Also, when trying to embed images in my post, no matter the resolution or siye, I get the following message: "The text that you have entered is too long (xxxxxx characters). Please shorten it to 50000 characters long."

These mods are made for people who use lower end computers and/or have Texture quality setting set to Low or Medium. Textures included are original DCS high resolution cockpit and instruments textures with mipmaps removed. Work of other authors/artists will be properly noted. Without mipmaps, even with the lowest Texture quality setting, entire cockpit will be in crisp high resolution. These textures may induce shimmering when zoomed out, depending on a resolution and monitor used. Mods are compatible with DCS 2.5.5 or higher. Mods are compatible with "Customized Cockpit" menu. Mods pass Integrity Check. This post will be regularly updated with new types and versions and with links to User files uploads at DCS web site once the problem I have been experiencing gets resolved. I have tried many times to upload some files to Downloads/User files section of DCS web site, but after 10-20 % of upload being finished, process would get interrupted with a generic message: "Error during file upload process. Try again." File is approximately 20 MB in size, images are either small or large in resolution, not exceeding 1 MB in individual size. Upload speed is 50-70 kB/s. I have been experiencing the described problem for quite some time. Uploading to other web sites was never a problem. This had happened several times. The mission is set with moderate wind and turbulence, MiG-21 performing cold start. AOA indicator wildly goes from minimum to maximum position and during startup, engine starts producing loud banging noise (compressor stall, probably) and flames out.

Rabb - MiG-15 If needed, can fly F-86, also. As a sidenote, I haven't tested 2.5 yet. If unable to achieve DCS running smoothly on my computer, I will let you know in advance. Many thanks.

Yugolav SOKO built Gazelles armed with Malyutkas or Strelas or empty. Out of 1775 built, 300 were built by Westland and 132 by SOKO.

Well, I am afraid that those framerates are not achievable with my computer. Or by many others', I believe. We cannot say it is a bug, but OP asked for optimization, and I agree completely because of the performance compared to almost all other modules (Hawk is another). Gazelle does not have instrument rich cockpit, so to speak, to induce such framerate drop. I had tested all modules I have (planes, helicopters and CA) on the same offline map with several dozen objects. All helicopters (Mi-8, Huey, Ka-50 and Gazelle) are flown very low. The difference in framerates is much higher than 20 percent.

Even greater FPS hit here. Offline, with few dozen objects. Turning off TV helps only a little. Only Hawk has similar/comparable issues. MiG-21 and everything else works fine.

This is Soko Gazelle (Yugoslav license built), flown by current Hungarian civlian owner: They have a bunch of great helicopter flight videos on their Youtube channel. Their Gazelle is in light civilian edition, true, and Soko/Yugoslav Malyutka-armed Gazelles are (probably) lighter than Sa-342Ms which have more powerful engine on the other hand. But, I believe they should be at least comparable to Sa-342Ls... Not so in current Polychop's edition. Yugoslav Gazelle start-up, Hungarian edition ;) : UK Gazelle flight: Unfortunately, I have still to find a good video which shows collective use in Gazelle and its authority...
