  1. Well, you can always get a few CH MFPs :smilewink:
  2. Half way through the 497 commands for a CHPproducts Command File. I should be done and have it posted tomorrow at the CH-Hangar. I'll be sending it home to convert into a .cmc Those of you who know how to convert to a .cmc, here's the .txt Black Shark.txt
  3. I got to train some of the Polish Navy personnel stationed at Gdynia Poland on the T700 Engine on the SH2G. Great bunch of guys! I had a GREAT time in Poland. I stayed on the 10th floor of the Gdynia Hotel overlooking the Baltic Sea. While I was there I visited Stutthof, Malbork Castle, and, Gdansk Poland. All well worth the visit!
  4. You could combine the toilet with the chair you know :smilewink: :D Oh, and beer goes without saying
  5. Skipper, were you using Control Manager to calibrate your CH Products? If so, you should only need to calibrate them, once, on install of the hardware/software. Do not calibrate them in Windows Game Controller Options. You'd only have to install Control Manager (drivers), once. Not each time you load a .map (Profile). You can even launch what ever sim you are going to play from Control Manager as you download the assigned .map. I say again, CH Products product support is out there, use them . If you are under your 2 year mark you are still under warranty. Talk to them, they listen.
  6. Feedback on CH Products is what you are looking for? Okay, in my humble opinion, you can't get anything better out of the box. Period. There is no other controller on the market today that is as programmable. Durability, well, I’ve had my FighterStick going on 6 years now. I’ve had a few ProThrottles but that had nothing to do with their quality. I’m a hardware Beta Tester. I was the hardware Beta tester for the Throttle Quadrant as well. However, if there is a problem, CH Products product support doesn’t burry their head in the sand and pretend there isn’t one. They are all over the various forums providing help to their customers. They are quick to reply to e-mails and phone calls as well. Most of the time, the problem is “fixed” within a very short period of time. Typically as I’ve seen, it’s nothing more than a software issue, not hardware. For those software issues, the creator of the software (Bob Church) is ALWAYS quick to help with what ever programming question there may be. There are others at The CH-Hangar to help out as well. At the moment, I’ve got a full CH Products array of controllers: FighterStick, ProThrottle, ProPedals, Throttle Quadrant, Multi Function Panel, and, DT225 TrackBall. Personally, CH is the only way to go, if not for the hardware, software, then if nothing else, their product support. In my opinion, it’s unsurpassed. There are a few companies out there that could learn a thing or two from them in supporting their products.
  7. If you are looking at plug and play all day and $ is no object, then I suggest CH Products. I'f you're looking for world wide resellers, here's a list of them. As you can see in this thread/topic, there are many options. Good luck!
  8. Ummmmm no, the AH1W, UH1N, AH1Z, UH1Y all have twist grip throttles (2) one per engine.
  9. Don't lump the AH1/UH1 Helicopters in that mix ;)
  10. Well, Admins, if you feel the need to move it to "Chit-Chat" feel free.
  11. Well, after playing with, AH64s UH60s, AH1Ws, SH60s, UH1Ys and AH1Zs for the past 19+ years, I'd say they all have a role for each of the services. It all boils down to (IMO) tactics. The US Army has theirs (still using pop up acquisition?), the US Marine Corps has theirs (run and gun). Those mentioned all use the same engine line, that's why I've played with them all ;)
  12. Huh? As far as I know, the Z and Y is as maneuverable if not more, as the AH64. Especially with the new head.
  13. In remembrance. .
  14. MBot, we're still verifying manuals for the Z. Hitman, I've seen plenty both at China Lake and here. The V22 seems to be doing okay in combat. But when you have the support staff they do, how could it fail? ;)
  15. Can't really speak for the 14 area hitman. But the 23 area has been changing a lot over the years. I've been here since '93. We've got 46s, Ws, Ns, Ys and Zs. We're last on the list for the V22.
  16. What I'm saying RT is, the reason you won't see the Z or W for that matter, has nothing to do with the controls or controller. It has to do with what I previously stated...
  17. You can hope all you want. Hell, I would LOVE to see the Z in this sim. I'd even settle on the W. I've got Z6 and 7 here with more to follow. I've got a bunch of Ys here too. But unless BH gets off the training and simulation stuff and allows others to produce it, it'll never happen. Simply put, they own it, and they're not shareing.
  18. Has nothing to do with the controls guys sorry.
  19. The AH1Z, AH1W, UH1N, UH1Y will not be flyable. Don't ask me how I know, I just do. ;)
  20. SunDown, Did you get the info you were seeking?
  21. And if ya still want yer ProThrottle modded, there's always a Franken Potato! You can read about it here...
  22. No detent? Really? :smilewink:
  23. Hello SunDown, The easiest way to mod a CH ProThrottle is to make it a stiffie.
  24. Well, I'e recently learned that, that "somebody" is now all CH although looking to stiffen things up a bit on the FS. 1st weekend in October you ask? Well, E For All of course ;)
