  1. Since we don't know how long they already have been working on the F-35 and corresponding core features, such a statement is actually pointless...
  2. There are 6 months until January, but 17 months until December...
  3. The F-16 left Early Access with the last major patch.
  4. That is not the point. It cannot be that after such a long time the module does not have a proper manual, especially since supposedly only proofreading is required (since January 2024)...
  5. Mi-24 owners leave the room...
  6. So I interpret that as "I think it's wrong, but clearly can't prove it and leave it at that"...
  7. The button pressure cannot change anything, as the water injection is already activated at full throttle (is automatically activated at full throttle)... Without water injection, you should not reach 57.5 MP. But you reach the value, so the water injection is probably implemented The button is not a "turbo" button that increases the speed. It allows higher MP values by injecting a mixture of water and methanol. So if 57.5 MP is reached at full throttle, this only happens because the water injection has been activated. What happens in the P-47 when you activate the injection (with a button), happens in the F4U when you push the throttle lever all the way forward.
  8. I dare to doubt that and will only believe it when you show me where they confirm this exactly. If it really only gets 54MP at 20k ft, then something is fundamentally wrong. At sea level, you can get 57.5 without any problems and without pressing an extra button. So if M3 really did implement it the way you think they did, there must be a confirmation somewhere from M3 (which I don't believe, because I don't see any change when I press this button at full throttle - how could I, since the water injection is already activated at full throttle), otherwise it is quite reasonable to assume that M3 implemented it realistically.
  9. Water injection is activated when the throttle lever is pushed all the way forward (over the deten, all the way to the front).
  10. There is no “On / Off” button for the water injection. You can operate this small microswitch with a screwdriver, for example. However, this is only intended for maintenance purposes, e.g. to fill the system. In flight, this microswitch is activated automatically by pushing the thrust lever all the way forward.
  11. if you get 57" MP at sea level, there is no reason to assume that water injection is not implemented. WEP is MIL + water injection. And that should give you pretty much 57“ MP (57.5” to be exact).
  12. Your assumption that there is a problem with the magnification of the Sniper Pod is based on the assumption that the Lightning Pod is implemented correctly. I would rather assume that the Sniper Pod is implemented correctly and the Lightning incorrectly. In addition, a very high (certainly digital) magnification at some point no longer brings any added value, because the image quality is then so poor that you can no longer recognise anything. This is not even taken into account in the current Lightning Pod.
  13. What I suggested above was not so much for me, but for the players who want to hold on to the high and rather unrealistic image quality of the Lightning Pod. As far as I'm concerned, I could do without the Lightning completely and use a Lantirn as an "older" alternative instead. But yes, of course your method works much more easily (and already does).
