  5. leapMotion implementation possibility Cbuchner and SDraw are two GitHub’ s drivers that allow LeapMotion to be integrated in steamvr as vr controllers. DCLeap is more a VR mouse controller than virtual hands. This is like MilesD but completely software except the LeapMotion device. I’m adding some interaction features like salute gesture to catapult shoot, thumb up to catapult align. I’m currently working on a éjection command.
  6. Here’s my complete device. As you can see my leap motion is in front the two cameras and there is no problem. You can purchase a support for the LeapMotion and as you can see it’s curved, it was built to fit the oculus shape. With LeapMotion you can download both cbuchner and sdraw pilots. These allow you to use LeapMotion as true vr controllers, so you can activate vr hands in dcs. I don’t like the way we have to use vr hands in DCS (pointing the ray to the knob or switch), that’s why I’m developing DCLeap

  8. You will have to deal with both hardware and software. First of all, hardware, you will have to mount your LeapMotion device as head mounted and not desktop because DCLeap is coded with head mount specification. For the software, as DCLeap used SteamVr support, you will have to launch SteamVr and make DCS to launch in non VR mod. I don’t know if it is possible. Kariyann

  15. Indeed, while hands are disabled there can be additional clicks. I’ve solved this issue and I plan to release a v0.6 maybe this evening (European west time).

  19. Based on my previous work, I created a new solution. This is not a full VR solution as the first one, this is more a VR mouse with some handsignals commands. Currently mouse is working nicely, I’m continuing some tweaking but I expect a release in the next weeks. Clicks based on pinch and index movements. About handsignals I succeeded in command catapult launch with salute gesture, I’m working on ejection command,power supply and catapult alignement. Hope coming back soon
  20. SOLVED After looking for an answer in all logs created by these crashes, I found a common trouble. Some*.edm models seems to be altered in my version despite all the repair command I launched. 1) So, in the log file, I located the models : ERROR SECURITYCONTROL: Manifest hash check failed for file 'models/oh-58d_lod1.edm' ERROR SECURITYCONTROL: Manifest hash check failed for file 'models/oh-58d_lod2.edm' 2) I deleted these models in my DCS install 3) Run DCS_updater repair command 4) Enjoyed DCS without crash. After that I tried another mission, new crash, new model identified, deleted, repaired and these mission is OK. Hope this can be useful to someone.
  21. Hi everybody, I'm experiencing a strange issue on some missions (UH1 Cold and Start training mission, mission 11 M2000C Red Flag Campaign). I didn't test all missions but while launching these two, crash occurred during loading screen "Waiting for pooled tasks 1". Here is the debug log : I tried to : - delete /saved Games/DCS folder --> NO JOY - delete unofficial mods --> NO JOY - lowering graphics settings --> NO JOY - launching in non VR --> NO JOY - repairing DCS install --> NO JOY - reinstalling GC drivers --> NO JOY - reinstalling Microsoft Visual Studio C++ Redistributable 2017-2019 -- > NO JOY I don't understand what is the cause of this issue, maybe something contained in these specifics missions ? Don't know. Any idea ? It's a shame cause currently this issue not allow me to continue the M2000 Red Flag campaign. Thanks
  22. Hi everybody, I stopped this program cause I finally found it was not appropriate to DCS, especially considering World scaling. I think a « mix » leap motion and hardware button would be more appropriate. Nevertheless I could put my project in this thread if someone want to continue this one.

  24. But you need to be connected to your mobile provider network, else you would not be able to mount your phone as WiFi hotspot.
  25. I think it’s not possible as in offline mode multiplayer is not available so it’s not possible to create a server. In online mode server creation process automatically fill IP address with public host address, and it’s not possible to force Private IP address... that’s why I conclude that it is not possible to create a true LAN server, without a hack. And I will not be the guy who made this.
