  1. Looks really good! Will it ship via VKB Europe (flightsimcontrols.com), too around the same time? If I want to reserve it, can I write them, too?
  2. I recommend teensy LC's. Dirt cheap and functions well enough. Converted an old Suncom Throttle from gameport to USB with it. Don't have pictures on hand unfortionatly.
  3. Hello People, need you input here. Bought a CV1 about a month ago and it's been great. But I'm sure those who read through the vr forums have head it often enough already, so I'll get to the point: When I'm in the DCS settings menu, the maximum resolution I can select is 1080p. I changed it to the correct resolution and aspect ratio in the config file manually and although it then shows up as the current resolution in the settings menu (still can't select it from the drop down menu though), the actual resolution hasn't percievably changed. I also noticed that Ii don't seem to have the full colour range avaliable. At leats at dusk or dawn the sky kind of look like 8bit. Tried reinstalling the Drivers, but it didn't change anything. Anybody's got any ideas or the same problem? My Specs: GTX 970 Xeon E3-1231 v3 16 GB RAM SSD Running the Rift from an HDMI Port and USB 2.0 (though tracking and sound works perfectly). Thanks!
  4. Thanks! I appreciate it. Man I am looking forward to this!
  5. Awesome! Thanks for the answers. Gonnas start scraping Money together then. Still I'm wondering if gpu or cpu is more important in vr in relation to normal dcs. Say your system works perfectly non-VR and struggles with the rift, what would you upgrade?
  6. Hello People, I guess this kind of question has been asked plenty times before, but I couldn't find a definite answer, looking through the forums. I have a GTX 970, 16 GB of RAM and a Xeon E3-1231 v3, which basically is an i7 4770 (no K) with the integrated graphics removed (and 100$ cheaper). Now these specs are quite enough to play DCS 1080p on the highest settings and would be enough to play on a 1440p display also i suppose, but are they enough for VR? Also I was wondering if VR incerases the load on the CPU (even more?!) or more on the GPU over non-VR DCS. Thanks!
  7. Maybe it's just me, but man has refueling gotten difficult with the last update.
  8. As it says in the title, when the master caution light lights up, i don't get the corresponding sound. In every mission I tried, e.g. in the Cold Start Quick Start Mission.
  9. Hello, maybe a bit of a silly question: Currently there seems to be no way to move the antenna up and down to look for targets as, for example, in the f-15. Will this be implemented in the future or doesn't the mirage have this capability? I searched the forums and the net, couldn't find an answer though. Thanks!
  10. Q: I was wondering, whether the Freetrack interface is going to be supported. For those, who can't afford Track IR.
  11. As an alternative to TrackIR (which is 150€ or more) I would recommend trying to build a Freetrack rig. It isn't so hard, just basic soldering required and there is a ton of tutorials out there (like this one: http://wiki.hoggit.us/view/Building_a_Freetrack_Rig). I don't know how TrackIR feels, but Freetrack works really well for me and is really intuitive. Much fun garanteed and that only for like 20€ including a webcam (I use the microsoft vx-800). My experience with FacetrackNoIR has been that it is at best jittery and at worst completly unusable. P.S.: For freetrack you'll also need to drop a couple of files into your DCS install. Look here for more: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=117933
  12. I've been having the same Problem. Followed the instructions, but no 'MDC_campaign_results.lua' was created in the DCS World folder. I've discovered, that since DCS is installed on my boot drive, I need administrator rights, to create or change any files. Just tried running DCS as an administrator and it fixed the issue. Hope that helps. Now excuse me, there is some fun to be had.
