Well splendid, good to hear. I noticed a picture showing the (as far as I can tell) AV-8B Night Attack with a set of brimstones. Will the brimstone be included? Probably not since it`s a US AV-8B, right?
-
Maybe too early to ask, but has there been any confirmed info on what armament will be available for the AV-8B Night Attack?

Possible bug with performing nav fix with radar
zerO_crash replied to zerO_crash's topic in Bugs and Problems
Now I see what you mean, but that is not the problem in this case as I was doing a combat waypoint "M1" fix on the target. Meaning, they were stationary and I was fixing the M1 on them. As accurate of a reference as doing it on a recognisable ground feature. -
Possible bug with performing nav fix with radar
zerO_crash replied to zerO_crash's topic in Bugs and Problems
How should the reference point matter when TERNAV is updating you pos? Shouldn`t really matter (in Mirage sure, but not here). The problem is that it`s drifting like crazy. I assign a new position to the target WP, but shortly after (looking on the radar screen), the circle is drifting away from the targets. The fix was made on land, somewhere in the forest. Will check the other method, but currently I cannot use radar fix as it makes waypoints drift off too fast. Overall, it´s fairly inaccurate if trying to fire BK90`s at that point... -

Hope so too :smilewink: Thx for quick answer  -
Ln's fourth jet after F-14: Mig-23 or Su-22?
zerO_crash replied to Jaktaz's topic in Magnitude 3 LLC
Are you sure about the "permission from ED"? I know MiG21 has had it`s share of problems, but it was all still under development, not as a released and finished product. -

Are there any changes to Ho 229 after the recently announced split of the company? -
[REPORTED] No engine sound at lower RPM
zerO_crash replied to zerO_crash's topic in Bugs and Problems
Nevermind the engine problem, it seems fixed I notice if one performs the engine warmup first. No surprise explosions then. All good on this front then. -
Did you adjust target´s QFE? If you don`t give correct QFE value on your main altimeter, you won`t get a proper drop solution.

I noticed that there is a massive drift of a target waypoint "M" if one tries to put the target point directly on the target. It`s surreal how fast and how much it deviates. Having made a fix for a target waypoint in a mission recently went as such: - At 18km I made a correction fix using the radar. - At 7km where I was within range to release BK90, the target point fixed at 18km had moved some 1.5-2km away from where the taget was. At all time did I maintain some Mach 0.8-0.9. Is it supposed to be like this? I can mention that my terrnav kept my INS fully aligned and updated, had 0 accumulated error...

Oh mighty mods I summon you. Move this thread to Mi-8 section for the sake of cleanliness in the forums, thx.

** AJS-37 Changelog / Update Master List **
zerO_crash replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: AJS37 Viggen
^This Hard to fly a module where half the weapons don`t work at all or how they should and you only find it out in the air. Would be really nice to know what "can" be used and what is still bugged. -
Glad to hear, see ya in the skies :)

Following bugs have been in for quite some time, some make here not flyable: - After some patch this year, the engine of Dora is mysteriously blowing up like not before. The cooling water temperature is in place, same with oil, and other parameters. Yet her engine decides to blow for no reason. Unless there has been an update on this front and there is something lacking of info in the manual, it seems wrong. Having 70-75 C degrees coolant water temp, poof, jumps to 120 C instantly. Care to fix or explain? - At a low RPM setting (on the ground) the engine produces no sound.

Does it allow you to bind any other button on the stick for the weapons release? If it allows you to bind, then remove all bindings you have for weapons release (keyboard, mouse, stick, etc...), restart DCS and see if it lets you do it now. !!!When I mean remove bindings I mean -> "Clear Category" What stick do you have btw?
-
Could be a corrupt key folder. If it`s not a big trouble to go through, go to your C: > username > saved games > huey and delete all three keybinding folders (keyboard, mouse and joystick). Then do see if it works. If this doesn`t work, try to repair the module. Last case would be reinstall. But it should be fixed with the above I suspect.

If one activates all external lights, I notice that if one tries to turn off navigation lights alone, they remain lit. In order to turn them off, one has to turn off and on the position lights.

After doing a sortie, coming back to the airport and landing, upon moving the master mode selector from NAV to BER there is a big lag occurring.

I never wanted you out of it, don`t make me come off wrong. But a nicer tone would be appreciated. And I do believe you are a nice guy, just take it easy, don`t stress about it, present your evidence and wait for the dev to respond. Maybe they won`t, but they surely see the responses in forums and consider them. For the record, I not so much underestimate people, as I see people making a lot of assumptions based on their limited view. If you look at how aircraft are built, even nowadays, there are people who have been buildings planes for 30+ years (helped), and they still run windtunnel tests to rule out anything they might not have noticed or known about. There are many effects in aviation that have been figured out only by trail and error with lives getting lost. All I am saying is that theory is one thing, but practice is something else.

How`s the progress on pilot body going on? Feeling sometimes lonely in the cockpit at 50k feet :smilewink:

Back in the 19th Century someone once said that a man will never be able to fly. Only until Wright brothers proved them wrong. I would never say never. And finiding evidence on whether this is possible or not is hard because; it would be a risky manoeuvre to perform in a helicopter that was never designed to do it. And currently no "KNOWN" helicopter has been designed to do it. Seeing all these armchair pro`s here is really funny I have to admit. Look how everyone all of a sudden got smart here. Fact is you are all amateurs (maybe you fly a Cessna?) that pretend to be who you are not. Anyone here has a paper in flight engineering, or even flies real aircraft? It is not wrong to argue with a dev, it is not wrong to discuss. But the manners presented in this thread are downright ridiculous. Most of you who are stubborn here should know that you could improve your social skills. One doesn`t go to a dev who has qualified members within the aeronautics community and tell them stuff like: "Per my above suggestion might I recommend you enter into PRIVATE conversation with the following forum members and listen to them with a receptive and open mind." Many here could learn a thing or two, please be humble and communicate others with the respect you yourself would like to earn. For you it maybe a simple fix because you "think so" (and there is a lot of those "I think" in this thread), but as a dev they have something called quality assurance. Just so you know, there already was a real Gazelle pilot in these forums and he was not of the sort who bragged about it. Yet he got called out by immature armchair pro`s who had nothing but their own belief, and gave up. You don`t need to repeat the story. Think over what you say and to who you say it. Hope we can bring the tone of this discussion to a level which is a little above current.

This has been a bug before, and seems like it`s back. It`s a 50/50 if I get it to work. Would be nice to have it fixed once and for all. It was primarily yesterday that I did L39C and couldn`t get it to work. Anways, meantime fix is to fly with smoke pods, those will activate the smoke from fuselage too.

Noticed since last two updates that the pitch is somewhat different to what it used to be. Whereas the aircraft used to be very stable in pitch, it now seems fairly erratic. Thinking mainly during two cases: - When pulling G`s, be it low or high, the aircraft sometimes comes into a rare sensation where the pitch starts to oscillate even if the stick is held at constant place. The oscillation is really noticeable, and kind of weird considering one is in a positive G-pull. Talking low G`s here, no stall. - Noticed when trimming now, that the aircraft also behaves strange in that it can be perfectly trimmed for level flight, maybe even for a slight climb (talking in order of 1-5 m`s). But the moment you pitch down a little, below the horizon line, the aircraft has a strong tendency to want to dive as if it was trimmed nose heavy. It seems weird, never had this in the mig before. Is it supposed to be like this? Mr. Novak, or anyone from Magnitude 3 LLC please?

The problem still remains. Experienced it today.

Oh ok, great to know. Much appreciated. :)
