  1. My guess is that it is a sideffect of some other fix. Not entirely sure. Btw with the Fc2 patch installed it IS possible to bug a target tws even though he has ECM on as long as you have burnthough, unlike both std 2.0 and 1.12 :)
  2. I run leavu2 on my other computer, which has gtx260 and win7 64 bit, no problems at all.. NICE! What about making the leavu screens bigger? Like full screen :D

For the silly plot. It is great to have some feedback :)
  4. Your error.log shows no leavu related errors, but that only means it isnt related to the lua export. Leavu Crashes? I can run leavu for many hours straight, havent had a single crash or disconnect yet. I need to know exactly what you mean with "crash the Leavu2". Is it CTD, CTD without msg, bluescreen, gamecrash? What is your setup? What computers do what, how many monitors for the game and leavu ec. The only way I ever got leavu to crash was with Catalyst drivers 10.1 and 10.2 (which have known OpenGL issues). With 9.12 or 10.3 it works fine. To get debug console, run leavu by "java -jar leavu.jar" from cmd console.

HAWX can be a lot of fun :). Certainly isn't what we would call a sim, but that doesn't mean it cant be fun!
  6. Check firewalls for incoming ports if leavu client doesn't connect to the sim. You can also try a different sim port (you must also set this in netSec.lua)
  7. I always use mouse for that, mouse works fine for me. Perfectly linear response (and I am very picky about this, I used to play a lot of shooters where that was essential =))
  8. OK i see what you mean, the keyboard input for TDC control is accelerated in A10. However mouse input is not accelerated if axis bound. I see you need the mouse for looking around, hmm...not sure what you can do in that case.
  9. Hmm... I tried buttons and axis, worked fine for me. My mouse control seemed linear. If mouse is slow you can increase it by axis tune in the controls menu
  10. hmm. I dont have this problem. I checked controls for Su25, 25T and A10, and test flew the 25T and A10, they work for me. (all of them I mapped axis to TDC) What AC did you have trouble with? Did you copy your input folder from unpatched to patched fc2? (this may have caused trouble because some control stuff were changed)
  11. Maybe you already knew, but this is actually how the real F-15 operates. In the real F-15 the flaps will auto retract above 250 kts and automatically come back down when you drop below 240. Kind of confusing :), but straight out of the flight manual.
  12. If you are on windows 64 bit you need to put it in SysWoW64 I think.
  13. The problems were below M 0.4 and especially if you had flaps out, you could do some crazy turns in the unpatched version :P. Above that speed you wouldn't exceed the real F-15 performance. With the patch the issues below 0.4 should be solved.
  14. Thanks Viper, ill add it to the main post
  15. Yeah I have to recompile my luakeys.dll at some point so it doesnt require that file. Problem is that I cannot find my source code :D
  16. Do you have numlock on? (must have on) Do you have any errors in /Temp/Errors.log or /Temp/error.log?
  17. Closed the Leavu development thread, this release-thread will be the only leavu thread.
  18. And, oh, any errors you find please report. When you report errors it is good if you also paste the contents of /Temp/Errors.log and /Temp/error.log. Even better, if you can run Leavu client in console mode, so you get debug messages, that would be the best.

    Programming

C/C++ is the best choice for starting to program imo :). If you know cpp, you can understand many "simpler" languages so much better.
  20. Everything is now under /Leavu2/ folder. Please disregard timestamp for creation of the release zip
  21. Small advantage of being on the testers team is that I can make the mod update ready to be released at the same time as ED releases the game's patch. I have been sitting on it for a week, making small enhancements and updates :)
  22. OK new ERI is out now, check main post in 3 minutes!

    C++ info.

I think the best way is to come up with some project where you want to use it. For me it was a server control software called amract. I wrote a program that read mp log files and sent keyboard input to the game to control the server. It is not needed anymore, but I think the best way to learn a programming language is to come up with a project that you need the langage for. Then find an IDE and some reference pages where you can look up methods etc, and have some friends you can ask every now and then :)
  24. no, not possible with fc2 architecture.
  25. It is nautical miles, not "normal miles". Your table should be something like : AIM-120C - 23 miles (42.6 km) AIM-120B - 20 miles (37 km) R-27ER - 46 km R-27ET - 6 km* R-77 - 40 km 1 nautical mile = 1.85200 kilometers 1 mile = 1.609344 kilometers .
