Hello pilots, I was training a bit with a friend in an online mission: 2x Mirage 2000C Enfield 1-1,1-2 1x Ai JTAC (HMMW TOW) Whiplash 1-1 (140.00MHz) And enemy BTR-80. Now I will explain what happens, only the wingleader (Enfield 1-1) can communicate successfully with the JTAC, the other doesn't have any answer by him. We checked the radio frequency, if the radio was in Manual mode and so on. Everything was ok. Then we changed role (I was 1-1). Same as before, only the leader can communicate with JTAC. My answer is: this is normal? This is related to the datalink switch in the JTAC's Enroute task? This is a bug? Thanks for any help provided!

Ok thanks for the clarification!

Ok then the frequencies range for the V/UHF is 118.00 to 143.90 & 146.00 to 400.00 right? Great job on this file! Really useful!

According to chuck's guide of the Mirage 2000C: - V/UHF COM1 radio is used for communications between 118 and 400 MHz. - UHF COM2 radio is used for communications between 225 and 400 Hz. Then the "true" radio coverage is 118.00 to 143.90 for V/UHF (main) and 225.00 - 399.90 for the UHF (aux)?

Hi pilots, Today I was trying some JTAC/buddy lasing with the M2K-C. In the mission editor I've assigned to the JTAC the frequency 145.00MHz in AM. Once in the cockpit and in flight I've tried to enter this frequency in the UVHF radio. (Using the Manual mode, not preset) but the problem is that the all frequencies between 145.00 and 144.00 are "showed" as 225.00 in the led indicator (and they doesn't work I.e. Cannot communicate) Now my question is, does those frequencies are "reserved" or something like that ? Or is a bug? Thanks in advance for any help provided! And for devs: continue your great job with this module!

Id i remember correctly is LeftCtrl+3

My question is: Does TAS or RS affects also cannons for AG? If i remember correctly for use cannons in AG you should select the AG pipper (CCLT or PRED in the HUD controls panel) The CCLT should be like a continuos calculated solution for shooting, meanwhil the PRED should be for AA. Does it is correct?

Nope i'll give a try as soon as possible

The radar altimeter for calculate the distance to ground shouldn't be the RS mode on PCA? The CAS is for use cannons on ground if I'm not wrong.

Yes this happens to me too. I have tried all of my sticks (Defender Cobra M5, Thrustmaster T.16000, Logitech Extreme 3D pro) They are top end sticks but they do their work. I've also tried different settings for sensivity and dead zone.

Yes the CCIP doesn't work well, but at least you can hit something using the radar altimeter. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

Yeah I agree with you. Radar has the priority together with other things like INS, improved CCRP radar ranging (TAS), a decent FM for the Super 530D and the MagicII. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

Yep sorry, I mean the jammer priority (jammer over radar or vice-versa). Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk

In the poll is not specified if the jammer will be developed before or after the other systems (like INS). The poll is about an "absolute" opinion. You want or not.
-
Yeah! I completley agree with you! Some people want IFF some not, some people want ins some not. C'mon guys this is a shame.

If i'm not wrong Awacs And EWR responds with BRAA only if the bandits are in range.
-
UPDATE: I have also found that the rwr will signal a different lock tone for the SAM's radar.
-
Hey man looks great, this evening I'll try it. But really looks great!
-
At about 80% you can start moving. Is in the scramble procedures in the M2000C pilot manual.
-
At the moment I can recognize only 2 kinds of sounds. The 1st is like a short beep and it will be heard when a new plane is added on the RWR (a new radio source). The second is like a long continued beep and is meaning that you are locked by the enemy radar. On the RWR is displayed a circle on the symbols. Ex A MiG-23 will lock you, you will heard a long beep, and on RWR the "23" is circled.

Yes approach mode is the APP button on PCA

If you stay at low level is better to drop a little before the target, cause of the gliding path. Is better IMHO to drop with a dive of 15-20° from an altitude like 2000ft

This switch is used to prioritize the Jammer over the radar or vice-versa, cause the M2k-c's jammer is so powerful that will jam Also it's own radar. Dunno if this will be implemented at the moment. By the way thanks to suggest me to press "E", I thought that wouldn't work Ok that's what I want to know! Thanks
-
Ok so switch on to M, then prioritize the Radar over the jammer (the square). Thanks! A LAST thing Have you found some changes to engaging a M2kC with jammer, like less range for engage etc or is simply "esthetic" ?
