  1. @edmuss, I am on a 3080 & G2 and just wondering about using the RTSS, as per your edit in main post regarding locking it, and your observations when you ran it that way. .. if setting framerate to 45, was that with also setting OXRDT to 100%, MR disabled, and OXRTK disabled? Or was that also with OXRTK with NIS 100%, frames unlocked? And your references to resolution.. in game or ? Apologies, but I get bogged down in details sometimes.
  2. Though I rarely install anything under c:/program files../ unless I have too, I saw it mentioned that having DCS under there can be problematic if you have it there.
  3. In the G2 VR it was quite a difference at just defaults, for me anyway, all colors are much better, bluer sky, greener grass, reds... clouds... everything got much crisper, and brighter. Terrain below looked more look the monitor for clarity. I did turn on LumaSharpen too at defaults. Then after that put in VRPerfKit_FFR set to CAS, using Speed-of-heat's settings from his prior post, and better Framerate. This is the best I have seen it in VR so far for sure. Now wondering about the <VR Shaders Mod for better performance> option...
  4. Been playing around with the Reshade just by itself... LumaSharpen, etc. Has anyone played around with the Technicolor2.fx... gives some more color and brightness, seems to give more clarity.
  5. On a cleaned up install I am going to push these in with modmanfx and try it... and was wondering if most are also using keygetys VR Shaders mod as well?
  6. @ShaunX I notice in the other files for other reshade and variants there is always a ReShadePreset.ini, would i just rename your test1.ini to that to use as is, or ?
  7. @speed-of-heat are you using Simplex with these 2 as well?
  8. What are the best VR mod combos to use? I applied the VRPerfKit, instead of OpenFSR, the VR Shaders mod for 2.7.9.17830, and the Shadows Reduced Frame Rate Impact. I read about others but not at all sure what else would benefit/work? Maybe also the orig Reshade, or heat's Sharper Eye? And if one of those also, from what I understand would need to rename the dxgi.dll since PerfKit also has it. And what about 3Dmigoto? Is that also an option to VRPerfkit?
  9. Hi. Starting to see the need for the mod manager for this, and these various mods for VR, etc. What is the better one to use? And will work for MSFS2020 as well... you know, for when I feel like driving a bus...
  10. It didnt show it the readme but before deploying the VR Shaders, should be empty the fxo/metashaders?
  11. @TED, I thought if we are using STEAMVR we set the WMR settings to use STEAMVR per-app, not disabled? Or do you use disabled in wmr and not use the per app settings in steamvr settings, just the settings for video?
  12. @Steel Jaw, hello to a fellow Canuck. Concerning this particular issue that I asked about... I think not? New to VR myself, though I think I read that optionally Oculus stuff can be run thru SteamVR... there may be benefits in doing so to take advantage of SteamVR motion smoothing, etc....
  13. Been catching up on set up stuff for VR & a G2... not sure what is current practice for this -> do you edit that WMR file default.vrsettings, commenting out the "motionReprojectionMode" line, or leave that alone and just set in OpenVRSettingsUX.exe GUI to select SteamVR per app?
