  3. Looks like the 1.5.7 update broke the IC for this Mod. Sucks Specifically listed in the IC check are: textures/m2kc_12c textures/m2kc_3c

    VIFFing

Going to be interesting when people start messing around with VIFFing in DCS.
  5. Zeus, In your FB post you mentioned "The system is meant to be flexible enough to use mobile radio navigation beacons that maybe set in a FARP or improvised runway." Would this be something a mission maker could do for a FARP or road-way runway by setting up a radio beacon at that spot or is this locked in to only Airports ? Thanks
  6. Excellent Job! Loved this mod but gave up on trying to fix it. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix Toby's Black Shark Monocle Mod and the Tiny ABRIS ? https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/495836/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/446455/
  7. BAE's APKWS rockets go to war on AV-8B Harrier APKWS II deployed on USMC Harriers Navy deploys new APKWS design for fixed-wing aircraft Looks like they started fielding them after March 30th 2016
  8. Cyhp3r, Great looking flight stick, does it come with any kind of management software (I.E. Thrustmaster Target) ? Does VPC have any North American based retailers for it ? Looking at the stick also have a question; the flip out trigger how easy is that to repair? I can see that getting pulled on a little to hard and snapping off. Also looking at the design and comparing it to the TM Warthog and X-55 layouts. This seems to offer a great cross aircraft joystick layouts. If they were going to make a mark 2 or a new version. I would only make 2 suggestions to give it better function for the A-10 (which is the only aircraft I can see it having layout issues with), is to change the middle two way switch to a four way switch, and the thumb switch on the side to a 5 way switch. (Four way plus depress). This would make it usable in any DCS aircraft. Thanks
  9. Chris (helipilot7 on youtube and twitch) and Keith the owner of PE have been testing it. Here is a youtube video of them testing it
  10. Prowler, I think more now then ever Heavy lift aircraft are needed for DCS, specially with Blue Flag and Open Conflict. The integration of the logistics part in Blue Flag just calls for a heavy lifter. I am a huge Heli fan and would love something else to fly. Maybe like a UH-60..... :smilewink::music_whistling:
  11. It was mentioned in post 13 of the Weekend update on 1-29-2016 by Chizh. Which was the only place I could find it official mentioned besides maybe on a live stream. DCS: NEVADA Test and Training Range map is being enhanced with the addition of: Tonopah Air Force Base New casino/hotels in the Las Vegas strip A number of airfields and landing strips in the central (detailed) portion of the map The National Training Center (NTC) Improved grass and ground clutter Plus a host of minor improvements
  12. Was catching up with the thread and the whole "Red vs Blue" naming issue. That people won't fly because an aircraft is now on the red side and it shouldn't be and buddyspike should use different colors. My suggestion is to abandon the whole idea of Red vs Blue and do like the US Military(stories about 5 fictional countries here here ) does now for large exercises and make up fictional countries at war. Buddyspike then could write up there own stories behind the countries and why they are fighting and why they have this aircraft and that aircraft. This no longer makes it a Red can't have a <insert aircraft here> or Blue can't have this aircraft because <insert reason here>. Something that might get the fun back into Blue Flag.
  13. Corrected pilots eyes ? Did he have lasik or PRK eye surgery ? Nice changes, can't wait to test out the Multi-crew.
  14. HI Ciribob, I found the issue I was having. In the Export.lua file, from a long time ago was a bunch of code for one of the Apps to exports the CDU and UFD to a tablet. I removed all that code and left the code for the Simple Radio and it worked fine now. It was interfering with your code I think. Keep up the great work.
  15. Hi, Had a question about the Radio system. I was testing it by running the server on my computer and connect to it. Then using the mission editor placing down aircraft to check the radios. I was wondering, what aircraft is this working for ? I was able to get the overlay to show connection on the FC3 aircraft I tried (A-10a,SU-25T) and on the A-10c. But I wasn't able to get it to work on any of the Helicopters or any of the other fixed wing aircraft. Tested both 1.0.6 and 1.0.7 Thanks
  16. Was curious on the IC check, I was able to fix Starways mod to pass the IC but since the server will be running night missions, I love using Frenchy's NVG mod over the stock way NVGs are done. But the NVD.fx doesn't pass IC, if you replace it with the normal file, it reverts to stock NVG style ? Anyone have an idea on how to fix this ?
