Torrent is getting faster and faster, allthough only 8 seeders at the moment. Currently downloading at ~100-300KB/s and uploading at 400KB/s. Not complaining! I expected way slower speeds :) Thanks ED. X52 Pro arriving tommorow - perfect timing! :)

I am having problems with the first mission of "the shore" too. My problem is something else though. 1) I cleared all ground threats around the checkpoint, green smoke is visible. 2) I tell the helo (F10 in comm menu) to ingress. He replies, that he's 5 min out, "feet dry", 2 min out. Then he reaches the green smoke...and nothing happens. I can't tell him to egress, he just hovers there, doesn't even land. I can't find any more ground threats and the mission isn't complete. Any hints what I'm doing wrong? I tried the mission the 8th time or so now and I'm getting a bit tired of it because I can't see anything I'm doing wrong :S

Also thinking about it...just bought a X52 Pro and really don't wanna spend 150$+ on TIR5 now...let's see :S

The main problem for me was the following: Rudder is on "Z" and speed up is on Ctrl+Z (or Y, it's switched for me because of the swiss keyboard layout). Often while speeding up I hit quickly Z instead of CTRL+Z which breaks the autopilot. Maybe it helps if you just clear Z in the settings, because you won't need it anyway (probably ;) ).

ATC tells you the runway and you can also see the possibilites on the screen if I remember correctly. And for the training mission, in beta 4, it's actually about 121. At least for me :) But it is a bug, it should be the exact heading of the runway.

Thanks for the pdf on the first page, it helped :) The problem is, that you don't have to wait for this in the training mission. So I assumed I can just enable NAV. Things cleared up now :)

I'm not sure if you meant "it will be fixed in the next update" or whether it should already work, because at the moment it doesn't - 130 is still "wrong". If you know about it and it's being worked on, no problem :) Yes, it's CTRL+B and SHIFT+B. I think he even tells you that in the training mission :) Just follow his instructions until you reach the final approach point where he tells you to descend to 2'500 ft. Maintain about 230-250 knots, use the airbrake if necessary - go down pretty steep, not too slowly (10° or even more). When the runway is about at your 9 o'clock, turn left relatively hard, slow down below 200 knots. Gear down, flaps down. Now go down to about 120-130 knots. And make sure you have an eye on the ILS needle (and in the end on PAPI). When you are about above the runway, throttle down, pull slowly up. As soon as you touch down, engage air brakes, touch down with the front wheels and engage wheel brakes. This way it should be pretty easy to brake. If you are too fast during approach, open up the air brakes a little bit and leave them like that and use more throttle if necessary. Hope I could help a little bit :)

Ouch. That could be the reason... :doh: To Autohover: is it supposed to go forwards/backwards ? Its always going forward/backwards really slowly (about 3-5km/h) and it doesn't try to return to the original hoverposition... :S

Sometimes I really have difficulties with the auto turn. Sometimes it works perfectly, then again it's doing real strange things. Turning my chopper away, just turning in circles (although the target ISNT directly below me ;) ) etc. Really don't know what I'm doing wrong then. ENR is off, Alt is also off. Bank/Pitch is on. Does anyone know a possible error cause?

Running 8.12, having no problems (Vista Business 64). Updating to 9.2 today or tomorrow. And you really don't need driver cleaner. You even don't need to reboot on vista when you don't install the previous drivers. However, I still deinstall them, though it isn't necessary. Don't know why, just got used to it ;)

Problem definitely solved: My Gamepad with Force Feedback was also connected to the computer (although deactivated response in options) - thats what caused the problems...disconnected and no crash since then :)

Seems like the resolution was the problem... was at 1600*1200 - normally thats really no problem and fps was also okay...I reduced it to 1280*1024 and just 1 crash since then. Strange. Other graphicoptions are nearly all maxed.

Should this be fixed btw.? Got the same problem, using patch 1.12a

No trim setting :/ Just Buttons on keyboard and joystick and both of them dont work. And do you know how I just use 1 core for the game?

Hey folks I bought FC yesterday and since then, trimming the airplane isnt possible anymore. I press the buttons but nothing happens. Doesnt matter if im using Mig, A-10 or whatever. And yes, the configuration is correct (neither works on joystick nor on keyboard). Its really annoying to fly without trim :/ Reinstalling the whole game didnt work. Using 1.12a/1.12b (didnt work with neither of them). Hope somebody can help me :) Greets Edit: oh and when im already posting: How do I correctly load a saved state from a mission? Never works for me (pressing fly! button but nothing happens) Edit2: Well the longer I play the game, the more problems occur: 1. Crashes 2. Campaignloss 1. Game crashes now and then. During a mission (no matter which one, a-10, mig, whatever) the game just crashes occasionly (black screen, message that game crashed etc. and rtd) Inst./Gameinfo: Installed Lock On, Applied FC, installed scenerypatch (no moviepatch though), applied 1.12a/1.12b (same problems no matter what patch and yes, its right version) Systeminfo: C2D 2,4 2GB RAM (DDR2-667) GF 8800 GTS 320 Running on WinXPSP2 2. When I restart the game, campaign missions are lost. I was on 5th A-10 mission and after restart I was again at the 2nd. Same with mig missions...this is really annoying....
