  1. Some of the instruments don't have correct green light :
  2. Automatic system always think you are in level flight. because of this, it make auto the best choice for cruise. But in combat, with correct management you can have better perf with the Bf 109. But this need training ... and some engine failure to understand what you can and what you can't do ^^
  3. This is not an axis because the prop can move so much that there are no axis to have a precise control. There are 2 controls to set. But I didn't have there name. This is a completely different system from P51 or Spitfire.
  4. ED Dev are pure genuis to add this without notified any one ! I'll try this this evening. Thanks for the info !
  5. It was the addition of the new switch. Don't see it was added on the update.
  6. Should be an ingame option. Not an option from a external soft. But yes kneeboard builder is a great tool.
  7. It's now working. Good to now I'll try this evening ! If you talk about the one on the stick : safety is off.
  8. Since last update, they don't shoot anymore. I see the modification that the first trigger allow to shoot nose gun and the first two 151/20in the wing. But the second trigger don't fire the two other canon. The button move on the joystick and all the circuit breaker are correctly placed.
  9. Yeah I agree but I see people asking for it before but still nothing... Ww2 planes are just here to attract us but nothing is done to made them correctly or to adapt the environment... Still waiting cloud sync, gun convergence, work on visibility, fuel in mustang central fuel tank... But years pass and update add nothing... Except this fw (beta I know) with those kind of feature... Yeah! I m getting more and more bored with this way to work!
  10. yeah yeah keep going on that ... Get out of the forum and ask people about it. You will see what they think :music_whistling: So few people here to tell you how stupid your point is !
  11. Just read about Fw 190 everywhere. Check Fw 190 and MW 50 you will find informations. There was Fw 190 with this system. I can't proof it with test flight data because I don't know where to look after them (the one I post are the one some people send me). MW 50 was a Rüstsatz. In the A8 it's a modification of the GM1 installation to replace it with the MW50. Rüstsatz mean field modification (the eaxact meaning is that the plane didn't need to go back to factory to be modified but it was an "official" modification). The Umrüstsatz were factory modification (to heavy to be made on field). That the difference between Fw 190 A8/R... and Fw 190 A8/U... So I think there must be the information needed for the MW 50 under this designation. But again, I don't know where to find those. But it should exist.
  12. The rack was present on lot of Fw 190A8. Because it takes time to remove it, some fighter plane had it constantly. So they could be used as fighter and fighter bomber. But Fw 190 could get the rack removed. Some squadron had it remove because they weren't that much used in ground attack role. But majority of the A8 had it for each flight.
  13. It's not a problem of Agility. It's more the fact it go from 500 km/h to 300 km/h really quickly. Then it's long to get back to 500 km/h. I use target script with the warthog and personnal curves. They work fine, plane move fine. But I fell like I use airbreak for every move.
  14. Sorry I'm not english. I modifiy the title ;) Yes it's the idea.
  15. Guy I don't have the test data with the MW 50 on it. I'm sorry I'm not here to make ED job ! But there are proof that Fw 190 A used MW 50. As DCS want to "fully simulate" planes. It should be investigate. Note at first I come with a question ! Not with telling I have all the Luftwaffe information on it.
  16. Here come a video from a well known ww2 flight simulation that is probably still the reference for ww2 combat simulation : 2001 and they understand in their first version it was the feature needed to navigate from one point to another. Note the difference with kneeboard : We can't move the map in kneeboard. So if you don't have a flightplan made on editor or if the flight get lost or if you must change your plan (because it's war) you get out the kneeboard and there is only fullscreen F10 map to navigate. That annoying. I think it's needed to have this for warbirds pilot. I don't ask for navigation help. I'm asking for a map with nothing on it that I can freely watch without getting blind because it take fullscreen ... So no, the answer "get the GPS" is not what I want.

  18. Guys, I don't want to have a GPS ! It's not historical to have this in warbirds. I'm asking for a simple map like in F10 but not in full screen ! Just the size of the kneeboard ! Navigation is made with watch and details on the ground you can spot on the map ! It's a basic feature for warbirds simulator. So I'm going to fly one of them and make a video to show you.
  19. Not really historical so no ... I'm here for the warbirds and to fly them in historical context. Not to add fancy GPS on them.
  20. As we don't have GPS in warbirds, I think we really miss à minimap that can be moved. F10 map is cool but you can't see anything and it's dangerous while flying in formation with the squadron. Kneeboard are usefull but too restrictive. Isn't it possible to have a map that can be moved with mouse clic and kneeboard size ? That would be great for warbirds pilots. Thanks. EDIT : Copy of post 12 Here come a video from a well known ww2 flight simulation that is probably still the reference for ww2 combat simulation : 2001 and they understand in their first version it was the feature needed to navigate from one point to another. Note the difference with kneeboard : We can't move the map in kneeboard. 21. This is how it should work. (this is replica of standard luftwaffe warbird stick : Bf 109, Fw 190, ...) The top button can't be pushed when trigger is up (safety position). For the moment it work perfectly with that. You can't shoot canon when safety is on. But there is the button in front of the stick. This one is pressed when you press the trigger in non-safety position. Right now, in game, if you have the trigger in safety position, you still can push on the button in front of the stick. On the video it show it's possible if you turn the stick and place your finger between the two plastic side. But if you fly the plane and hold the stick correctly (like you would do it in flight), you can't reach that button. So i'm asking that the we have the correct behavior in DCS : As I fly normally my plane, when safety on, I can't reach this button so I can't fire the two Mg 131. To compare with the two other german warbirds, those work as I ask. The Bf 109 can't shoot when safety on. The Fw 190 D9 don't have safety but you can see the animation of the trigger moving from safety to non safety when shooting. I ask A8 behave like that. No shoot if safety on.
  22. @Tippis Name of the controls is not the major problem. I can understand some people use a term and some other use another which can be correct too. But It's really annoying to have to configure planes differently not because they are different but because creator can do what they want :( As you said, there should be a guideline to follow for the basic thing such controls. They need to do something about this. @zhukov032186 I agree it get better. The D9 recently had a little update on his controls. But I can't believe they didn't make an effort for the A8. I agree with all the little annoyong feature you describe too. But as a first step, I think they need to plan it a little better for the futur of DCS. It's a mess.
