  1. Amazing work! Quick question though, do you have to have DCS running in a window for it to be on top? I tried fullscreen, and DCS was on top of it... NEVERMIND! I just used the binaries. Is there any plan to make it so bogies will show up when you bug them in the VSD? Maybe even a MIDS connection?? :)
  2. Thanks reaper. That helps a lot.
  3. Bump? I'm trying to do this too.
  4. In the ME, I know its possible to control the player's score with triggers, otherwise you'd never end up with the right amount to go where you want to go in the campaign. The problem is, I can't figure out how to tell DCS what the player's score is supposed to be. Let's suppose I'm having a bomber destroy a runway. How do I set the 'bomb in zone' trigger to give the player a score I want even when the player is in an f-15c and has only shot down 2 mig-29's, for a total of much less then, say, 50 points?
  5. I tried the xplosion method, but it didn't really do anything. I even tried seeting in to 10,000 but even some tanks I put right next to the runway for testing purposes survived, eventhough they were only about 100m from the explosion center. I like the idea of putting destroyed planes there, thanks.
  6. Hey guys. Is there anyway that I can start a mission with an airfiled deactivated, or blown up? I'm trying to build a campain and in one mission, I have a e-1b bomb kutaisi, is it possible in the next mission to set that aerodrome to deactivated, so airtcraft won't land there, or have it start still blown up?
  7. Mongo had the same problem. Turned out to be a bad PSU
  8. Darnit. I figured it out. The second and third waypoints were still set to 11 KTs...>.> I'm dumb.
  9. I'm setting up a simple mission for JTAC Practice, and I have a LVTP-7 that won't go more that 11 kts, even with the waypoint speed set to 39 (the max it would go to) I can post the .miz if it might help.
  10. Has anyone made a mod to add a mach cone to aircraft, or is ED gong to add it? I mean something like this: If not, I'm sure its because it would be a lot of work, but man, it looks cool!
  11. Okay. Some Progress. I went into the .Miz file and deleted the Config/Views folder, and when I restarted it, the views worked fine. I guess the only question remaining is why I'd have to do that in the first place.
  12. As long as I'm self-Bumping, I might as well add some information. I have 2 Mission files I'm using for online Missions. In one, The Absolute position problem exists, in the other, it doesn't. Screens: Server 1; "Practiceonline' Server "Practiceonline" , F-15C, Full Lean Back. Server "Practiceonline" , F-15C, Full Lean Forward. Server "Practiceonline" A-10C, Full Lean Back. Server "Practiceonline" A-10C, Full Lean Forward. Server 2; "TF-51 Free Flight" (originally created for tf-51 flying, then added F-15C for funski) Server "TF-51 Free Flight",F-15C, Full lean Back. Server "TF-51 Free Flight",F-15C, Full lean Forward. I will also post the associated mission files. Any Idea what could cause a breakage, but only in certain .miz Files? Practiceonline.miz TF-51 Free Flight.miz
  13. I hate to be that guy, but this is still giving me problems, so I have to self-bump.
  14. Just a quick update: I noticed this only happens on Multiplayer enabled missions, IE when they have more than one plane that a person can fly, whether started from the SP or MP.
  15. Hey guys. I just got F-15C because a buddy of mine won't fly A-10C >.> Anyway, it seems like I'm sitting way too far back in the seat, so I can only see a tiny portion of the HUD. The Absolute Camera Longitude axis doesn't work with my FacetracknoIR with the Point track module and a TrackIR clone I 3D printed, (which works flawlessly in A-10C and P-51) and the CTRL+SHIFT+* doesn't move it either. Anyone have this problem?
  16. I see what you mean, But I would think that an IR seeker that can distinguish the difference between a vehicle and provide a lock the ground could lock on to a giant glowing spot from a powerful IR LASER.
  17. Thanks! Quick reply, respect. Can the '65D's and G's do that in real life, or am I just flat out wrong?
  18. I'm new to the forums, this is my first post. I've used it as a resource for about 2 years now, and finally registered today. That being said, I've searched extensively over the months for an answer to this question. There's like 30,000 posts here so I may have missed it, so if this has been discussed I'm sorry to waste you time. What I'd like to know is if you can use the TGP to lase a target, either with visible for AGM-65H/K, or the IRP for D/G. For example, say I'm trying to pu a MAV though a window, or a random spot on the ground, somewhere the MAV can't get a lock. Or maybe even if the MAV has a "special moment" and refuses to lock somewhere it should. Is it possible to Lase the target with the TGP and have to MAV seeker lock on to the LASER? I know I can slave the MAV to the SPI generated by the TGP, but again, let's assume the MAV won't lock on this particular target. I'm pretty sure this is fairly SOP in real aircraft. This is the process I have tried so far: Find target in TGP Point lock target (with LASER for precision) Set SPI to TGP Switch to IR LATCH IR on target MAV as SOI Slave MAV to SPI (from tgp) [MAV is now locked to the exact spot the IR is directed.] TMS up short to attempt lock TMS up short to attempt lock TMS up short to attempt lock TMS up short to attempt lock TMS up short to attempt lock Give up and drop JDAM Am I missing something, is this feature not modeled in DCS, or is this not really a thing that can happen in real life? Thanks for all you help over the years, and in the future. (and here too? ;) ) Message to mods: If this is in the wrong place, or has been discussed before, I am sorry to re-post.
