Not as mutch as F-22 and F-35 since there is more documentation on airdynamics.

"The F-15 Multistage Improvement Program (MSIP) was initiated in February 1983 with the first production MSIP F-15C produced in 1985. Improvements included an upgraded central computer; a Programmable Armament Control Set, allowing for advanced versions of the AIM-7, AIM-9, and AIM-120A missiles; and an expanded Tactical Electronic Warfare System that provides improvements to the ALR-56C radar warning receiver and ALQ-135 countermeasure set. (The final 43 F-15Cs included the enhanced-capability Hughes APG-70 radar, which was developed for the F-15E. These 43 F-15Cs with APG-70 radar are sometimes referred as Enhanced Eagles. Earlier MSIP F-15Cs with the APG-63 were upgraded to the APG-63(V)1 to significantly improve maintainability and enable performance similar to the APG-70. Existing F-15s were retrofitted with these improvements.") That should be a fear fight Su-27S vs F-15C stock models.

Sad news Wags. You really know how to make Su-27 fanboys happy and motivated. :censored:
-
What kind of poll is that, It seem the one who made it has little understanding about this aircrafts, They should not be in same poll since its aicrafts from different classes., Moderators I would like you to stop polls that are not giving anything, rather than confusion. polls should be more accurate. Su-30MK,MIG-21MF and Mig-23 lol, how can you put this aircrafts in same pool.

As much as you do on Ka-50s datalink. By the way, you do not prove your point by telling me that ED has the documentation. How would I know that you have access to it.
-
Why I connected su-33 to F-15s datalink is because we don't know anything about when this new upgrades were as standard or what this upgrades were capable of.
-
like I told you GG, there is more info on R-27 and R-73 which have more documentation public than for example aim-120A/aim-9. So actually we are making R-27 realistic while aim-120 making guises by how much it would be better. Pure speculations and not all of them do I agree whit. But thats what we all have to live with. I know your answer GG, If we knew it would appear to be even better, strange that ED didn't make missiles more effective but rather less effective compared to your claims from the past that missiles should hitt even better than FC1 and FC2. Same approach as you take to explain Su-33s upgrades is the way I would describe F-15s datalink, would be hard to model it.

Still waiting for your prove on F-15 datalink lunaticfringe. Make another thread and tell me how many squads have it and witch, how does it operate, would be good to have a manual or any legit document. I jumped in because I saw you talk about how good F-15 is in Su-27 thread. So I told you the biggest difference from stock models that you refuse to accept. Go and search on the net then, or ask someone who has more knowledge than me if you don't believe me. GG saying F-15C has it as standard, from which documentation, from what year? As i understand we were comparing stock models of Su-27S and F-15C. No updates there between that was made in 2005-2013. By then there were other aircraft flying that could take upon any version of F-15. Would be interesting to know as well where to find the AoA limiter and how f15 handle without it, As I understand, The limits are not in high AoA rather than maintaining control after the maneuver. Its about aerodynamics that can handle airflow that occurs in such high AoA conditions. Draken could make cobras as well. Here is a video of it in demonstration. But it was not as controllable as on Su-27 which forced the pilots only execute such maneuvers at safe altitudes. My belief is that biggest obstacles are the engines and airframe structure. Watch from 1:50, at 2.12 I believe the pilot loses control over the aircraft.

First time I see this video, must be old news for those who are into F35, thought I might as well share it for those who missed it.

I would say mirmidon have thicker skin than you. since he provided references to all his beliefs in a Su-27 thread, where you started to tell people that F-15 have even better features whit no ducumentation behind it, or logic for that matter:) I told you to start F-15 thread where you could discuss F-15C wishes. No need to jump on people because they believe in something you don't. You might get bitten back by the victim:doh:

Su-27SM need accurate AFM and how avionics is presented to the pilot. The rest is adjudicated guises where parameters are taken from known facts that can not really be proven, there is almost no info on Aim-120C/R-77 compere to R-27/Aim-7, still they were implemented in DCS to simulate tactics of aircrafts that employ them.
-
Su-27SM which stand for Su-27S(modernised) is multirole fighter that came after Su-27S. It would be like a dream to get my hands on that machine which has all capabilities mentioned above. It actually will be easier to model more accurate Su-27SM AFM because it will be possible to compare it to EDs Su-27S AFM. No offence but ED strongest side is in making good fly dynamics which they proved since Su-25.
-
Me to, Lets hope we get it back soon enough. Wags mentioned that ED are aware of the Su-27 TWS problems. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1826988&postcount=474

Downloading? You never know, EOS or TWS on Su-27 might work. Never give up the hope :)

"НАСУ its the automatic guide ground based system. It could take control of the Su-27 flight guiding in automatic mode in a interception course. Also this system can take control of the Su-27 radar in automatic mode. ( the pilot don´t need to control de radar )." This is where FC3 Su-27 TWS gets broken, ED tried to model automatic lock in TWS which is made by computer in FC3. While in real life the lock is made by "HACY" where a human make decisions what to lock or not by closely following action of events and being involved in flights communication. Its very important that Su-27 get back opportunity to track targets in TWS without locking them automaticly, if there is automatic lock there must be manual as well. And since we don't have human controlled GCI the lock would be executed by the pilot not ground control. When my home computer making decisions on what to lock puts me in a big disadvantage compared to manual lock in TWS. I just can't understand why logic could not be applied to get around this problem we have now whit Su-27 TWS,

Interesting, thank you for translation.

You have to accept that I dont agree whit your nonsence that you dont have any documentation on. Take your F-15 mafia attetude to anothere thread. you have been insulting people since you started.
-
:)
-
Unfortunately you have not given anything to this conversation then telling everyone that F-15 has it as well, read the thread its about Su-27.
-
I assume radar/IR guided missiles would suffer more by ground clutter then clouds. The lunch is executed at quite low altitude.
-
Cant find anything about datalink in Su-27Sk manual, was looking for something called ALM-1, ALM-4/SPK-68, SPK-75 which I belive are the names connected to Su-27S datalink.
-
Im talking about that it would be great addition to Su-27 capabilities if it had modeled data link/EOS/TWS/AFM Cobra and missiles that you can not evade by making 60 degrees pincer. If you want to bring in upgraded versions it would be great to face them at least in Su-27SM or even better. Since in my opinion its getting old to say that Russians had only 5 aircrafts of this particular type. The point here is that they had it, same as you try to convince me that F-15 had datalink.
-
The problem here is if It would be Russian datalink that was not as standard then you would claim with all you have not to implement it in Su-27, not to mention that you can not find it in manual. I will have more competent people in avionics then me valuing your info on F-15 datalink.
-
I have export version, is not the same as Russian. Ill try to dig up something interesting. You can aswell find datalink panel in FC3 Su-27 cockpit.
-
I would like to point out that datalink for DCS Su-27S/SM is possible to model since we know how datalink panel look. Which features data link have would be very hard to know really, So taking a bias position there is pointless. Same as there is more R-27 data compared to aim-120. So there will be educated guesses done again to the point where dreams allow.
