  1. Watched your vid Tale and was impressed. I use a Delanclip headset and tracknoir. If I move my head and instantly go to F2, I see the pilot looking at that angle i.e Left or Right. So if I move my head and then select replay, then hit F2 I should see the head movement. Do I have to save the Track or just watch it again?
  2. Hey Tale How do you see the pilot moving his head? I've tried loads of ways but never seen it. Pressing F2 nothing happens. Is this in recorded mode or actual flying? Are you using Trackir or facetracknoir? cheers
  3. Just watched the video and was drulling after that. The head movement would suffice for me and would be so immersive. Great for movie creation. Bring it on.
  4. They look great. Do these have to be used with CA or can they be placed in DCS? Cheers

    AI in Formation

I think this is one of my major gripes as it would be more immersive having your AI closer. When tornados are testing and training over my house, they really are close. The noise is deafening but brill to watch.
  6. I have some planes from Wings of Russia and have the Gripen etc. When reading the readme file it mentions things about Bombs or Air to Air. Can you load both or do you have to load either? So you can only do air to air or drop bombs? Most use the SU-27 cockpit. Noticed when trying out the Grippen that I couldn't use the guns. Any pointers would be great. Cheers
  7. Found a lua file with these settings: nose_gear_pos = {3.942, -1.878, 0},-- 1.748 1.848 Which one is for elevating the nose wheel as mine is sunk into the tarmac Cheers
  8. Cheers razo, but which lua file or model file? Ok, found a lua file with these settings: nose_gear_pos = {3.942, -1.878, 0},-- 1.748 1.848 Which one is for elevating the nose wheel? Cheers
  9. Everytime I Install one of their great planes, the wheel nose is sunk into the tarmac. Any idea how to lift it slightly? Looks a bit strange when making a movie etc Cheers
  10. Wings of Russia create some great stuff, but when I add them, the nose wheel is buried in the tarmac. Any way to correct this? I use JSGME as I use other plane mods and don't want to conflict.
  11. Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated. If I need anymore help, can i contact you or just reply to my thread?
  12. Many thanks for reply. I haven't removed the IR Filter from my cam yet as I don't want to bust anything. When I was Calibrating it, on the bottom it was saying 2 dots bad on a few occasions. As I turned my head I could see the crosshair disappear. I got my clip from Delan Engineering. I'm not sure about entering distance and angle from clip to cam. Where do I enter clip LED distance?
  13. After some trials and mistakes I have got facetracknoir and delanclip working. When I am in facetracknoir and setting the delanclip, I keep losing a dot or two. Is there a recommended height and distance between the clip and ps3eye to work correctly? Also, I am having trouble with zooming in and out. Any help would be very appreciated and when I have got it stable, I will be doing a complete tutorial for all newbies to this. Cheers Steve
  14. Hi Speedstick. If I have problems with Opentrack, did you do anything special to FacetrackNoIr to get it working for DCS? Where did you place the headtracker files and what are your initial settings?
  15. Thanks for the replies. Cliffy, do you have any pointers to install, what settings you have etc? It would be very helpful. My Delanclip arrived today but still waiting for my PS3eye to arrive. Cheers
  16. Hi All Very confused at the mo. Ordered my Delanclip and downloaded both FacetrackNoIr and Opentrack. I have been searching for a straight forward installation guide with DCS but only getting snippets of info. As I'm using 64bit, is there anything extra to do to get it working? Also which is best? More smoother and responsive? I don't mind if someone could give some sort of simple way and then if I can get it working, I would be only too glad to write a tutorial that would save a lot of people new to headtracking the help they deserve. Any pointers would be appreciated. Cheers Steve
  17. Hi All Have to say, what a fantastic plane this is. One thing I need to know is, are there no ATC callouts or do I have to set radios or something? I get the ground crews but nothing else. Been searching but had no luck with this. I see there is a questions section but still need to know my way around this. Update....Found it on youtube Doh Cheers
  18. Thats great thanks. It's good to use JSGME but as I said, if you make a mistake or a mod screws up your install, game over. Cheers

    JSGME

Many thanks txmtb. Will take a look. Just don't want to make any mistakes that would mean a re install of everything. Update, that was perfect

    JSGME

Can this be used with all mods i.e Clouds & Sky v5.71? And also, when it has been used and the files have neen overwritten, if i wanted to revert back can this be done when deselecting the mod? Used this before with IL-2 modding but need to know if this works the same for DCS Cheers Steve
  21. Is it possible to have 2 installs of the sim with modules installed so you keep a clean install just in case a mod doesn't work or you can test without ruining the original?
  22. Many thanks. The problem when you start with a new sim is that there is so much to take in. With so many modules etc it is difficult to wade through it all and you don't want to make mistakes. I have helped many in the past with many sims so I appreciate a few pointers that will speed up the learning curve. Cheers
  23. If I install mods to DCS and I run FC3, will I still see the changes. For example, adding new sky textures, will you see them in both?? Steve
  24. Totally agree Mango. Couldn't help myself. Went and got one of my favourite planes...The Sabre. I know it's technical, but I love it and in time will enjoy this one to the hilt
