Happy new year gents, i want to upgrade my computer. Atm I have a 750 2gb, but I want something better. A colleague who knows a great deal about hardware said for my price range, a 1060 would be the best choice. Later he took a look inside my rig and said only a Zotac GTX 1060 Mini would fit in (hard cables are in the way). My first edited video is now online on YouTube. I know that some of the animations could be better, but i realized it after uploading. Please tell me what you think. I know the cutting didn't went quite well but I think about doing another one, the cutting will be better at that video.

Kommt also die 190 leichter bei engen Kurven ins trudeln als die 109? Sich zu entscheiden ist echt hart, am besten beide kaufen, dann weiß man welche besser ist:D

Und die Karte wird wahrscheinlich vor 2.5 sowieso nicht released, dann gäbe es eine vierte Version..

Das spricht dann doch für die 190. Ich glaube ich kaufe mir sie. Wird es möglicherweise die Möglichkeit bei Release der Map eine Bundle Deal zu machen, also Fw-190 und Map in einem? Soweit ich weiß ging das bei der Nevada Karte nicht..

Hallo zusammen, da die Normandy Map mehr oder weniger bald in unseren Händen sein wird, mache ich mir Gedanken, was für ein (deutsches) Flugzeug ich mir in den Hangar stellen werde. Ich schwanke zwischen Bf-109 und der Fw-190, beide haben gewisse Vorteile... Ich war bisher eher für die 190, vor allem wegen der folgenden Gründe: - sehr ordentliches, benutzerfreundliches Cockpit - moderneres Visier als die 109 (dazu muss ich sagen, dass ich in der MiG-15 immer mit dem fixierten Visier fliege, von daher...) Jetzt habe ich mitbekommen, dass die 190 schwer zum abheben und landen ist, für mich ohne Pedale ein ziemlich starkes Gegenargument. Da kommt dann natürlich die 109 wieder ins Spiel: -das deutsche Flugzeug des 2.Wk's (so gut wie jedes Ass ist dieses Flugzeug geflogen/sie ist einfach eine Legende) -Laut dem was ich gehört habe, einfacher zu starten, zu landen -gut gegen Bomber (B-17AI) Mal ganz abgesehen davon, das sich beide ziemlich ebenbürtig sind, fällt es mir wirlich schwer mich zu entscheiden. Gibt es hier jemanden, der beide Flieger hat und mir als Prop beginner die Entscheidung leichter machen kann? Danke schon mal im Vorraus. Nur zur Info: Fliege (bald) mit T.16000M und TrackIR 4

Hello guys, this is my Computer atm: i5-4460 (3.2GHz) GTX 750 2GB 8GB DDR3 and i want to upgrade to a RX480 (4GB or 8GB what's better for the money?) and to 16GB DDR3. The Rx480 costs about 250€ and 16GB DDR3 about 50€ (depends). In the end, is this upgrade worth it? My goal is to play DCS and the new maps with good graphics at 60FPS (i had to disable grass at my computer, because it hits the FPS too much, and i'd like to see some grass on the taxiway) Thank you for your answers:)

Sorry to dig this thread out again, but i doesn't work for me (win 10). When i change the target (step 3) to my main dcs folder, the jsgme shortcut switches to a shortcut of the dcs main folder.. why??

Merci snowsniper, maybe that'll help me. I will try it out. @Xavven: that's not even a problem, i would be able to laser them, but i have the red green weakness and when the doctor says that, your out of the game... The hightest license i can make is PPL... :( but flying gliders is also cool :D

Well i deffinetely i won't spend that much money on simming :D before that i'd buy a better pc for other games... Actually I'm a glider pilot myself, got 58 flight, (made my first solo flight two weeks ago) and i was hoping to get into the air force pilot training but i've got bad eyes... :(
