Ok so I have a interesting question is anyone getting serious drops in FPS on ejection and or Camera views. In cockpit I'm seeing 125+ FPS. Now I eject or change camera View and boom FPS drops to 40 or less. I so don't miss slow download speeds, but just as someone said it all really doesn't matter once 1.5 goes live. But having gigabit speed internet is great.

I just realized that ED has updated the updater to 2.5.2.1., but the updates.diditalcombatsimulator.com still reads 2.5.0.67. So obsessively Hitting f-5 and refreshing that page might be for nothing. But that also doesn't mean overload to update open beta shortcut.

I'd say no, because if you over load the update server it blocks you. So you wouldn't slow down others from trying. Then you have to contact a moderator to unblock you. So I'd just wait until it's posted that it's there or just check updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com

I cannot wait, I haven't flown the F-15C in months , been in the A-10C beta testing each campaign mission I create for this campaign I've been making. I really wish they add a preview window in the mission editor so you can see the ground unit, building, farp, etc. you're placing on the map. Maybe one day as they work on the other features.

It's not old tech the f-18 has ACLS also.

Just like in the f-14 Tomcat will there be a functioning ACLS? Also current DCS carrier models don't include catapult launchers. Will leatherneck be redesigning them to include 100% carrier ops?

Great job guys looks great, but am I the only one that has a issue where when you load in parked and off the plane rolls without stopping?

Current DCS Crashes for me only when I forget to manually turn on my cooking fans on my gpu to 90% because the auto fan feature on AMD Catalyst software doesn't work at all. As for 1.5 tduly don't think the crashes are that breaking to hold the release. I think it's the L-39 that has the breaking bugs. But I don't really know because I'm not a ED employee.

I get that, but its good when Wags flies in the videos. if they were that bad wags live streams would be riddled with crashes. Its a beta the whole purpose of betas is to test amongst the masses. the people testing report the bugs they have and then they fix said bugs. And if those "blocking Bugs" were so bad they wouldn't have set a date for late September. But I digress, its Monday in Russia right now so I hope they are coming up with a solid plan!

As I understand the mind set of the developers of DCS, the one thing they keep forgetting is that with the age of early access games. Players realize that there are bugs, and if they are aware of this they realize the game will crash, freeze, and all around have issues. And when it comes down to it when money is spent on a preorder and a game misses or postpones the release date the players are more pissed then it having bugs. But C'est la vie it is what it is, I cannot wait to play 1.5 in January when it releases. Major sarcasm!

Well even today the f-15c in the real world can climb vertically, but the f-15c in DCS doesn't at takeoff. I maybe get about 10,000ft. In the video link you'll see the f-15 climb up way farther then in game and still have enough power to preform then maneuvers required to level out. I can guarantee the altitude speed and maneuvers cannot be recreated in game without stalling.

You have to understand these guys have been waiting a long time for this update to 1.5/2.0 and with all the delays, the announcement for end of September was a small light towards the end of a long black tunnel. Anymore delays even the smallest to all of us is yet another major bug in community support. Or maybe my military past just jades me on deadlines if I here late September I expect it in September no later, and I also worked in software and well my deadlines whether hard dates or not was done and out to the clients as stated. But that's just me, customer is always right.

As far as I understood the F-15C currently is a AFM, now the 1.5 update is supposed to give the F-15C a PFM. As for the trust I've always felt the thrust was too short for the f-15c as the engines in the f-15c produce 2x the thrust to its weight. In the real world the plane is capable of vertical lift without losing power. In DCS there is a loss of power in vertical flight.