  17. I was having this issue in the Open Beta (1.5.4) but also tested it out in the Stable (1.5.3) and Open Alpha (2.0) to see if it was bug in Open Beta or an issue on my side with my controllers or keybindings ect. I never find a real answer on why it happened. It might have been a startup issue or something else, but no one really could point to an error. I have written it off and carried on flying since it seems to work now.
  18. Did more testing with both the M and L models with different start ups from what i do as a normal start up, to flipping all the systems on after the first stage of the engine starts but before I bring it to pull throttle. Auto hover worked fine. So I don't know what happened in the track that caused it to not work. So I am just going to chalk this up to some random bug on my DCS and not a internal bug to the Gazelle. :dunno: Thanks for all the help and safe flying
  19. So, I did some more testing just a few minutes ago. And it's now has me puzzled. I removed my mods and Repaired my Open Beta, just in case it was a mod conflicted. Then tested the Auto Hover and it worked first time out. I reinstalled my Starways, Kuky's, Frenchy's and Devrim Cockpit mod. Tested again, Auto hover right after lift off. I was very deliberate in my start up. Because like nomdeplume I thought it might be turning on the AP before the Gyros were on. So I don't know what I did different this time then I do all the other times I start up the Gazelle. I then loaded up my track I had posted, took control right after start up. I turned off the AP then back on again to see if anything happened. The replay still want Auto hover. So I don't know what the issue is that caused the Auto Hover not to work in the replay. I'll have to do some more testing. I've included the track where I was able to get auto hover to work. I set up the camera so it wouldn't shift so the start up could be watched. :dunno: SA342L AutoHover Test Sucess.trk
  20. Hi All, Been practicing in the current Open Beta with the changed FM and L model. Can fly it around fine but I'm still having issues with the Auto Hover. In the Stable and Alpha I had a hard time getting auto hover to work, but that was mainly because I had a hard time with the twitchiness of the Gazelle. In the Open Beta, I'm not finding its twitchy like before and able to get in a decent hover, I still have some low speed drifting to tune out. But I can't seem to get Auto hover to work. I'm attaching some tracks from both the L and M models where I get into a hover, I am watching my ground speed via the NADIR's Ground Speed mode, have my VVI near zero and no Pitch or Roll. Click the button I have bound on my X-55 for Auto Hover, see the button on the cyclic move but nothing happens. Also pressing the Q button for Auto Hover. I'm not getting the notification on the Control overlay showing that I am in AUTO. Is anyone else having this issue or is it just pilot error ? Thanks Edit: So, I tested out Auto Hover in Open Alpha and Stable, I'm able to have it turn on the first time I click the Auto Hover Button. 21. Is this the file you need ? From Config>View Server.lua
  22. You have to arm the guns now by flipping a switch on the left hand front panel. See this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2783609#post2783609 second post has the pictures of the switch
  23. It depends on the licencing agreement between Skyjet and BHTI then the agreement between Skyjet and BST. But since we are not privy to those agreements and like another poster stated that ED would not allow a 3rd party publisher to publish a module in DCS without the proper agreements, that the agreements are on the legal side of copyright law.
  24. I think what Ghost is getting at Flagrum is that he is questioning the legality of the license of the Bell's IP for the UH-1 because the way BST has stated the copyright info (see below) it sounds like it's from a 3rd party company that Ghost has never heard of and not directly from Bell/Textron. In the manual in the table of contents page, there is a statement of: "Bell, UH-1H Huey, emblems, logos, and body designs are trademarks of Textron Innovations Inc. and are used under license by Sky Jet International LLC (copyright symbol)" From what I can find on the net, Skyjet International is a arcade simulator company that does arcade and mobile games and is from Belarus. Founder is Vasily Veka and Alexander Veka. They also founded Altwolf software development. Belsimtek is also from Belarus. So my guess is BST knows them and sub-licensing the IP from Skyjet or BST, Skyjet and Altwolf are all the same people. BST's page has no info about who the owners are.
  25. From this video I've found awhile back, it looks like a mix of the HGU-55/P, and the JHMCS helmets. I'm guessing it's Pilot preference.
