I was looking at a mig and Saber today at the USAF museum . one of the advantages the US pilots had were g-suits . Will any consideration be give to the fact the Mig pilots can't pull as many gs as the US could ?

I took an f15c against a mig15 , it took an aim9 and and a 120 and did not even look damaged . I don't think a .50 will hurt it.

Can I assign a Buk SAM to side, insurgents , or do I have to operate it as Russia ?

Can we expect anymore PFM/SSM aircraft ? Or will everything be PFM/ASM from now on ? I actually like the SSM modeling , it's about the right learning curve for me on a limited time gaming schedule (3-4 hours a week). Deep enough for me / easy to learn in an hour or two, easy to jump between different aircraft. To me I would get rid of arcade mode and allow for a SSM in A-10C and be able to swap between either ASM and SSM rather then ASM and Arcade. Does anyone even use the arcade mode ? :pilotfly:

Now if we just had an animated ground crew :) That's definitely the one thing that would make the world seem more real , but still beyond performance limits of the engine / current processors to implement.

I figured it out, it did get corrupted , but I found DCS_updater in a temp file and copied it over Works now. I am thinking DCS_Updater tried to update itself today , I see the modified date of today. Somehow it corrupted itself . (assuming) Does someone have the latest DCS_updater.exe file I can get and tray that ? If I run from c:\pro...\DCS World/run command it works

I have been working fine for a long time, I go to start DCS world and launcher just spins for a really long time , like 20 min. I reset the computer and now get this message from the GUI or CLI C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin>DCS_Updater This version of C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. I picked up A-10C FINALLY, still won't have time to fully master it, but it's fun to explore.
