No do it again it's important it's also a base of the Sp2. Reload all FSX and Accel on top but after installing FSX erase the files as i said above. then install Accel, This will give you a better start.

Two GB, yes definitely.. always better But this system is quite out dated now ram is your only choice or upgrade to better system but don't spend much on it now..

So now when you did load Acceleration you did erase all your FSX folder in your \Application Data\Microsoft\FSX first right ? Accel will create a new one with new parameters.. did you do this ? if not do it again and see what that can give you start at the basic

Man I run under DX9 with out a glich and High frames rate .. they got you like a newb! If you have only the latest DX9 and DX10 Acceleration will run,... So now for you guys that want Acceleration which imo is the best addon for FSX and the cheapest as well you have DX9 cards no probs.. And btw the answer from Leekhita is a pack of booboo

169 Ross I work on FM under FSX and i can tell you that Lockon's FM is not good. 90 % of the planes made for FSX are wrong as well but after some work they can be very good as i did for many. I can compare the Mig29 from Lockon and my Mig29 FM... not even funny.. ;)

FSX do not run better on Vista than XP Vista has the DX10 that about it . You guys have some wrong ideas..

Acceleration do not requirer DX10.. What are you talking about PigPen ? SP? SP1 or the SP2 ? What ?

Double.. really Now if the 7800 GTX is cheap of course or you can go with better which would be the new 8800GT wich is an hair shorter than the GTX for half price.. around $ 250 to 300.

Anyway this can be discussed for a long time until we actually have the BS Sim.. I wish that this conversation doesn't turn into a defensive mode for the beta testers or other guys but instead a more constructive remarks that actually can help to prevent this problem..It is always better to prevent and fix before a product released and and not after .. We have a good sample with the Lockon serie so why not fix them before they will do nothing about this.

This is not at very wide angle but at regular FOV cockpit sight. I say it again" Not very wide angle or wide angle but regular FOV" And i will even note that All other sims do have a correct FOV in relation with the Fish eye effect but NOT Lokon and BS.. An example of Good FOV witch is not very Wide and have a tremandous Fish eye effect while flying
