Bader, just came across this. Havent flown my Sabre in donkeys but would like to dust it off. I have installed teamspeak 3 and will look at rolling back my 1.5.8. What happens to the saved games folder? Do i have to create one as I upgraded to 2.5 from 1.5.8? I will be very rusty but will get the manual out and do some training

Ramsay, its PIO for def. The joystick is so sensitive with the harrier, just a slight touch and its off. Im going to look into a new joystick but not sure which one yet.

I have been thinking of getting a new joystick for a while now. Might be time to look around. Cash is always a premium. Many thanks for your input rtimmons, I will give that a go tonight.

I questioned this some time ago. It would be good even if one person had the module to allow someone to join them in the second cockpit. This would give them the thrill of flying and get them hooked to the sim. My brother was put off as he was unsure after I realised he couldnt join unless he had the module and he didnt want to spend money to find it wasnt for him. Lets hope ED takes note

I adjusted 3 VTOL missions, placing added waypoints etc. When I select sve, and fly the mission, it loads but goes right to the F10 map view. Nothing showing anything. I then went back to the mission editor and saved the mission with a new file name but still the same. I have just done a repair and havent had time to test again. Is there a bug within Nevada?

I noticed that i have my curves set to 25 and so i will reduce to try 15. I think it has to be PIO as normal landing is a breeze. Thanks so much for all the input. I will get this licked very shortly. Also, might bring my joystick back a bit to allow less fatigue on my arm. That might help with PIOs. I have the stiffness on the joystick set to full. Would it help to lessen or keep it tight? The video was very good by the way

Many thanks guys. Whenever I do a Vertical landing, I jetteson fuel to lighten the plane. I will try everything. Just gotta get this landing right. All other actions are no problem. I will look at the curves settings as well. Cheers

This is driving me mad big time. Can do anything else but this is getting silly. I approach the runway OK, all is fine and then when I'm over the runway and descending, the plane starts to sway quite a bit and it is very difficult to correct. Obviously most attempts end in failure. Looked at loads of videos and can't see what I'm doing wrong. Any help would be great. I need to get this licked before I join a group and don't want to look stupid. Could my joystick be set too sensitive? I'm using a Thrustmaster Hotas X

Do I have to be airborne for TDC to work with the scrolling map? Maybe Im doing something wrong. I have watched a couple of videos but without any luck Update: Sorted. Forgot to add waypoints DOH!!!!!

Thanks dave, will try another. I thought it was trying to takeoff vertically. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Is there a way to get the AI to takeoff from a carrier? I can place the static planes etc and they look great but when I place a plane to take off from the carrier, it slowly rolls on the runway but nothing else. I have only tried the AV8. Should I be using another plane? Any help would be great!!

Can anyone tell me which sound file is for the flyby sound. I want to edit some of the others as they are not exactly correct. There is too much whine and not enough of thrust. If I can get these sounds more accurate, I will pack them together

Many thanks for the replies. I will look into the timelines and take a look around. Done my back in so flat out at the mo. I can do some looking while I recover. I only use easy comms with viacom. Really looking forward to this as got fed up trying to get friends interested with no luck. Just flying around in an empty sky is not for me. Will check out Discord, hear it a lot. Cheers guys

Having fun with the new Harrier although a slow learning curve. Been flying solo for so long and starting to feel the need for multiplayer. Don't have a lot of free time, but get on when I can so will be looking for easy going group to join at some point. This will help me with formation flying etc. Very new to this type of multiplayer so any info regarding other software etc wouold be very helpful. Look forward to making some new friends along the way.

Nothing much, but since last update, when i go into the menu, it hasnt picked up the harrier. Things seem to be working ok. Should i leave it or reinstall? I havent tried any complex calls, only got as far as refueling so cant say if all is ok. Cheers

Is it possible to make a backup copy of stable 2.5.2 (Saved Games and Main DCS) so that it saves a very large and long download? I have a spare HD that I save other backups to just in case of problems.

NineLine, sorted. Did a repair and have all the options that were missing. Now to get immersed. Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated. The only thing I use is JSGME to load mods and always do a backup just in case. Phew!!!!!!
