  1. further reading. When I start DCS normally and it does its standard update search, the window closes and nothing happens. But when I want to install the Dora or put a -repair behind the path, it times out.

  6. RWR scaling Not sure if this is a bug/room for improvement, but the RWR symbols are darn close to the center which makes it practically impossible to make out a bearing. Especially disadvantagous is a dogfight.
  7. For instance, the first Video, at 1:25, you decide to turn around to face the bogeys. This is a good example of what I mean. I would perhaps split S 180° and come back up to them. Other than that, it was some very nice gunnery!

  9. I can roll fine and I changed everything in controls so that the axis of my Rudder pedals, throttle and joystick don't overlap. Still, neither the thrust nor the pitch can be cotrolled. I just harpoon into the ground eventually. I have a TM HOTAS and combat pedals.

  12. As described in the title. It looks as if I'm looking at a parallel map, 100 miles beyond the river.
  13. Mission 3 of Georgian Hammer has some waypoint errors. First, once the armored column that needs to arrive at the airfield reaches a certain point, it stops and no longer advances. Comms won't let me bring up the F10 Menu. Also, the F16s create a traffic jam, as seen in the screenshot.

  16. Second time now that the game crashes just as I started attacking the last group of BMPs. I let off a Maverick, turn 180° to see it hit and after 10 seconds the game crashes. Logs.rar
  17. In the mission 'In the weeds' (which is one nasty mission), my wingman doesn't dive down to avoid the SA 11 sites on the far side of the hills. He basically goes defensive, runs out of chaff and gets shot down eventually. Meanwhile I'm left alone to take out more than a dozen enemy vehicles. Will the concept of terrain masking ever be implemented into the AI? Edit: At least some kind of low level formation flight where the wingman sticks to right at 50 AGL.
  18. I never disputed repeatability, just that I had no apparent damages save for the fuel pumps and a fuel tank leak that self sealed after a minute. The falconBMS style black smoke (which IMHO is a disgrace to modern graphical effects) was ever only visible to my wingman. I concur that it is a multiplayer issue. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

  20. I'm not Concerned with wing perforation. That is normal when hit. I'm talking about the smoke trail that was visible for him and not for me. Yes, I had damage and my wing fuel valves failed. But not being able to see your own smoke is quite an issue. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

  22. A plane is a plane and while the hawg is tough, it is far from invincible. Direct engine hits from behind into the exhaust ought to do some serious damage, no matter the calibre. Also, I'm not so sure that the machine guns are overpowered. After all, we are talking about ~50. cal. What is certain though is the fact that BMPs and tanks are friggin snipers. I'd imagine that a plane zooming at 250mph is a bit harder to hit without radar guidance seen on regular AAA tanks. But that is a different story.
  23. I'm sporting a 980ti and I have similar fps drops, albeit the fact that it seems to be the TGP in general. Whenever I bring it up in an MFCD, I drop from say 110 to 70. switching to FLIR I drop another 10fps.
  24. a perfect example of what I'm talking about. It's merely a texture in the wing. Admitted, its way more performance effective, yet I can't help but think that it dampens the immersion a bit.
