Nothing much, but since last update, when i go into the menu, it hasnt picked up the harrier. Things seem to be working ok. Should i leave it or reinstall? I havent tried any complex calls, only got as far as refueling so cant say if all is ok. Cheers

I've used these mods right from the start and still do. Great to see they have put them here for everyone who wasn't aware. Keep up the good work guys

Is it possible to make a backup copy of stable 2.5.2 (Saved Games and Main DCS) so that it saves a very large and long download? I have a spare HD that I save other backups to just in case of problems.

NineLine, sorted. Did a repair and have all the options that were missing. Now to get immersed. Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated. The only thing I use is JSGME to load mods and always do a backup just in case. Phew!!!!!!

Thanks for the reply NineLine but I know it's there. I just can't select anything. I have no other mods loaded. I tried the weather but nothing. I think the only other option to me is maybe do a repair.

I have tried everything to get this to work but with no success. I updated a couple of weeks ago. Has it been shelved? There is a option but I cannot select anything. Also, I noticed that it is showing the Harrier as beta, is this correct? Any info would be great as I am pulling my hair out on this one. Have to say, the Harrier is fantastic. Cheers

Hi All Just updated to 2.5.2 and bought the Harrier and very pleased indeed. I was looking at the options and noticed the Rain Drops was there and went to select it and there is nothing. Is there some other settings I need to apply to get this to work or has it been disabled? Update...So I take it that it comes in automatically when rainy weather has been selected. I will do some tests. Update 2.... Tried everything, mission editor etc but nothing. Removed mods and still nothing. So whats going on? Does anyone know how to get the rain drops working? Update 3.... Did a repair and sorted

An update: I read page 33 of manual as mentioned in the faq's and exported the lua files and copied and pasted the text to the saved game lua's and DCS directories. Fantastic, worked a dream. Only thing that I need to check is when using Viacom pro, it hasn't found the plane I am flying but so far I am happy to get Viacom back. So for anyone with similar problems, this is the way to go.

blkspade, I'm using DCS 2.5.0 stable. Have you tried to reinstall Viacom 2.5.1? I think I might bite the bullet soon and go back to where it was working and see if that helps. Forgot about page 33 of the manual. Will try to manually sort the lua files and report back if it works.

Hi All Just installed 2.5.2 dll over 2.5.1 Recognition is fine except, I have no responses. Tried in Nevada and Caucasus. Any ideas? I have no error reports in VoiceAttack with Viacom Plugin. Update: found this in VoiceAttack, Fault 13/05/2018 14:36:39 - Plugin exit exception (VAICOM PRO 2.5): Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Would it be worth re installing 2.5.1? And how do I save my Profile? Cheers Steve

Thats all I wanted to know. I never knock testing as I used to test for microsoft so know a little bit about it. My gripe is that with all software, it would be nice to word things in a way that helps people out so there is no confusion.

So why didnt ed have 2.5.0 stable updated as it progresses? Getting stupid. May as well downloaded the beta version in first place.

Sorry guys, but what the hell is all this about?? Time limits for modules etc. Could someone explain this in simpler way as im totally confused. Can someone explain time limits. If you have paid good money for your modules, why cant you use them as much as you like?

Not sure if this has been done before but when using Nevada map, I call ground crew and all recognised, but if I request startup, takeoff etc I get no reply. I did a test on New Caucasus and evrything works great. Is it the Nevada map that is causing problems with Viacom Pro?

"When I Say" Has All The Words I have just updated to 2.5.1 and the recognition is fantastic. One problem I am having, is when I go into the profile, and select a spoken request, in the line at the top "When I Say" has every word. For example, if I select Request Refuel, I get Abort Takeoff and all other words. Is there a fix for this or is it part of the profile. If this has been answered before, appreciate a nod to the post. I have installed 2.5 and saved 1.5.8 to another directory. I have 1.5 saved game folder and the original also. Should I remove options.lua file from original and all mods etc. Not sure which way to go on this one so any help would be great. Cheers

You have probably done this, but I looked at the lockon.de site to check my VSN mods and they have a new 2.5 update. Not sure if that helps you at all

I can feel it in my bones, and am preparing for the big download to update to 2.5. As this will be a big download for me including the Nevada map and all my modules to move over, is there going to be a way to stagger the download as I am on standard broadband? Or, will it have to be on all day and night? Just a little worried when returning to pc and find that the download stopped for some reason.
