Anyone else not seeing AT-6 launches when replaying recorded action? I shot two AT-6 missiles in the original hop but nothing is seen in the replays.

I tried it today and would like to officially beg to bring the old system back; its options were so much better. The load times made me think DCS had locked up.

I had an interesting thing happen to me yesterday and I thought I'd ask about it. I was flying in Cold War Germany in rain from the back seat - I switch to the front to perform a task and notice we are ascending from around 150 feet to 300 feet. I pull up the george pilot AI menu and ask to sink down to around 110 feet. No response. I jump to the pilots seat and take her down to 110 feet myself. I switch back to the gunners seat and we start to ascend back to 300 feet where we stop. This is something new that I have never seen before. I am not sure if it is: a. new update that has changed George pilot behavior b. some AI protocol that kicks in when it is raining c. an issue only seen in the Germany map Give it a try and see if you get the same issue. Like I said, I've never seen it before the 5/21/25 update.

Greetings all, I downloaded the 2.9.14.8222 Update and I get "missing files" and "Disk read error" on my new SSD. The drive is fine. Is anyone else having trouble with this update through steam?

Hi all, I'm trying to download 2.9.14.8222 Update and I get the "Missing files" error. This is the first time I have ever gotten this. SOP is to delete content in your steamapps download folder. Did it. Same results. I did a game integrity test and it says I am missing a hundred or so files. Steam automatically fetches those and immediately starts downloading the update again. Same error. Are others getting this problem?

I'm going to be moving DCS to an M.2 drive. I plan to copy my install folder to my c'/: drive, install my new M.2 drive and then copy my DCS folder from c; to J: (new M.2) Question.... How do I point the DCS launcher to my new SIM location?

I must have jolted the cards loose when I moved. I have noticed a loading time from roughly 13 minutes now to 9 mins 40 seconds. Not much better but an improvement. The Kola map is still a dumpster fire of performance for me. Thank you for noticing this. It says 2 slots are empty when it is not the case. I have 64 RAM installed and yet 2 slots show empty. Not good.

I need help. A. Loading times from engaging VR in steam to actually having all textures loaded are reaching 12 minutes. If something like VR crashes for some unknown reason I'm looking at probably 10 minutes to reload the program. This CAN'T be normal or is it my system? I need advice from the community. B. The Kola map is a huge issue for my system for some reason. No other map gives me any trouble. I can fly low and slow in helicopters but fixed wing jets get these stutters in frame-rates to zero like the sim is loading something in for up to 7 seconds at a time and then frames are back to 60 fps and smooth.... for about 10 seconds before it does it again. Like I said - no OTHER map does this to me. \ I'm sure you all will look at my specs and immediately tell me what the problem is. I can run the sim to high standards at 60 fps but the more they add the more the code seems overtaxed. Nothing seems well optimized. What changes would YOU make. My specs. Greetings all, I'm not sure where to exactly post this issue that I have but it is in VR so here goes. I have a Reverb with a 3080 video card. Frame rates are steady in the Kola map for me in helicopters with only minor issues. In fixed-wing aircraft I have horrible stutters only in the Kola map with even drops to zero framerate as if the sim is loading something in. The sim will work its way through the issue and resume moving only to have it happen again. Scenario 1: F-16 at altitude near Bodo. High enough to see the excellent topographic relief of the map; about 18,000 feet. Flying straight and level gets stuttering to even momentary freezing in the motion of the sim. Turning the aircraft or rapid climbing leads to horrible stuttering. The effect is greater at high altitude not so much at low. Scenario 2: This one is the weirdest. F-16 on Bodo's taxiways traveling straight - normal FPS. Any yawing motion and the sim stutters to a halt for up to 30 seconds! Brief movements again turning, a freeze, a few degrees of a turn, freeze. It's so strange and annoying. Why during yawing on the ground while taxiiing? Scenario 3: Near the physical Bodo tower. This happens with both helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft on the ground or in the air. If I get within about 500 meters of that tower and small parking area the stutters are identical to the ones in scenario #2; absolute freezes for many seconds before the action switches back to being silky smooth PROVIDED I move away the tower. It's like there is this zone around the tower where this happens. All three scenarios appear to be related. I have tested and replicated these over and over again over the last few months. Anyone have solutions for me to try? Anyone have any ideas? It is ONLY with the Kola map. Thank you gentlemen.

Is the ASE page not fully implemented for SA-2 threats? My wingman are telling me Mud-Spike but nothing shows on the ASE page at all. I just explode from a missile from 1965. No symbology ever showed on ASE. It is the stock Scud hunting mission that comes with the module.

One question I have - How does one change waypoints in a route manually to be shown on the IHADSS mini hud? Like If a mission changed and I am currently flying to waypoint 3 and now I want to jump back to waypoint 1?

If I run in MT version on steam it defaults to my desktop monitor and not my VR. Is there any way to rectify this? When I do this it defaults to my monitor instead of my VR set. Is there any way around this?

Foolish question but if one is in cruise all trimmed and on holds and then rapidly need to turn to a new course should we should disengage the holds then physically hold the trim down as we maneuver and then release to re-trim onto a steady course?

I'm flying VR and the green miniature hud data projected extends beyond the outline of the round monocle. Is there a way to shrink the mini-hud projection to better fit?
