Greetings everyone! I’ve been flying DCS for a long time and I’m looking for some ideas from the group! A little bit of background…. I fly using a Pimax 5K Super, and as the new updates have and modules, I’ve started having some glitchyness and frame rate issues when flying. Here are my current computer setup is as follows: i9 9900k, 64gb ram, EVGA FTW 3 2080Ti Hydro copper x2 (yes I know DCS doesn’t support SLI), 1200w PSU, full water cooling for everything. Now here’s the question…. What would be a better option for the GPU to help with the issues I’m having. 4070? 4080? 4090? Something else?? I’m going to eventually upgrade my MB so that I can upgrade the CPU to either a 12900k or a 13900k, but I’m looking for the biggest performance increase immediately, as I can’t replace everything at once. I’m also debating changing VR headsets as the Pimax is always such a pain to optimize. I started off with the original Rift…. But I really want something that is the best combination of ease of use and performance. I mean in a perfect world I’d just buy a 14900k, 4090 and a Pimax crystal…. And just deal with the ease of use issues… but my money tree froze to death in this cold snap…. Anywho….. what would be the best option here to make things run good and look good hardware wise… Thanks everyone! I attached a video of one of the issues I’ve been running into. Well I haven't managed to get the scripts to even load into TARGET and or the DCS folder. So any ideas on why the scripts aren't loading into TARGET? I think after I get them to do that then I can fumble my way through the rest of it. But what I have managed to accomplish is the following: Install CTS and read the PDF Run CTS and Create the scripts for the Aircraft I own after this..... I have had no luck thus far.

So I read the install instructions and believe that I am following them explicitly. However I am not getting the scripts that are made in the CTS to show up anywhere I have looked, to be able to transfer them to DCS via the load function. Am I missing something or need to be doing something different? Like I said, I've read the instructions completely, installed the CTS and produced the scripts for the models that I selected, but cannot find them when I try to load them into DCS. Frustrating!! lol please help!!

Thanks so much SGT. I am thinking that I would like to fly the F-15 or the F-18 more often than any of the others. But that's not to say that I wouldn't also like the A-10 once in a while.

Greetings all, I'm new to DCS. I have the Warthog HOTAS and multiple models that I'm working on learning the intricacies of (which is pretty steep). I have seen a downloadable file that would allow me to have all of the various aircraft HOTAS profiles available to me to use. I was wondering if someone could help me with finding this again and showing me where to install the file to, so that I can pick the aircraft that I am wanting to use and fly (without having to bind the controls to different functions). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated and thanks ahead for the help you can provide!

So like I said in the title I know that this has been talked about before in the Mod forums, however as you can see I'm new around these parts..lol But I can already tell that you guys have a great forum group here! The problem is I too am suffering from the horrible affliction that is Small HUD Syndrome :megalol:. I know that there has been a fix found for this but I have two questions thus far. First in respect to the hud mod that will allow me to increase the size of the font, will it work with the Steam version of A-10C (I really hope so) because that is the version that I have. Second, if it does infact work how exactly do I change the required K= number to make this happen. I managed to find the file that holds the secrets, however it is not quite in the same format as what you guys have been talking about. There are two long scripts at the top of the page and then on the third line there is the following Old K=78.3 (I believe that is the number) Then right below that one, which I assume is line 4 it says New K=78.3_44 . So I'm a bit confused. I did download the .rif file but have no idea what to do with it..lol. If someone could help me it would be Awesome!!! Thanks ahead guys and I look forward to posting more!!! :thumbup:
