No recoil here either...note the HVAR rockets in the start of the film.

See the video here, I don't see any recoil until the guns start firing.

That's surprising because most military airplane flight manuals are fairly accurate with this kind of thing, especially considering how much testing is done on the subjects contained in them. But what do I know...

Just looking at this video there does seem to be several things going on here. First off I know its not a mustang... It looks like the first effect is an increase in speed from the rocket motors firing, followed by a reduction in parasitic drag as the rocket leaves the airframe. This asymmetrical drag although momentary may force a "recoil-esque" feel in the controls. That all being said (not an expert here) I do think the effects of firing the rockets on the Mustang may be a bit overstated.

Assuming with the release of the F-14 and/or the F/A-18 that we get an updated CVN can we also expect to have precision instrument approach capabilities associated with that said CVN? Such as the ICLS, LLS, PAR, and will we also have a FLOLS, IFOLS, or the MOVLAS?
