OK So to buy anything as far as campaigns etc should wait till January? This is fine actually as I was going tom concentrate on re-learning the A10C Avionics package.

WOW! Confusing indeed. I have no campaigns or missions in Nevada. Are there any that come with the terrain or is it void of any mission, etc?

I now have a DCS WORLD folder and a DCS WORLD 2 OPENALPHA. While in the OPEN ALPHA sim, I no longer have the caucuses terrain and just Nevada. Is this normal? Can I NOT have the Caucuses terrain in the OPENALPHA?

I still have the EAGLE DYNAMICS folder with all its sub directories. I also have the DCS UPDATER file which I clicked on. My DSL download speeds where is live is about 1/4 MB/sec. Absolutely TERRIBLE! I am currently on torrents trying to download the update but after a solid day, I'm only 1/2 way there. SIDE NOTE: I hope to finally have Comcast out here in two weeks or so. I also have the A-10 Warthog that I was becoming proficient at before I bailed. I am eyeballing the F-18 now but I've been away for so long, I have forgotten how all this ties together.

So it might be best to wait till the end of Jan?

Greetings, I flew this sim about I think, about 2 years ago and for one reason or another I stopped. I wanted to get back into it but see TONS has changed. I still have the DCS folders in my saved games folder on this computer however, I forget what it is I need to get it back up and running. I last flew it right before the release of the Las Vegas scenery. I also flew the A-10. What is the best way to get this back up and running? Thanks

I knew the minute that I posted a question on this I would figure it out. I was trying to set up the HOF etc on the ground. I saw another tutorial on it and it explained that it will give you a Invalid Fusing error on the HUD because you are below the HOF altitude. DUH! ( I have my moments.) Thanks for the help guys.

CBU-97 Loaded on four pylons. Went into DSMS then INV and selected the CBU97. Changed the HOF to every setting available but still get the INVALID FUZING error on the HUD. I have watched numerous tutorials and read stuff till I'm blue in the face but can't get rid of the error message. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help. EDIT: I also selected to save it to all bombs and then verified that all bombs have a HOF of 500 or the default 1800, whichever one I was trying.

Purchased a PS3 EYE camera and removed the IR lens. I installed OPENTRACK and got it working with the A10C but it was choppy in the PITCH setting. ZI figured I would try FacetackNoir. I then downloaded FaceTracknoir and when I went into DCS with the A10C, I selected OPTIONS and then saw the Options menu say FACETRACK right next to TrackIR across the top. The files I placed into the DCS World/BIN directory obviously worked. My problem is that although DCS sees Facetrack, I cannot get any head movement. SO... I removed the HEADTRACKER.DLL file thinking that I would try using the TRACKIR menu again. NOW TrackIR has disappeared from my menu along with Facetrack. All I have is KEYBOARD - THROTTLE - STICK and MOUSE. No TrackIR. How do I get TrackIR BACK onto my menu so I can assign axis? I sure hope I didn't confuse anyone with all this. hehe

I've been reading and reading and after trying for over an hour to get the RED FLAG chatter mod to work (Still doesn't work) I'm lost. Being new to this sim is my problem I realize but is there a "must have" type list for mods for the A-10C of DCS in general? How do I know what to install and what is junk? I wasted hours trying to get the chatter file to work and nothing. A little guidance would be appreciated.

Im going thru the SU25 training after just installing. I was having a hard time learning the plane because it was all in Russian. Normally, I like this but to help me out, I downloaded the RICARDOS HD Russian Pits for DCS WORLD mod. I placed the zipped files in the BIZAR/WORLD/TEXTURES folder as instructed. Problem is... NOW WHAT? I went back into the sim and everything is still in Russian. Whats my next step? Thanks.
