  2. I didn't fire any ordinance, just did a quick check on the TPOD, seemed to work okay, did not switch to the TV for me, is it happening when you fire something?
  3. This can happen if you originally use the TV and don't flip it back to INS mode before using the TPOD. Are you saying that you never touched the TV and tried to slew the TPOD and it switched to the TV?
  4. I tested today, still had to recycle the sidearm selection in the stores menu in order to get a lock, still locked after I turned away from target 180 degrees and was still able to fire a sidearm and it turned towards the target. Sidearms seem to be just as finicky as before to me. Cannot find this volume knob described am I blind, I feel embarrassed because I've been flying this AV-8B since day one and I cant find it for the life of me LoL.

  6. Hey guys, used to be able to fix the whole icons on the map being out of sync when zooming in and out by unchecking the scale GUI box, no with it checked or unchecked, F10 map is screwy, just after todays update. Anyone else experiencing this?

Attendance policy is 2 nights a month. Looking for pilots willing to uphold the above attendance policy and who enjoy a lot more structure than just flying for casual play. We try to follow the NATOPS and VMAT-203 FSG generally, with adjustments to what is practical and works in DCS currently as an early access model.   8. Tests I ran today, 1. Low altitude, around 700 to 710 JPT 109% RPM, 15 minutes, received left of UFC 15s warning for JPT over limit warning, DECS adjusting for JPT to 710, RPM was brought down to 97% rpm. 2. Repeated 1 same result 3. High altitude, where JPT stayed at 640 at 109% RPM, same result, 15 minutes on the dot, JPT increased all the sudden, 15s warning on left UFC warning light, then JPT reduced to 710, RPM at 97%.
  9. Maximum thrust profile forces JPT to stay at 710 if you are using decs. If I read that manual correctly says that water won't start unless I can reach 105 rpm or more, so if JPT limited to less than 105 % no water then. Interesting....
  10. Ahh, but there is a difference between combat at 111 and normal lift at 111, that might've been the problem why my engine was degrading, I didn't use combat when using 111, I was in a slow turn. However, would this disable the water from engaging still?
  11. As I said, don't think I maxed out the limits, certainly didn't go 109 anywhere near 15 minutes, and 111 anywhere near 10 min. And yes, if I run out of water I would be getting warnings and such that I am out, it stayed at 500.

Yep problem I have is that I get jpt limited to 710 at some point when using maximum thrust profile, that's fine should do that, but then when I go to land, say I'm stuck at 102 rpm or little less because of jpt, I flip the water switch and it's like 50 50 chance that the water engages or not. Last night was getting JPT limited so I couldn't do more than 98 rpm, didn't think I blew the limits, so when I came in for slow landing, flipped my water on and nothing happened, water would not engage, even placed water in h2o mode and then tried land mode, no response. Is there a point where the harrier refuses to allow you to use water?

  14. Yep, wish we could get some official confirmation that this issue is being worked because its annoying having a module that I like so much but cant put into multiplayer because of this issue.
  15. Yep just made a mission and they work now, they must've fixed something in that last update because they weren't doing anything last time I tried to do the same exact thing. Good! I can make a bomber escort mission again!

  17. Yah the maneuvering definitely affects it, but does that mean the time limit guideline is for if you stay in the green or is that out of green limit. Cause yes I've gone around that same time frame full Max power, but sometimes at 40 to 50 minutes engine still seize on me, so it made me wonder if it was more of.time limit that once exceeded, your engine is worn and will seize if further abuse is applied.
  18. So we are all aware of the P51D's engine baby sitting required. I've gotten to the point that I can usually keep the instruments like oil and radiator cooling in the green. However I still cook the engine on occasion using Max 3000rpm 61 manifold sometimes, and also WEP. I think I don't understand the limits on the right side of the canopy, so I'm hoping for some clarification. When it says 15 minutes for Max 3000rpm and 61 manifold, does that mean total time or continuous time, as in say I stayed in that setting for the full 15 and then stopped and went back to Max continuous, does this mean that after a while the engine will be prepared for another 15 minutes of abuse, or that after I used my fifteen minutes I better never go to that setting again? I assume WEP would be identical in whatever behavior is correct? Anyone know how it works?
  19. Hey just wondering when someone gets a chance, try WWII carpet bombing in DCS 2.5 with B17 to see if it works for them, I just tried a mission I did a little bit ago and the bombers now just drop one bomb at a time starting from the leader back.

  21. Yep, permanent laser spot, the TGP is great for scouting out targets though, much better than the DMT tv so I am glad to be able to do that with the TDC instead of the osb buttons. Was a little excited to be able to use GBU 12's, but because the laser stay permanent will have to wait till that gets fixed so I am not putting 1688 laser spots everywhere. Thanks for the surprise though! Hope that laser thing is easy to fix!

Gotcha, I was using your MIST framework and also master controls MOOSE framework to try it out, but I realized that I didn't quite understand LUA and how the SSE uses it to do its stuff, figured it would be beneficial to try to do some basic stuff from scratch and then when I've finally pulled all my hair out in frustration, switch over to MIST or MOOSE so I can fully appreciate it, and have some background on how its really doing the magic.
  24. Question if you are willing to riddle me this, all the units I make in the Me seem to have the table generated. I can access certain things like their name, type, position, and so on like this: sUGKSF51_NAME = StaticObject.getByName('UGKS Static F5 #001'):getName() sUGKSF51_TYPE = StaticObject.getByName('UGKS Static F5 #001'):getTypeName() sUGKSF51_POS = StaticObject.getByName('UGKS Static F5 #001'):getPoint() My question is if there is a way to get other table properties of created units. Like say ["heading"] for example to get the heading of a unit or static object? I have tried this: sUGKSF51_HDG = StaticObject.getByName('UGKS Static F5 #001').heading but that leads to an error.
