaNko, well yes,... sorry for not letting you guys know about the project status. But my problem at the moment is that our company is growing to much, which is a good thing offcourse:smilewink: ; but it keeps me from doing my private projects (which it still is). In the little spare time I have, I'm not always motivated to go on with this work on the stick, because it's the same kind of work I do all day long (if you know what I mean). But I defanitly going through with this project, Triggerhappy, Wasserfall and Joe Kurr are getting me motivated again with their great work at the moment. C U :joystick:

Wow Trigger , you are really going at lightspeed (unlike me ) you really got the hang of SW I see:smilewink: About the four way switch, wouldn't it be better if the groundplate was curved, that way you always get the same feeling when the shaft or spring (or something else) falls into one of the holes, now it's harder to get the stick in the neutral position then to get it in one of the corners, if you know what I mean. I know it's easy for me to say, but maybe you can make a curved plate from epoxy on a ball of some kind. Keep up the great work Trigger :joystick:

Nice , I'm surelly interested,...... not much news from my site, only that I'm doing some remodelling of the stick because I got some new info from someone who wants to stay anonymous ;).

LOL  Well there isn't much new to show, Kinda busy lately (again) :( ,but the holidays are over so all my colleagues are back again, this will bring back some time for me to do some research and designing. Thanks (I like the Hawk model for Lockon ) , Thank you for the offer, but Joe Kurr also does that for a living, but who knows.

To keep you updated, a bigger update this time :D I've been busy with the radar skew button, designing the housing for the ministick and such. 1 Complete assembled in the stick. 2 Exploded view 01 3 Exploded view 02 4 Time to build some test parts in the stereolithografie machine. (This time in the machine with the transparant resin). 5 The completed parts, the stick and the rubber are allready spraypainted in this picture. 6 Offcourse to test the rubber we have to make a silicon mould of the stereolithografie part, so it's time to prepare this part for mould building. 7 Completed a simple casing to cast the silicon. 8 Casting the composite silicon with the silicon dispenser machine. 9 After the silicon is hardened, we can open the mould with an operating knife, the wave patterns and the metal rods are there to insure a good alignment of the mould layers. 10 After the mould is heated to 70 degrees celsius we can cast the composite polyurethane rubber into the silicon mould in the vacuum chamber, we are looking through a 6 cm thick glass in this picture. 11 And after hardening in the oven for an hour at 70 degrees celsius we can demould the casting and cut off the casting tree. Here you can see a complete assembled "Radar skew" 12 Another view, this time with the button rotated to the upper left corner, the rubber seems to do it's job :) Thanks for watching, see you :joystick:

Hey I see you got your camera working again :D, keep up the great work  -
No not really, I'm very busy with my daytime job at the moment, lots of overtime :(
-
Thanks for the info :), but that is what I ment, BVR as in (Beyond visual range) -> Long range. And CCM as in (Close Combat Mode) -> short range. I only didn't mention the weapon selection part :). The grip is not going to be in aluminium but in a composite resin, you have two look at page 11 of this thread there's a link to a video of the manufacturing proces, and on page 9 are photos of how I will make the masters for the moulds.

HPO replied to VMFA-Blaze's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Congrats with your new rig that thing must be flying :) -
Well the cockpit itself is a very longterm plan. Wasserfall is firstly going to make one for himself, this is at the moment all done by hand craftmanship and he hasn't that much time lately (Correct me if I'm wrong Wasserfall :)). :joystick:
-
Well, I think you are right, but this is also our intension because a ministick also has a button when pressed. :joystick:

Here it is. :joystick:
