  1. I'm getting alot of complaints that some things just stopped working. I will be taking the time today to review this current version on the latest DCS and make sure it all works and if not, get some fixes out. Stay tuned.
  2. Posted a download link for 1.6 "half baked" version on main thread and also sent PM's to those who asked. Tell me how it works, I get reports that so far its working beautifully even on 1.2.7. This version has tons of fixes and alot of new undocumented features. It includes 2 new data files which anyone can edit (along with the export.lua) which will allow you to expand HT functionality indefinitely if you know what you are doing. At the time of writing, the new version support exports from the following modules: A-10C,UH-1,P-51D,Ka-50 However, this can easily be expanded either officially by me (later on) or by anyone who wishes to put the time to learn how to add support for other modules. Another new major edition is the alternative command sending mechanism which sends commands directly to the sim without the need to define "keys" in the sim to map to HawgTouch. A few samples are provided with this release and if anyone has questions on how to work with this new system I'm here to answer all your questions :) Enjoy!
  3. It is but in a very slow pace, I'm having hard time allocating resources to HT with so much going on with work and R/L....it will come out though...I guarantee it :)
  4. Hey guys, I haven't done some updates in a while, been working hard on finishing the gauge pack and wrapping up this version for release. There is still plenty of work to do. Ill keep posting updates when there is alot to show :)
  5. There is a capability to export gauges to a browser supporting Silverlight, so if you can get a compatible browser on the iPad I think its quite possible.
  6. Hey Case! Currently, the released HawgTouch version (1.5, and some people with a "half baked" 1.6 release) do not support DCS World natively. The current build fully supports it and when the REAL 1.6 comes out it will be 100% compatible with new Export.lua and definitions for finding paths and game location. If you can't wait for the release and want to get HT started immediately, contact me via PM and I'll send you a special build.
  7. You can have all the helicopter instruments on a second monitor, along with toggle switches, rotary switchse and all sorts of cockpit controls to manipulate your aircraft from a 2nd monitor (or touch screen). You can also use HawgTouch in "REMOTE" mode and monitor someone else's "flying" using the online capabilities, and alot more. Showtime : Resizing gauges will be done as Tommy said on the XML, with the editor you can also resize them very easily, however resizing during "runtime" will not be supported :)
  8. Hey guys, Due to the upcoming release of HawgTouch 1.6, which will open support to all DCS modules, Ive decided to make a UH-1H gauge pack for those with glass cockpits/external monitor setups. This first preview of the first 7 gauges in the pack, prior to release there will be at least 18 out of the 24 gauges in the UH-1H cockpit. For those of you who don't know what HawgTouch is, you can click on my signature down below and see demonstration videos with the A-10C module :) In the future, an Mi8T gaugepack will follow too!
  9. Time for the weekly update! Continuing work on the UH1 gauge pack (got more focus than the P-51 for now), here's the latest update of what's done: Alot of work has been done on HawgTouch itself, reworking the key input engine and allowing for clickable actions directly into the sim, with the help of MadTommy we're making quite a nice progress on testing and implementing this system! Also, coming with the upcoming release, there will be a basic "Profile Editor", which will allow you to create profiles instead of messing with XML files. This is not going to be a "top of the line" editor, but it will allow users to create nice panels without alot of trouble! Here's a screenshot of the first version: More updates coming next week :D
  10. Originally, Export.lua integrity check was made due to heavy cheating on MP sessions using TacView (it would export live data during a game and would allow others to see the entire battle map in ways that not possible otherwise). You cannot play with Helios or any other application that modifies Export.lua in any way on servers that has these checks.

    GTA 5

I bought GTA VC for PS2 and PC. GTA SA for PS2 and PC, GTA 4 for PS3,XBOX360 and PC, GTA 5 for PS3 and will buy for PC. You call me an idiot, I call myself an avid supporter of a company who produces the best entertainment which nothing comes even close to. Haters gonna hate. On the same coin, I have purchased EVERY available DCS module to date. Even though I don't plan on touching some of these modules ever again. It's showing support and gratitude to a product you really believe in.
  12. Weekly update Hey guys, Figured it's going to be a good idea to give somewhat of weekly updates, so taking the opportunity of this weekend start (for me), here's an update on what's been done so far! We'll start with the UH1: Here's the UH1 main pilot ADI, drawing is 90% complete, just some more touchups and bring everything into place Another important gauge is the speedometer, here's a finished version (with wireframes) of the UH1 ASI Next up, the Huey's dual tachometer, also a finished version Up next for the UH1 is the altimeter. I might throw in the radar alt reading or make a whole separate gauge for that, this is a very early verison :) Now! for some P-51D updates: The engine gauge I showed you earlier while in WIP, is now 100% done, here it is: Also, an important gauge for the P-51 is the speedometer, this one was a BITCH to nail because of how its sorted, it was also very annoying to code but its 100% done and fully working in game Also, I've completely reworked the data import engine to allow much more customizability and also "input" from outside sources. This is done so it won't be such a black box, and allow others to expand their data import/export capabilities and create many more instruments to their liking. Another major update for HT 1.6 which is probably one of the most long awaited update is the ability to send commands directly to the sim instruments. No more naggy keybindings and weird combinations. You will be able to tie every HT input control to a function in the sim. I'll try to cover ALL the instruments and clickable actions I can, and I'll also release a tutorial on how to find your device (in case I forgot or it slipped somehow) and set it as keybind. Both of these MAJOR changes will allow ANY DCS module in the future to be easily plugged into HawgTouch and start receiving data to wok with. I'll be back next week with more updates and screenies! Enjoy the weekend <3
  13. So! A quick update for you guys so just to show my intentions! I decided that 1.6 will come with BOTH P-51D gauge package AND a UH-1H pack! If i'll have enough spare time and strike an insane amount of luck with the Mi8 gauges, these will come out too with 1.6. As time passed by since the last big HawgTouch release, a few interesting things happened in the market. Microsoft, being oh so generous, have made some very useful tools available for the general public and now with a bit of an eye and very little knowledge in programming it's possible for EVERYONE to make their own gauges. So, on top of a new release which is fully compatible for DCS World, with alot of improvements and alot more gauges, I will also do a few complete tutorials on how to create a gauge, from downloading and installing the required tools, to drawing, modifying game export files, coding around and making some needles move..the whole shebang. Hopefully this will encourage the community to create their own gauges with endless amounts of possibilities. So without further ado, heres some of the first screenshots of the upcoming UH-1H pack and P-51D For the P-51, i decided to tackle the daunting engine gauge. It is a very vital gauge to monitor and posed a real challenge to me compared to the rest of the straight-forward gauges in the P-51 cockpit. For the UH-1H, after many many crashes and very harsh landings, I learned not to look outside...Coming in on a landing the only gauge you want to look at is the VVI. So, I decided to start with that. This gauge is already finished and in-game tested :) Bon appetite :D
  14. To get the gauges working with HT 1.5 right now: 1. Make sure you use the Aero theme, or else the controls won't redraw on the monitors (gauges) 2. Please do not use the ADI gauge at the moment, there is a bug in HawgTouch that if one of the gauges fails to update due to bad data from the sim, it will screw the chain updates to all other gauges. As for #1, it's going to be a hassle trying to fix it as I'm not really sure why the gauges to get drawn with Aero theme enabled (my guess is due to the nature of WPF) As for #2, I have already fixed that bug in 1.6 that will come out soon :) But for now, all the gauges work except the ADI.
  15. Helios replaces the Export.lua with its own, hence colliding with TARS.
  16. I've decided to make a DCS-UH1 gauge pack for HawgTouch (and a proper 1.6 release which will make it 100% DCS World compatible). Screenshots of progress coming soon :D I've also been thinking of making the whole data export code a bit more "Generic" and allow it to be completely configurable from .xml or text files. The reason for this is to allow for further extension of DCS modules to be enabled in HawgTouch without me needing to release updates all the time. I think it will set HawgTouch on a good course for the long run, I see so many modules about to come out, having playing around with the last 2 Belsimtek's (AWESOME modules btw) helos...I'm getting really excited about this all over again!
  17. Let's clarify a few things: HawgTouch 1.5 still works with DCS World 1.2.6 (tested it last night). The gaugepack still works aswell for the A-10C module. I've given HT a second look in the last couple of days, I'm really tempted to add support to data export from all DCS modules, that includes A-10C, Ka50, P51, UH1 and Mi8. Since I've already released the gaugepack source code to the public, enabling data export for these modules can surely be a good ground to see all sorts of new panels and gauges. I'll do some tests this week. I'm planning to at LEAST release a version that is native to DCS World.
  18. Sorry for the long reply, here are the updated links for HawgTouch 1.5 with GaugePack 1.3 I have been considering to make some changes to HawgTouch and make it support DCS World natively instead of all the tweaking needed. I see many people still use it and MadTommy keeps providing such wonderful panels it would be a shame to let it go to waste. I'm updating the links on the main thread as well :) Cheers! HawgTouch 1.5 with GaugePack 1.3
  19. Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? The best WWII sim team joins up with the best modern high fidelity superb quality sims = Super win Best of luck guys, take my money please!
  20. By giving the option to "add" cargo weight, it makes the system more "generic", and allows mission editors to decide for themselves what the cargo will be used for. I think it's what the developers intended for, but I might be wrong :)
  21. Not sure if troll or just promoting your own agenda here.
  22. Update: Seems to be resolved after closing the following apps: - Any flash player (Chrome/FF) - Evolve (creates overlay on screen for DX games) - RaidCall (comm programs) - Steam My bet it's Evolve or any other program which might create a DX overlay.

  24. Might be that modifier's don't work with other controls than ClickButton, I'll do a more in-depth investigation on this.
  25. It all works for me, playing latest DCS World A-10 Module... I'm not really sure what the issue might be, running HawgTouch as administrator is a must. If 'g' alone works but a modifier with 'g' doesn't work it might seem like a whole other issue but I cannot replicate it... More feedback would be appreciated.
