  1. I modified the mission to be completable, in this version the troops will deploy despite 101 not landing (I guess they are fast-roping). https://www.dropbox.com/s/er7cjnu6z48ktmd/en_SpringMi8-17.miz?dl=0
  2. At the point where 101 is supposed to land and drop off troops, it doesn't land, but just hovers there forever.
  3. I have included a partial fix for this in the new version of my chat enhancer mod. The cursor should not disappear but it might become an arrow instead of a +. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=149832
  4. I added a new version 0.7 compatible with 1.5.5.58642 Beta. Users not running the beta should continue to use version 0.6.
  5. This seems to be related to the chat window, possibly caused by opening the chat window when the radio menu is visible.
  6. In MissionEditor\modules\mul_chat.lua, at lines 263, 561 and 582.
  7. I updated the mod with a couple of fixes: Fixed position of anchor point information. Fixed position of airspeed tape invalid required speed indicator "RXXX".
  8. I don't know what you mean by "anchor", but the ladder and all reticles are deliberately unchanged. Otherwise everything would be inaccurate.
  9. No, that would be silly.
  10. There are no Lua scripts for FC3 aircraft HUDs, so no.
  11. I made a mod to move up the symbology 1 degree, see here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=174583
  12. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2092525/ This mod moves the A-10C HUD's static symbology (text, compass, tapes, etc) up by 1 degree. This matches gun camera footage and makes the HUD easier to see when using non-default viewpoints. Passes the integrity check. I have not tested this mod that extensively yet, so please post here if you encounter any HUD glitches.
  13. Actually, I must retract my statement that the DCS HUD is 100% accurate. Although the scaling is correct, it seems that the text and compass in the DCS HUD is 1 degree lower than it should be (based on gun camera footage). Fixing this could make it a bit easier to get the full HUD in view.
  14. And here's one for the head position at the "zero" point.
  15. Very well, time to settle this once and for all. I took orthographic screenshots from model viewer and derived the viewing angles from a neutral eye position: I also went into DCS and moved the view position to roughly where it is in the diagram. The angles match up almost exactly! Amazing.
  16. In researching this issue, I have discovered a rare photo of an actual A-10 HUD. Notice that, yes, the HUD is only partially visible. Also, by comparing gun camera footage to the sim, I can confirm that the angular width of the HUD symbology is 100% accurate.
  17. Yes, try my mod. I also have a new one called Briefing Size Doubler. Find the mods here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=149832 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=173907 As the author of these mods, I can tell you that rewriting the entire UI to be scalable would be a ton of work. What they could do however, would be to render the UI at a lower resolution and then upscale it to the monitor resolution. It would be pixelated but better than nothing.
  18. The HUD in the sim is accurate. In real life the pilots do in fact have to lean forward to see the entire HUD. See this photo:
  19. One thing I noticed is that the TGP does not lase when slaved to a SPI. You have to put it in point or area track mode. This happened to me the first time I dropped a bomb in that mission, maybe it happened to you?
  20. OK, I added a 1.5x size version to the mod.
  21. There are also troops on the ground in front of the building.
  22. Nope, I removed all mods, disabled Tacview and ran the repair tool, but the bug still occurs.
  23. In this mission, if I try to order my flight to attack, nothing happens and the radio menu becomes stuck on that page permanently. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start mission 5 2. Fly to Honi 3. Attempt to order your flight to attack ground targets
  24. If you mean the clouds, that is rendered in real time.
  25. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2080539/ This mod doubles the size of the mission briefing screen. New:"Briefing Size 1.5x" or "Briefing Size 1.33x" mod is suitable for 1080p. Installation: Copy the "Briefing Size Doubler", "Briefing Size 1.5x", or "Briefing Size 1.33x" folder into your JSGME mods folder and enable it.
