  1. Went into Options and Misc but there was nothing there. Do I have to be airborne to see head turns etc. All I see is the pilot lift his arm to close the canopy and nothing else. IF I recorded the flight with 3rd party software, would I see the animations then? I feel done by the trailers. I sometimes feel I have wasted my cash. Cheers
  2. OK, Cheers
  3. Im not sure if this has been addressed before but, when Isaw the trailers before buying, they showed the new pilot animations. I dont see any on replay. I am using trackir. Is it because Im using 1.5? or is there a setting I have missed. Cheers
  4. Thanks. Will try that out and see. I am using TX4 at mo. The work thats been done on this is amazing. So many variables. Im going to be happy with a few commands for the present as so many to remember. No doubt, i will be posting more questions Cheers
  5. I have used the speech recognition many times and is very accurate to date. The crazy thing is that voiceattack and viacom recognise the words but tell me they are not recognised within the program. I printed out the commands and have tested the ones I want to use for no. I went through all of them and checked the ones that work. Now I have something to go on. I will check the interrogate command and do some more testing. Many thanks for your help.
  6. Just been testing, and some words were not recognised. Airborne, Request Taxi. I then enabled the Extended Command Set and still a few did nothing like Open and Close Canopy, Request Refueling, Air Supply and a few more. Any ideas or pointers would be great. Im thinking that maybe some other things need to be implemented, like a fueling tanker or the tanks empty so that the crew will answer? Just getting a little bogged down. Cheers
  7. Thanks for the info sze5003. Is this the same for 1.5.8, as i havent downloaded 2.5 yet. Cheers
  8. I downloaded the useful kneeboard for Viacom. Do I copy the images to the named plane kneeboard? Cheers
  9. I think I will wait until the final release is out. Then keep my 1.5.8 and have a seperate 2.5. At least if I have any problems, I know I have something to fall back on.
  10. Many thanks QuiGon
  11. Hi Just need clarification when updating to 2.5. When updating from 1.5.8, I will be asked if I want to keep my 1.5.8? I was thinking of keeping it for a while just in case I have problems. Will the new update create a seperate folder in Saved Games/DCS alongside my 1.5.8 saved folder. Just getting a little confused and can't wait to fly the Nevada map etc. Should I download the Beta installer or wait for Final Release? Cheers
  12. Cheers guys. I think I will wait and spend some time getting everything on. Once it is done, one happy bunny
  13. Hi All Just purchased Nevada map in sale and was wondering wether to download 2.1 or wait until 2.5 final is released and update 1.5? Don't want to mess up what I have at the mo. Cheers
  14. Sorted it out
  15. I was reading the newsletter the other day about 2.5 final. The way I read it, seems to say that 1.5 and 2.2 will be rounded up to 2.5. Am I correct?
  16. I am only interested in the mods that are there to enhance the sim. It is a real pity that the ground texture mods seem to have been hard hit for some reason. Unless I buy the Nevada map and install 2.1, the 1.5 users have no desert to fly in. I might be wrong, but I will keep trying
  17. Thanks Morpheus I have managed to direct jsgme to my saved games folder and created a mods folder with the aircrafts etc. I will look into the other folder structures and do some testing. If it works, then happy days Cheers for your input
  18. Since the latest update to 1.5, I have started to use the saved games folder for some plane mods. Is this the best way to go for other mods? I have a couple of sound mods and cockpit mods that I want to use. If I add the same folder structure from DCS root folder to my saved games, then point jsgme to saved games folder, will that work? I noticed that with 2.1 and above, this seems to be the way to go. Cheers
  19. For Neon and anyone else who might find this helpful For voiceattack, it is best to let it install to the default directory. That way, you will have less problems. For viacom pro 2.5, download the zip file and unzip it to your desktop. The same goes for chatter file. Go to voiceattack directory and open. Then copy viacom folder to the apps folder in voiceattack. Again, the same goes for chatter folder. Then run voiceattack as administrator. This will activate the folders dll and will create a set of folders with files in them. Then you can import the viacom vap file from apps folder. Also, when you download your purchased file, keep the zip file as a backup. If for some reason files become corrupt, you still have a couple more downloads left Hope this helps.
  20. Cheers Buckeye
  21. Voiceattack Edits Hi Hollywood Crackin work. Got it installed but have a couple of questions. In Voiceattack profile!! 1. Can i edit the button for On/Off Chatter without problems. 2. If I use Easy Communications On, do I map my jostick to TX4 Auto. Thanks Steve

  23. Hi All Will there be a voicepack for the L-39 at anytime soon, or will that be when 2.5 is released? Cheers
  24. I thought it was in the options menu/Controls. OK, will check that out now. Many thanks
