  3. Distance of the sight is not a problem when the 3D cockpit is design for it.. it seems that ED is doing the same mistake as in Lockon.. i can desmonstrate it again in a video with lockon since BS didn't correct the problem.
  4. Sorry but it make mo sens stretch or not fish eye as nothing to do with that. Set your view back and test it again.. And sorry but images are stronger than your words.

  8. Shepski why do we see fish eye in ALL Black Shark video ? Look again ALL BS video and mostly the 2008 exhibition one it is soooo clear.. and you say so there is no "fish-eye" effect like you see in Lock On ?? This short comment of the Track IR founction is really good for the peoples that don't know much about it but on my case i know it very well.. Now that we know that all Axis are free on BS please can someone from ED team could answer this simple question noted in the prior post ?

Fragal: Sorry no videos or pictures are posted to actually re-enforce your statement, all for now point out mine. 6DOF will be and is a big factor in BS ,a modeling of full 3D cockpit is the focus.. well the 3D cockpit should come with all the capabilities that 6DOF offer as well as a well design cockpit environment..meaning NO fish eye.

  11. Yes but i think a ED team member should then respond to this questions. If all upcoming addons will be on top of Black Shark better fix this problem right now to ovoid any problem later since in cockpit freedom of movement ED are behind everyone else. I hope I'm wrong and if indeed there is the problem well somethings must be corrected ASAP

  13. Here some old 6DOF footages modified and that I made. My cockpit vision is what represent at a monitor level what basicly you can see in a RL cockpit wide ( position of pilot eyes ) but not wide as some in Lockon ( made a graphics files to correct this btw ) . Now in many different black Shark videos it seems that all looks good at a mid cockpit distance and beyond it will look like a fish eye lens like in the video of the 2008 exhibition.. Also in BS video while leaning forward it seems that it zoom in as in today lockon and not move the pilot head forward i hope that it is just a setting choice.. -Why in the 2008 exhibition video we can see clearly this fish eye effect ? -Can we see some footage with 6DOF movements at a good far back position? I think this can be clarified real quick with one of you guys tester making a good all around cockpit video and that can erase all doubt we can have.. Thx In the NaturalPoint site the black Shark video confirm what i'm saying about this.. didn't demonstrate the leaning forward ( I'm sure it is possible but it's good to be certain ) and the "fish eye" effect is clearly there..

Yes there is a problem and it's good that this is adressed.. little things that disturb me.. on a loading window you can see something like " Game Loading " is the word GAME is a positive thing for BS ? also the DCG display at this show is poor why would you want to show a sim with a poor display, People should see it at his best and in normal home use, the satellites around can have them but not the major show machine.. We had the same problem with UBI when I showed IL2 pacific Fighters at the world competition show in San-Francisco in 2004.. so bad that i had to bring my stuff.. a small compagny ?. that make no sens. Anyway it is not negative comments but some questions and maybe advices .
  17. Yes i see in an older demo which doesn't have this fish eye effect.. why this effect was on the 08 salon ? Flight simmers are used to the track ir and i think at a salon it's very important to desmonstrate all capability.. thanks for answering
  18. Do the movements inside the cockpit can go side ways? "X" axis or was it off for the demo ? Feels natural it's a matter of each individual test .. 6 DOF is movements in all axis.
  19. An horrible feeling!!! I think but i'm not sure...Maybe we can have some light on that subject.. I did work with track ir and i'm quite used to it in different simulations but here the problem it seems that there is no side ways movements ( X axis ).... The canopy feel like a fish eye again like all other Lockon aircraft. If i'm correct the Black shark is entirely 3D cockpit so why this visual effect? I did addressed some times ago a problem that we have with the lockon series and it is understandable why ... The problem in the Video of "Black Shark at Simware Simulations Show 08" i see a very very similar problem.. Any answer on that matter..? Thx

Give this a try before re-installing.. >>> graphics settings file <<< In VISIB RNG go with ( GOZR_fast_Ground your system is good enough the others will give even more FPS ) Setup your resolution and try out, it became a standard for many. Here my views ( F O V ) at MAX zoomed OUT with Track-IR or manually. If you want to try the file get it H E R E I just dislike the buble vision .. Here the samples:

  23. A question to the guys that run lockon at very low graphics setting.. What do you expect from a modified texture when you run them so low ? I Just would like to hear what you guys hope or what it is possible to do for you ?

Well the different of green is normal actually since just teh runway was modified.. on my picture in the page before this one i'm using a modification that i made to match the colors of the runway wich is darker and some other stuffs. But as a test Beta this it is good to know that it work, now the rest is a question of adjust and tunning..
